Someone who is all in like that and pulls it off is Erick Henderson. He absolutely shreds everything he plays from classical to rock.
I think they are doing all of those movements for themselves, and that's why it looks real.

Great analysis! You will see a lot of that right hand jut on the playing of Czech guitarist Petra Polackova too! And I would surely find it amusing if you make an analysis of her as well 😊😅

Notice that his left arm move before the hand. That’s the correct use of the arm. You need to present the finger nearest the touch. And you have a very short time to relax.

    Great Videos! Thanks for sharing.
I would be very interested in watching some of your ideas about Eliot Fisk (especially his left hand coordination), Mateusz Kowalski or Max Müller.

Hi! What are examples of new school technique vs old school technique? Not sure what you mean by previous techniques that aren't relevant any more. Thanks and good video!

Good question. There’s not really a definitive answer but many old school players utilize things such as more rest stroke and a more elevated plucking hand wrist. It’s common to see many players today use a lot (if not all) free stroke and maintain a much flatter plucking hand wrist. Marcin has such an amazing consistency of sound that I assumed he didn’t use much rest stroke. After seeing how much he does actually use it I was pretty blown away.
