- In the culling game arc of Jujutsu Kaisen there are multiple new characters introduced, some from the modern age and some from past eras. In this video I will rank every JJK culling game player from weakest to strongest in order to discover who truly is the number one sorcerer in Jujutsu Kaisen Culling Game Arc. Ranking every JJK character that shows up in this arc, not including anyone that wasn't introduced. Eventually once all character types are ranked, I hope to be able to rank every character in Jujutsu Kaisen and explain them in depth. Thanks for watching.

It didn't really hit me until now how much I like Higaruma as a character. Interesting character arc, interesting powers. I just like him so much. Only character introduced this late in the series I care about this much.
funny, I've been caring more about the CG players than most of the old cast lol, Higuruma included.
@@myb701same tbh. I feel like JJK is weird in that is has a solid cast, but at the same time a lot of the old cast is just kind of meh to me. Todo, Toji, Gojo, maki, Yuji, and Megumi are cool, but most of the others just don’t quite live up to the CG players

54:28 One small correction, Kashimo did not die in an era of war. He lived during the edo period, which was far more peaceful than adherent eras. Sorcerers were stated to be more focused on farming I believe

This is not confirmed and comes entirely from the memes. It is true that the edo period was one of the most peaceful in Japan history tho. As for if that translates to the JJK world it's hard to say.

Ik I was thinking he was ranked weirdly low. I figured he had a heavenly restriction like a lesser toji but only when holding something he considers a katana.
@@RatSwallowernah the entire point about Daido is he had no cursed energy, heavenly restriction or binding vows of any kind. He was 100% human. I feel like that's what gege was trying to convey with his introduction. Of course with a regular sword, he would be ranked very low, but put a special grade cursed tool like soul splitter in his hands and he's probably comparable to Maki if not better in lethality. He just has no durability due to being fully human.

I just wanna say, ALL of Ryu's blasts are at full power, the only reason he has to charge up is because he suffered from burnout, his CT allows him to have no charge-up period(which is why Uro survived the surprise blast from him)
Hear me out :KasHIMo is a self fulfilling prophecy and that’s why he died so easily against Sukuna. I always got the impression that Kashimo wasn’t looking for a good fight so much as he was looking for a way to die. Realistically, if he had traveled across the country to fight Ryu he might’ve lost (Ryu having a domain and all) but he didn’t because if he went all out (MBA) he would still obliterate him. Instead Kenjaku tell him about this sorcerer of legend (Sukuna) and Kashimo immediately jumps at the opportunity to fight him. Not because Sukuna is the only sorcerer powerful enough to kill him , but because Sukuna is the only sorcerer powerful enough to understand how Kashimo felt being alone at the top.
TLDR: Kashimo sought out Sukuna because he wanted to confirm that he wasn’t alone , and that there were other lonely strong people throughout the ages who knew what he felt.He wanted “companionship”.

It gets a lot of criticism, a lot of which is deserved, but man, I've had such a blast with this arc. From a standpoint of pure enjoyment (not of writing), the culling game is over Shibuya for me

For sure. I think the Culling Games up until Yuki's death is wayyy more entertaining than Shibuya. Then we get Gojo vs Sukuna which lived up to the hype. It's just annoying seeing some wonky execution for some character send-offs.

I would’ve preferred if we previously saw a descendant of Kashimo that modified his curse technique so that it wouldn’t immediately kill the user. That way we could see the technique with a wider utility and common use while still keeping Kashimo’s use of it to have a more “primal” version. The primal version can obviously still be stronger and honestly be even more broken because of the binding vow of death but the modern day can show versatility.

It was not because of a binding vow that Kashimo dies to his curse technique. It is because his body fundamentally changes, in such a way that he cannot sustain it without cursed energy. That is why he dies when he has no cursed energy left, is because his body is not stable.

