Time to put everything Jujutsu Kaisen has to offer to the test. But taking every character that is a student at Jujutsu Technical High School, all the way from people like Yuji Itadori and Maki Zenin to Yuta Okkotsu and Hakari Kinji. We will include Kyoto students as well like Aoi Todo and Miwa Kasumi. Ranking every character from Weakest to Strongest.

i love inumaki but he has no serious feats he gets injured everytime he does anything notable, thats too high of a drawback to put him any higher

I think the thing is this list ranks them on ability to fight eachother and powerful spirits.
So, anyone ranked here should be able to be able to beat people with a higher number than them
But JJK Grades in universe measure the type of curses they can beat consistently. They grade curses, and then send a sorcerer of the same rank to fight them, since a sorcerer of that rank should be able to take them out 100% of the time.
With Inumaki, he's grade 1, and as per what we've seen, it checks out. He absolutely is a grade 1 sorcerer, capable of in a business standpoint, dealing with grade 1 spirits.
But that's about it.
His technique is good at exorcism, really good.
But in terms of fighting people on equal or higher levels? Not really

@@TrafalgarD.Wat3rLawThat's only because he is fighting special grade curses if he uses his curse speech on his class mates he wouldn't suffer that same backlash. In JJK 0 they even say he gets send to do missions too dangerous for maki and panda. Only now that Maki is Toji level is she above him.
Toge belongs higher on the list. His cursed speech is actually very strong, but because his most famous battle was against Hanami (who is wildly strong even for a special grade) his got severely injured giving less dramatic commands.
Agree, think I would place him over Kamo at least, maybe even Muta if Muta doesn't have his Cursed Energy reserves built up; there's a reason why he was the only one of the 1st and 2nd years to be a semi-grade 1 at the start of the series
It's pretty ineffective against sorcerers if they protect their ears with cursed energy though

I really love how Maki developed throughout the story from not being able to do anything against the special grade curse in the exchange event and against jogo in shibuya to becoming the embodiment of strength and willpower, can’t wait to see her and Okkotsu pushed to their limits
She didn't necessarily develop, she just got a power up.
@@Jaafar_Alkhalifa she definitely developed. Her mindset changes have been shown throughout the manga. She starts off the series as someone who is completely shut off due to her sheer determination to prove the Zenin clan wrong, and as she meets Yuta, then Itadori, and as she realizes how powerless she herself is against the strongest beings, she is able to free her mind more and more. Mai’s sacrifice breaks the curse of being a twin that was placed on Maki, and it caused her to be able to fully utilize her Heavenly Restriction. The culmination of her full freedom is shown in the most recent chapters, I won’t spoil if you haven’t read them (even though it was slightly shown in the video). She is one of the characters who actually develops naturally in the series in my opinion, some others feel forced but hers is natural and satisfying.

I don't remember itadori or even Yuta having any impact on her. Yuta might pass by giving her the sense of being accepted, but that was all. Let's say that they did impact her character. She didn't grow at all from it. Infact, her spiteful act of killing the clan is counterintuitive.
Also, narratively speaking what exactly is she breaking free from?
What does this have to do with her original goal of proving the clan wrong and become their leader?
I fully agree, it hasn't been anything near character development, it was just stupid power up out of thin air, it would be something if we were told about "twin curse" back in the beginning and Maki somehow getting through everything with that curse back on her mind, but it came out of nowhere and i don't like that part of JJK at all, in fact it's probably the only storyline i do hate in this series
I need Yuta and Maki to have more time together. Can you imagine the potential of those kids.
Someone with a massive amount of cursed energy and someone with none would probably just give birth to...like a kid with an average amount...might not even have a ct

I would think inumaki would beat Momo and even Momo was worried about looking out for the curse speech and not to mention that in baseball episode we learn he is super athletic. He stopped and blasted away hanami while I doubt Momo would do a scratch
In JJK movie 0 (which is canon) he showed his athletic capabilities

@@funderburke43 Gorilla mode has better damage showings and seemed a little faster to me as well but Rhino core is pretty much featless but has Statements of better defense. Panda is just well balanced and vercitile, if he was actually better than his siblings overall, why would he ever use the others? The chapter where he loses his siblings also implies that he relies on his siblings a great amount when he's in a pinch.

