It didn't really hit me until now how much I like Higaruma as a character. Interesting character arc, interesting powers. I just like him so much. Only character introduced this late in the series I care about this much.

I feel like that's what gege was trying to convey with his introduction. Of course with a regular sword, he would be ranked very low, but put a special grade cursed tool like soul splitter in his hands and he's probably comparable to Maki if not better in lethality. He just has no durability due to being fully human.
Hear me out :KasHIMo is a self fulfilling prophecy and that’s why he died so easily against Sukuna. I always got the impression that Kashimo wasn’t looking for a good fight so much as he was looking for a way to die. Realistically, if he had traveled across the country to fight Ryu he might’ve lost (Ryu having a domain and all) but he didn’t because if he went all out (MBA) he would still obliterate him. Instead Kenjaku tell him about this sorcerer of legend (Sukuna) and Kashimo immediately jumps at the opportunity to fight him. Not because Sukuna is the only sorcerer powerful enough to kill him , but because Sukuna is the only sorcerer powerful enough to understand how Kashimo felt being alone at the top. TLDR: Kashimo sought out Sukuna because he wanted to confirm that he wasn’t alone , and that there were other lonely strong people throughout the ages who knew what he felt.He wanted “companionship”.

For sure. I think the Culling Games up until Yuki's death is wayyy more entertaining than Shibuya. Then we get Gojo vs Sukuna which lived up to the hype. It's just annoying seeing some wonky execution for some character send-offs.
Kashimo is so underutilized it’s saddening, EVERY phenomenon electrical. He could create storms of historic proportions, he straight just fries your brain, controlling electricity he could allow nuclear fusion to happen as much as he wants too
I would’ve preferred if we previously saw a descendant of Kashimo that modified his curse technique so that it wouldn’t immediately kill the user. That way we could see the technique with a wider utility and common use while still keeping Kashimo’s use of it to have a more “primal” version. The primal version can obviously still be stronger and honestly be even more broken because of the binding vow of death but the modern day can show versatility.
It was not because of a binding vow that Kashimo dies to his curse technique. It is because his body fundamentally changes, in such a way that he cannot sustain it without cursed energy. That is why he dies when he has no cursed energy left, is because his body is not stable.
Higuruma will forever be my favourite character in jjk he’s sorcery growth character growth and just who he is made me always wanted to have his back and his bond with itadori I would of loved to see how much more he could grow. The fact he could go hand to hand with sukuna with only 2 months experience is awesome. that final panel really hit me hard

Higuruma this high is kinda wild not gonna lie. Now I know he's upscaled because he "fought" Sukuna and has potential on the level of Gojo, but Sukuna was clearly toying with him, Sukuna even deadass trained him to use RCT. And potential isn't an argument of strength otherwise Megumi starts the series as the strongest sorcerer because Gojo said he could surpass him
Kashimo would be such a terrifying Vengeful Spirit, if he retained his cursed technique like Naoya did, he probably would be able to cast a Domain Expansion, plus use Mythical Beast Amber without the one time use restriction his human body had. As a curse, he’d probably could activate and deactivate the technique, and with enough time, replenish his body and Cursed Technique, kinda like Mahito.

I really hope when they adapt the culling games in the anime they give it more thought and maybe some anime only scenes. Expanding upon details. The send off for both Gojo and Kashimo need to be REDONE, expanded upon, or maybe even extended.
The culling games as a whole needed to be double its current size to fit all the characters and their own personal arcs without rushing anything, because alot of characters suffer from the lack of time and from the pacing of the arc. Too many fights (most were bangers yes), but too little time to let the characters interact with one another during the breaks.
The culling games could benefit from a lot of changes for the anime. I hope they extend a few small fights like megumi vs hazenoki and that claw guy. And maybe even Yuta against that old guy could become a short fight.
Higuruma, even if he can disable their technique and get the Executioner’s Sword, isn’t beating Yoruzu, Ryu, Uro, or Kurourushi (he’d lose his weapon) during the Culling Games. 2 weeks of Jujutsu under his belt, barely able to put hands on Yuji, and he’s top 3? Lol Higuruma ironically beats Hana (if he can stop her from using Jacob’s Ladder) but loses to most of the Top 10 before the timeskip, and he loses badly.
Higurmas actually cracked. His domain wins a donain clash unless against open barrier. He can confoscate opponents technique. He can use domain amplication while still weilding his technique(executioners sword). He has RCT.
The culling games was so wild and crazy and non stop in action I'm surprised it only had 19 players that we saw. I assumed there was like 25-30 at least. The arc is so wild it's amazing.

the thing is back in miyo's era or the old era, jujutsu sorcerers would fight each other like how stand users are drawn to each other they just cant resist to show strength (this was stated in kashimo's story, and was the reason why toji fought gojo and didnt dodge hollow purple despite being capable) and by that mental consent he can always activate the simple domain and his domain isn't exactly a simple domain but a domain like the cursed spirit that asked toji if she's pretty

I feel like higuruma is above Uro and thats as far as he gets. Like yorozu, Ryu and Uro could all use their domains to clash with deadly sentencing. The only reason Higuruma beats Uro is because he actually can hit her while using domain amplification and can use his weapon in conjunction with it by pauisng and resuming its shapeshifting. Otherwise, the others slam. Even Ryu if his ct gets confiscated it doesnt change his powers at all and it funnily enough completely counters domain amplification if he decides to use his normal cursed energy blasts. And Yorozu just deletes Higuruma no further elaboration needed.

