Hey Mike this was a wonderful and very relaxing vlog, I love the fact that your subtitles are bigger and more simplified. Enjoying your work keep it up! God Bless.
Shout out to all the Zimbabweans in the house We see you from here...... Zimbabweans let's gather here and show support to Mike... In his tone, Mike....
"This is getting serious" then 15:42 is diabolical 😂😂😂😂 Salute to you Mike, been away for many months studying but now got more time, congratulations on you marriage and baby. Major salute.
Hey Mike, It's your South African brother again. Just wanted to say thanks for another informative video as always. Say hi to Nyce and the baby. Stay safe and blessed
Wow, as someone who is learning Chinese, it's interesting to hear pretty simple phrase which google translate will only make complicated. At 13:39 she said 每个工作不一样吧 (it will depend on the job)(every job not same, right), but if you put this or similar english text into google translate, it won't give you this simple phrase :)
You remind me of Andy Lau...same facial bone structure and eyes, and smile.❤❤❤ i am Chinese from Trinidad & Tobago. I have never been to China, but you are there on my behalf.
Loved this video. This is good for persons who still see china as a bit of a mystery - it shows us that we can relax about visiting. However, Mike, you have a great positive aura and I believe most of those people pick it up, so they are readily receptive and warm to you. I also notice that you are quite diplomatic and skillful when engaging people who are strangers. Maybe you should highlight that so foreigners grasp the understanding of the benefits of diplomacy and how to gently disarm people who are concerned to an absolute 'foreigner' in their town. Nice knew what she was doing when she chose you as her husband.
Mike, I loved the talk with the man at the toothbrush table. Question: What makes your spoken Mandarin standard to him? Also, loving the family vlogs. ❤
I am South African 🇿🇦 i worked with some Chinese people i use to think they were racist but they actually chilled. I was born in apartheid i know racism very well . But i now treat people based on individuality because anyone can be racist or mean.
I don't think the Chinese like anybody. I'm African American, no wish to go to China. But I do know that China and Africa have a different kind of relationship. Many Chinese in Africa, and many Africans in China.
I know many African Americans who are happy living in China. What you have to remember is the culture (personality) of the people of China and the people of USA are on separate ends of the rainbow. You just have to acknowledge what the differences are and see how you can flex towards it. I travelled throughout Europe, and in Italy, Spain and France the people were overly nice and helpful once I spoke and they realized I was not from the USA. They felt that Americans weren't always 'kind sounding' and tend to give them a hard time in their own country. It had nothing to do with colour/race; just the interpersonal behaviour. I'm from beautiful Jamaica with family all over, including USA, and I'm used to the culture of Americans - it doesn't bother me, in fact, I love the boldness and outspoken nature of Americans. However some other cultures don't know how to interpret and handle it. 🙏 Peace!
Many Africans go to study in Chinese universities every year. They learn how to speak Chinese and enjoy living there. I'm not a fan of living in China permanently because of the language barrier but I would like to visit China someday.
More than once in this, and other videos, some Chinese people have commented that your family must be rich. Why do you think they have that impression?
Another great vlog, Mike. You’re allowing me to travel without the expense. 😊

Chinese people are taught to dislike foreigners
Once you added America in your comment I just knew you are about to speak propaganda. Don't believe everything the news in your country says. Trust me
Well done black china