@@stillkountin There’s pretty much a theory that Maki will be killed by Sukuna in a fight. Maki has learned that she’s invulnerable in a domain because she’s seen as a building or an object. But, Sukuna’s cleave ability in his domain exclusively targets inanimate objects such as buildings or in this case, Maki. So if they have an encounter, Sukuna will kill her because of the domain’s sure hit effect stacked with his cleave ability. I really hope this isn’t how it turns out though because I really like Maki as a character.

4:55 Inumaki's cursed speech was extremely effective even on Hanami, a special grade disaster curse and he's also extremely athletic and great at controlling cursed energy (as Yuta himself stated that cursed speech is incredibly hard to control). I hope we get to see him at his full potential in the upcoming arc bc he has the potential to be an extremely effective sorcerer with power output similar to gojo (with powerful commands like "die")
He's also got super speed and agility (per the databook) so I think he's being underestimated

Did people just forget about inumaki's fight against Geto? Dude blasted Geto into fucking ground. Yeah sure Geto got right back up but that's also because he's literally Geto. Can not fathom as to why he's so low on the list, it's absurd, not to mention his utility he provides.
I wish Gege uses the opportunity of having one of the strongest characters dying as a message to the students that they don’t have Gojo to protect them anymore so they’ll have to get stronger, really want some characters to have more development and that could be the perfect opportunity

I think nobara's black flash is more impressive because instead of just one point of contact (fist to enemy) its two points of contact (hammer to nail then nail to enemy)

I actually have a theory about how Yuta’s copy ability works. It’s hinted that Sukuna was at one point a cannibal, and we’ve seen him use cursed techniques that aren’t cleave or dismantle, so I wonder if *anybody* can copy a cursed technique by consuming part of another person? Yuta is able to use other cursed techniques because Rika consumed part of another person, which is why he’s only able to use the copied techniques when she’s summoned. This would also explain why Gojo said that Yuji will eventually be able to use Sukuna’s techniques, since Yuji has consumed a part of Sukuna. Just a little speculation, but I think it’s interesting to think about

@@elixieliza didn't Rika like consume some of his blood or something? I seem to remember part of that ability specifically requiring Rika to consume a small part of somebody before he can copy a technique. Maybe I'm making that up but I feel like other people have talked about that too.
@@Azekk_8 yeah, ryu speculated how yuta's technique works. Kenjaku specified before that yuta's ct is to copy without condition. So I would say he already copied anyone he encounters, but he needs to know how it works to actually use it. It just happened that he has rika to store everything
@@chrissgr3422 that makes sense too. That would also help to justify why Yuta was able to keep the title of special grade after breaking Rika's curse
@@Azekk_8 i think yuta's positiv cursed energy output and his large amount of cursed energy is the main reason that they registered him as Special grade. I'm not sure where Kenjaku stated that yuta can copy without condition, but the main point of the whole yuta Kenjaku battle is that kenjaku underastimates yuta so I doubt that the higher ups knew more than us because Kenjaku only knows as much as the higher ups did.
The whole specifics for the special grade status needs to be explained better because the higher ups didn't knew yukis cursed technique an regardless ranked her as Special grade. So I think the higher ups gave the special grade status to people who have a very high amount of cursed energy, who can do reversed ct and maybe some more lose specifics which can change. Yuki seems to have additional high knowledge of the world so that maby was a factor (or that she is an ex star plasma candidate). The guy who made panda also was registered special grade in the end but since the higher ups wanted his knowledge I'm pretty sure that this wasn't his CT but cursed manipulation which others could learn. So they registered him because of that and not because he is stronger than other grade 1 socerer.