There are a lot of holes in this list: Ryu massively outperformed Dhruv against Yuta. No mild implication should change this fact. Holding back techniques doesn’t mean everything. Yorozu still physically scales to 15 finger Sukuna, full stop. She should be second on this list to Kashimo. In a fight, not one of these players except for KasHIMo are touching Ryu. He scales to Base Yuta in all physical stats, which means Higuruma won’t be able to cast a domain in time and no other player should be able to damage him. Ryu should be ranked WAY higher. My ranking: 1. Takaba (obviously) 2. Kashimo 3. Yorozu 4. Ryu 5. Higuruma 6. Hana 7. Uro 8. Dhruv 9. Kuro 10. Reggie
Yorozu in 5th below Hana and Higuruma is absolutely diabolically and utterly wild, crazy and bamboozling to me. Sure, Yorozu might get her technique taken from her, but I doubt she’d get the death sentence seeing that she’s done nothing confirming she deserves it. If anything, she’d be charged for like public nudity or smth and then go wipe the floor with Higuruma physically. And Yorozu is easily faster than Hana, can fly, etc.

Ishigori isn't all that fast either, Kashimo can easily get close to him. He was leaping like 200m into the air against Sukuna so getting close wouldn't be a problem. He's also much faster than Jackpot Hakari in running speed.

No, as the ct of kashimo gradually decays the body, that's why sukuna's dismantle worked on him. If he was just energy, then dismstle won't do anything. In fact, at the last seconds of the cursed tech where his body is almost gone, that's when he'll be invincible vs. sukuna as sukuna can cut all he wanted, but kashimo would've been only energy. That's prob why sukuns immediately took him out.
I disagree with Dhruv because even though Dhruv was definitely stalemating Uro and Kurourushi, I think it was the fact that all 4 of them were careful of the others presence that made them wary of challenging each other. If any of them made a move against the other, the other two who weren't locked in combat would respond to pick off the winner of the confrontation.

Now I know he's upscaled because he "fought" Sukuna and has potential on the level of Gojo, but Sukuna was clearly toying with him, Sukuna even deadass trained him to use RCT. And potential isn't an argument of strength otherwise Megumi starts the series as the strongest sorcerer because Gojo said he could surpass him
Kashimo would be such a terrifying Vengeful Spirit, if he retained his cursed technique like Naoya did, he probably would be able to cast a Domain Expansion, plus use Mythical Beast Amber without the one time use restriction his human body had. As a curse, he’d probably could activate and deactivate the technique, and with enough time, replenish his body and Cursed Technique, kinda like Mahito.

I really hope when they adapt the culling games in the anime they give it more thought and maybe some anime only scenes. Expanding upon details. The send off for both Gojo and Kashimo need to be REDONE, expanded upon, or maybe even extended.
The culling games as a whole needed to be double its current size to fit all the characters and their own personal arcs without rushing anything, because alot of characters suffer from the lack of time and from the pacing of the arc. Too many fights (most were bangers yes), but too little time to let the characters interact with one another during the breaks.
The culling games could benefit from a lot of changes for the anime. I hope they extend a few small fights like megumi vs hazenoki and that claw guy. And maybe even Yuta against that old guy could become a short fight.
The actual sendoffs for Gojo and Kashimo were good we just need Kashimo to show off more.

I feel like higuruma is above Uro and thats as far as he gets. Like yorozu, Ryu and Uro could all use their domains to clash with deadly sentencing. The only reason Higuruma beats Uro is because he actually can hit her while using domain amplification and can use his weapon in conjunction with it by pauisng and resuming its shapeshifting. Otherwise, the others slam. Even Ryu if his ct gets confiscated it doesnt change his powers at all and it funnily enough completely counters domain amplification if he decides to use his normal cursed energy blasts. And Yorozu just deletes Higuruma no further elaboration needed.

There are a lot of holes in this list:
Ryu massively outperformed Dhruv against Yuta. No mild implication should change this fact.
Holding back techniques doesn’t mean everything. Yorozu still physically scales to 15 finger Sukuna, full stop. She should be second on this list to Kashimo.
In a fight, not one of these players except for KasHIMo are touching Ryu. He scales to Base Yuta in all physical stats, which means Higuruma won’t be able to cast a domain in time and no other player should be able to damage him. Ryu should be ranked WAY higher.

Sure, Yorozu might get her technique taken from her, but I doubt she’d get the death sentence seeing that she’s done nothing confirming she deserves it. If anything, she’d be charged for like public nudity or smth and then go wipe the floor with Higuruma physically. And Yorozu is easily faster than Hana, can fly, etc.
Literally also she actually outspends 15f meguna by a decent amount in bug armour there’s no way kashimo beats her either (and domain is also a factor) she’s easily top 1 (excluding takaba bc he’s takaba)

Ishigori isn't all that fast either, Kashimo can easily get close to him. He was leaping like 200m into the air against Sukuna so getting close wouldn't be a problem. He's also much faster than Jackpot Hakari in running speed.

No, as the ct of kashimo gradually decays the body, that's why sukuna's dismantle worked on him. If he was just energy, then dismstle won't do anything. In fact, at the last seconds of the cursed tech where his body is almost gone, that's when he'll be invincible vs. sukuna as sukuna can cut all he wanted, but kashimo would've been only energy. That's prob why sukuns immediately took him out.