Kashimo is so underutilized it’s saddening, EVERY phenomenon electrical. He could create storms of historic proportions, he straight just fries your brain, controlling electricity he could allow nuclear fusion to happen as much as he wants too
Kashimo would be such a terrifying Vengeful Spirit, if he retained his cursed technique like Naoya did, he probably would be able to cast a Domain Expansion, plus use Mythical Beast Amber without the one time use restriction his human body had. As a curse, he’d probably could activate and deactivate the technique, and with enough time, replenish his body and Cursed Technique, kinda like Mahito.
Honestly, RCT would also make him much more of a beast

Now I know he's upscaled because he "fought" Sukuna and has potential on the level of Gojo, but Sukuna was clearly toying with him, Sukuna even deadass trained him to use RCT. And potential isn't an argument of strength otherwise Megumi starts the series as the strongest sorcerer because Gojo said he could surpass him

This conclusion comes entirely from your own assumptions. There's no reason to believe Gojo could nullify the Comedian, or that Takaba couldn't defeat him. *In fact* , Takaba would have decent chance against Gojo since I don't doubt that he would find it funny to be able to solo "the strongest" who's been in the profession from the day of his birth.
I really hope when they adapt the culling games in the anime they give it more thought and maybe some anime only scenes. Expanding upon details. The send off for both Gojo and Kashimo need to be REDONE, expanded upon, or maybe even extended.
The culling games as a whole needed to be double its current size to fit all the characters and their own personal arcs without rushing anything, because alot of characters suffer from the lack of time and from the pacing of the arc. Too many fights (most were bangers yes), but too little time to let the characters interact with one another during the breaks.
The culling games could benefit from a lot of changes for the anime. I hope they extend a few small fights like megumi vs hazenoki and that claw guy. And maybe even Yuta against that old guy could become a short fight.
The actual sendoffs for Gojo and Kashimo were good we just need Kashimo to show off more.

The culling games was so wild and crazy and non stop in action I'm surprised it only had 19 players that we saw. I assumed there was like 25-30 at least. The arc is so wild it's amazing.

I feel like higuruma is above Uro and thats as far as he gets. Like yorozu, Ryu and Uro could all use their domains to clash with deadly sentencing. The only reason Higuruma beats Uro is because he actually can hit her while using domain amplification and can use his weapon in conjunction with it by pauisng and resuming its shapeshifting. Otherwise, the others slam. Even Ryu if his ct gets confiscated it doesnt change his powers at all and it funnily enough completely counters domain amplification if he decides to use his normal cursed energy blasts. And Yorozu just deletes Higuruma no further elaboration needed.

Higuruma, even if he can disable their technique and get the Executioner’s Sword, isn’t beating Yoruzu, Ryu, Uro, or Kurourushi (he’d lose his weapon) during the Culling Games. 2 weeks of Jujutsu under his belt, barely able to put hands on Yuji, and he’s top 3? Lol
Higuruma ironically beats Hana (if he can stop her from using Jacob’s Ladder) but loses to most of the Top 10 before the timeskip, and he loses badly.

Higurmas actually cracked. His domain wins a donain clash unless against open barrier. He can confoscate opponents technique. He can use domain amplication while still weilding his technique(executioners sword). He has RCT.

After seeings Kashimo at #2 I was a bit confused then realized, oh yeah, takaba. I disagree with Higuruma being above yorozu since this is more of a power tier list and I believe yorozu would win a domain clash and kill Higuruma.

No, as the ct of kashimo gradually decays the body, that's why sukuna's dismantle worked on him. If he was just energy, then dismstle won't do anything. In fact, at the last seconds of the cursed tech where his body is almost gone, that's when he'll be invincible vs. sukuna as sukuna can cut all he wanted, but kashimo would've been only energy. That's prob why sukuns immediately took him out.

Dhruv isn't per se stronger than ryu. If ishigori ryu killed dhruv, he'd have activated kuro urushi, and uro would target him. Each of them was crazy strong, so if they took on any of the others, the others would have an opening. A stalemate. Whomever makes The first move Will be too hurt or fatigued to survive The other 2