People tend to think that yuta gets "powered up" whenever he summons rika. But honestly, if you think about it, yuta was the one who unconsciously placed the curse on rika to begin with. So strictly speaking, rika (the vengeful spirit) is actually a part of yuta's cursed technique. So yuta is technically much more powerful than most think.
I keep telling ppl that but no one listens😂 even if rika gets killed somehow Yuta will just make another one. I think he does it as a vessel for other techniques and strong partner to help him when needed

@@chadku yeah, this, by doing this Maki now has 0 cursed energy which in combination with achieving a sort of enlightenment makes her on par with one of the strongest people who were in the world, Toji Fushigoro (the dad of Fushigoro we know as part of our main trio), He too had 0 cursed energy and almost killed Gojo when Gojo was a teen, he also was an assassin.
@@wockyslush6927 in details maki's heavenly restriction was still incomplete.Instead of zero CE her CE was below that of an average non sorcerrer,thus she was given the physical strength comparable to that of reinforcing muscles with cursed energy like what megumi,todo and normal sorcerrers do,which is underwhelming compared to mechamaru's restriction which gave him country wide range.During the perfect preparation arc mai gave her life and all CE between her and maki(twins are considered one individual in jujitsu sorccery)allowing her to get zero CE like toji,she also made maki a sword that hits the soul directly ignoring defence.

My opinion, Inumaki is above Momo and Hakari is above Maki. Inumaki has been shown to be very athletic and could beat Momo pretty easily physically. Momo would also have to constantly hold back to make sure she is protecting her brain from curse speech. Hakari has been shown to be able to handle opponents significantly physically stronger than him when he fought Kashimo. Kashimo was even more difficult because his electric cursed energy, which still caused damage even if you blocked it, making it unblockable. Maki may be stronger, but has no ability as good as Kashimo’s unblockable attacks. It would be way easier for Hakari to defend with his rough cursed energy against someone he can block against and then just win after spamming domain expansion like he did with Kashimo.
True, but remember that Hakari hit a last second jackpot. He CAN beat Maki, but not consistently

Hakari's fight has been my favorite of the series so far. His technique and Domain Expansion are just so fun and different, the amount of twists and turns in that fight are also just really well done and engaging.
Hakari's sure hit effect is overloading information of his domain, which maybe means if maki is in hakari's domain she would not know the rules at all, just a funny thought
I think the Domain will abort to start because sure-hit effect is the major condition for Hakari to start his roll.

Charles and Kashimo have CE, and because of Hakari's fastest sure-hit domain factor, the roll will start regardless.
But after Sakurajima's arc, we know that anyone who hasn't any CE can't be targeted by sure-hit factor, thus ignoring the domain's property. In case of Hakari, he needs to sure-hit his opponent by infodump or else the roll will not started.
Toge should be higher, his showings in the manga were really impressive for the most part, he just fought a lot of really strong opponents (Geto, Hanami, Sukuna) and hasn't had many appereances so he hasn't really gotten the chance to shine, I hope that changes at some point

I'm surprised that the "Megumi's Domain can turn him into a Shadow Logia" misconception is still alive. It simply lets him create clones of himself from the shadows. That one time he seemingly melted vs Finger Bearer #2, was because it was a clone the spirit killed.
He did merged with his shadow though. Hide in it. And the clone is himself still,
He can definitely store things and hide in his shadows, but what does that actually mean? Is there a pocket dimension or is he merging objects and himself with the shadow? Kinda seems like sukuna is the only one who really knows and its involved in his plan
He can turn himself into shadows.He escaped into the shadows of his domain before deactivating it against reggie.
@@Euthafro no he creates like a pool of shadows beneath him so not exactly a pocket dimension but kinda just an enlarged space of liquid shadow that he can store himself and other things inside
@@Euthafro it is called an innate domain. When you expand a domain, you materialize the innate domain inside you and spread it outside into a separated barrier, a separated dimension literally. When Megumi stores thing in his shadow, he stores it in his innate domain and have to carry the weigh of it too. His curse technique connects the shadow to his domain, open the shadow dimension literally. Not sure about him materialize into a shadow though.
I would only place Inumaki over Momo and Mechamaru over Kirara because Momo & Kirara have unique abilities that are great for support in various ways, we haven't seen much of their destructive capabilities. On the other hand, we have seen more from Inumaki in terms of fighting prowess which makes me believe he could beat Momo in a fight, who doesn't have many strong attacks to counter with. Additionally, we have seen many feats from Mechamaru of both his destructive power and also his immense battle iq. The only thing that might stop Mechamaru from beating Kirara is his confusing cursed ability, however, I doubt Mechamaru's extreme intelligence couldn't figure Kirara's technique, similar to how Fushiguro figured it out.

Nobara's CT is crazy strong when you think about it, she just needs more defense and power to make use of it better. Sorta the same with Inumaki except that he needs way more cursed energy so that he doesn’t immediately destroy his throat in every fight with an even moderately strong foe. Just imagine what Yuta could do with Nobara’s cursed technique

Yuta seems somewhat like Lemillion. Like someone who would not go down without beating the strongest villain.
Im excited to see Yuji absorb Sukuna's abilities and sit confidently at the #1 most powerful sorcerer to ever be. I just can't fathom the absolute powerhouse that he would be if he were infused with the powers of a 20 finger sukuna + his own insane physical prowess, learning ability thats simply otherworldly and more importantly, what Sukuna's cursed ability would even be.

@@justawildgengar I'm pretty sure he'll die after becoming the strongest sorcerer, the way the story is going. Might be a case of retaking control of his body or even fighting Sukuna 1 on 1 and dying in the process. Eitherways, if Yuji does inherit Sukuna's abilities as he is supposed to, there's not really an argument that could be made against anyone being any more powerful, not even Gojo or Megumi considering Yuji was entirely superhuman before even having any cursed energy, and without any heavenly restrictions. A mini Toji with the abilities of Sukuna essentially.
And imo, thats fine considering he'll only reach it temporarily.
Ironically enough, I really dont like Demon Slayer, but the direction of the story and the end of the manga are somewhat similar, and I wouldnt be mad if we get a similar ending.
@@Bladings sukuna is just using yuji as his vessel. why would yuji inherits sukuna's abilities? also yuji most probably will die soon because in order to unseal gojo from the prison realm, yuji must be sacrificed because the only person that could help unseal gojo wants sukuna to die and the only way to do so is by killing off sukuna's vessel as well, which is yuji.
@@will-kk5gu Because Gojo literally said Yuji would inhereit Sukuna's abilities in like the first 10 chapters. Sukuna's curse energy is being imprinted on Yuji's body. Second, Yuji already died and came right back, its not exactly simple to kill him. Plus, they want SUKUNA dead, not Yuji, not even mentionning he is quite literally the protagonist. He's not dying before the end of the manga.

you putting inumaki that low is a crime. dude gets used as a punching bag, sure, but he also ends nearly every fight he's in within like 2-3 words. The prequel series proved this super well
Toge was literally doing solo missions by himself for awhile before the current storyline. He literally has had more feats on his resume than Panda (has only won one fight throughout the series which was against a puppet),and Momo (no experience in battle). He should've been a least higher than those 2.
Inumaki definitely deserves to be much higher on this list. Him taking as a semi first grade source was absolutely no fluke. Cursed speech is an extremely powerful technique which allowed him to blast away Hanami, a powerful cursed spirit even amongst the the special grades.
Considering not many of the other students have a way to counter cursed speech, I definitely see him beating a good few of the students above him in this list.
Every single sorcerer has a way to counter cursed speech. It is one of the easiest things for a sorcerer to do. CE blocks the ear.
This is why Inunaki is low ranked. Cursed Speech is only good against Curses. It's horrible for sorcerer fights.
honestly i loved Hakari and his technique instantly. just the idea that you can perpetually make yourself invincible and go all out physically sounds so fun and obviously strong as hell. especially since he can heal subconciously, meaning he doesn't even have to think or worry about anything. mixed with his jagged cursed energy and he becomes such a menace
Hakari beats Maki. It’s not even that hard to see this. If Maki fought Kashimo she loses. That’s a fact!!!
Remember that jjk isn't your typical shonen, bad match-ups greatly impact how fights go, and unfortunately Maki is a complete counter to hakari since she's not affected by domains

I really like the matchup of hakari vs toji and maki (infinite curse energy vs zero curse energy) it would be tough for both but i still think hakari could take the fight if he plays it smart but i will say that if maki and toji can go full out from the start they can kill hakari before he can fully get a jackpot.

A lot of this list is Wild. Inumaki being lower than Nobara and Momo is crazy. Kirara has had one fight and lost it, so him being this high when he's clearly a support character is weird. And Yuji MIGHT be stronger than Todo now but it sure hasn't been shown.

I agree with the ranking of this list. However, I'll disagree with your statement on Yuta being able to copy on the condition that he'd have to consume some part of a person's body or fluids. Probably for Rika, sure. But I think he can copy techniques without any conditions. He never needed to consume any part of Toge and Dhruv to use their techniques.

You know what's funny is how in the story Yuji is always compared to Maki but now Maki is on a different level.
During the fight with Sukuna, Maki was the only thing he was focusing on. In the manga, you could see him always looking at her and never at Yuji. When utahime frost them Sukuna said it was a wise to focus your ice more on Maki than Yuji.
It just shows how little worry he has when fighting Yuji for the second time.
Well for those who say Hakari is stronger than yuta, consider this first. Yuta said “Hakari would be stronger when on a roll” this means only when Hakari manages to get a jackpot enough times he could beat yuta, this is a probability case in which we know that it won’t happen 100% of the times. Meaning that if Hakari manage to get a strike of luck long enough to beat yuta only and only then he might, otherwise he won’t. So out of 5 times they fight yuta would win 4 of those. Second yuta has a self imposed restriction and that is because of his kind nature. Even Ryu said it himself yuta lack the selfishness that Sukuna has for him to be able to reach the heights of his potencial. So basically yuta holds himself down way to much and that is also related to the pseudo rika and why it only last for five minutes. He is not like Sukuna or even Gojo, he doesn’t have that self confidence. And third we still don’t know the full extent of his abilities , like his Domain expansion and even his mimicry, and how many techniques can he access to, we do know that he might even be able to copy Sukuna’s technique and why not even Hakari’s and Gojo’s.
also this is yuta talking to yuji who fought base yuta with no rika( i dont count the bit at the end cause yuta was just playing at that point) so i think what gege means to infer is that base yuta loses to jackpot rika but base yuta and rika beat jackpot hakari and all out yuta without rika beats jackpot hakari

That Nita guy, I feel that his ability could MAYBE be used in a way where he can block attacks simply by making any wounds he takes from oncoming attacks not get any worse. Like imagine the instant you have a knife start to cut your skin, it simply stops at a paper cut, and the knife cannot progress. Or someone gut-punches you so hard your liver would tear but instead you just end up with a mild rash. Feel like it could be OP in the right persons hands.

Toge was the only one that was able to damage Hanami when he was chasing him alongside Fushiguro and Kamo… if it’s working on Hanami (considering how much stronger Hanami was than every student present at the event) it’s working(and not just a weak command like blast away) on Mechamaru, Kamo, Momo, Nobara and Panda (considering that Hanami has a lot more cursed energy than these guys… it’ll take a lot less strain on Toge to issue more devastating commands on them than on Hanami)

Yuta's raw power outscales maki, add sky manipulation, cursed speech to immobilize maki and rika for additional dmg; maki's done for.
hakari beating on yuji wasnt really a way to scale him i don't think. He wasnt trying incredibly hard but yuji was proving a point taking the blows. He stood there and just accepted being hit to show his resolve.
That was not what he was trying to say in the video, the impressive thing is how much damage he made yuji take without even being serious, most characters wouldn’t be able to do that much to yuji

Nobara is underrated. she has every quality of an elite sorcerer. A greedy mindset, a crazy mind having no fear of death, a broken curse technique that by pass the durability of the opponent and directly damage the soul regardless of distance, hitting the black flash and got a grasp of the core of curse energy... The only thing she lacks is physical stats. Maybe stem from the lack of training because she was living in a peaceful countryside before. After a short period of training with the 2nd year, she got so much better. I imagine her domain can be similar to Mahito, hitting the target soul immediately without even having to aim. She has such a crazy potential.

Toge was a 2nd grade on his 1st year and a semi 1st in his 2nd being the highest ranked sorcerer in tokyos school at the time, real shame dude didn't have any moments to show off his skills like his fellow 2nd years Maki and Panda post goodwill event but instead bro just got amputated by Sukuna he ain't Yuji or Megumi levels of prodigy but dude was at Kamos being a semi 1st grades weight class who was a third year in where his blood manipualtion did less to Hanami than Toges curse speech albeit with alot less straint on the formers part

Rika could potentially beat Volume 0 Gojo while Toji was weaker than Year 2 Gojo, and Maki is = to Toji

Although he is a prodigy, I think he will be defeated by Kenjaku, who is a true jujutsu master who has lived for thousands of years and has 2 very dangerous techniques in one body: idle transfiguration and curse spirit manipulation (a technique that could tame Rika and make Kenjaku more powerful than he already is)
Todo is such a strong brawler that he defeated 5 grade 1 curses without using his cursed technique. Which is huge if you watch yuji Vs the insect curse in shibuya aganist which he only gained the upper hand with his stronger body and reflexes against a curse with 4 arms

I'm really curious how many people think that Hakari's domain would pose a serious threat to Maki when in fact there's nothing in the manga to show that, it's a little strange. It's already become clear that Hakari's domain just like everyone else needs someone else there and even with his guaranteed effect being the immense amount of information he throws at the opponent, still the domain wouldn't recognize Maki as a person to use. that he could hit some jackpot. In addition, even after the jackpot, Hakari with boost didn't show any feats as great as Maki's after understanding the celestial restriction, quite the contrary, he was still very vulnerable to Kashimo's punches and couldn't even dodge them (attacks that probably didn't even come close to the speed of sound), while Maki demonstrated to reach and even surpass a little the speed of sound in the fight against the curse Naoya, all this without even having to mention the sixth sense in relation to the environment she acquired and her super sword. In addition to the fact that even after the jackpot, Hakari didn't have enough offensive power to take down even Kashimo, having to beat him due to fatigue and cursed energy depletion, which Maki doesn't even have.
PS: That's because I didn't even mention that on the intelligence scale that Gege Akutami made, Hakari is easily among the dumbest students of the work and Maki among the smartest.
I agree on the domain expansion point however mentioning kashimo is pointless. We dont know how maki stacks up to kashimo. We dont know who is faster, who is more durable e.t.c .
And if we going to give maki equal stats to toji. Toji is around 3 finger sukuna(in speed) whereas yuta should be around 15 finger sukuna and we do know that yuta and hakari are somewhat rivals. So if anything speed seems to go to hakari

It is said that Toji is equivalent to 3 fingers of Sukuna in speed really, but the comparison of Yuta with a 15 fingers Sukuna is not equivalent to any specific status but in general, besides being an obvious exaggeration (just like Toji's) considering the Yuta so far has not shown to have anything in its arsenal as dangerous as the 15-fingered Sukuna had. Maki, for now, has more speed feats than Hajime and Hakari combined, even with the Jackpot thing, in fact, she has more feats even than Yuta himself, so up to this point this serves as a comparison, although Maki being faster than post jackpot Hakari doesn't mean she is faster than Hajime with his secret technique.
