Really hope cara becomes popular!
Me too! So far the numbers are very promising and using it is very fun
It’s already doing really well and is so small artist friendly. I hate that so many platforms have gotten rid of the options to see “latest” posts because that’s where you going to find those beginner artists looking for motivation or underrated advanced artists who never got a chance to make it a career. And if I wanna look at big artists, I can just move back to the “popular” feed.
@@xXprettyxkittyXx THIS! I haven't had this much fun discovering artist in a long long time.
Oh yeah. I´m just so so sick of Instagram. I´m definitely switching to Cara. Amazing 💚👍
It honestly makes me exhausted and I hate to admit I have actually spent money on it just to hope my work gets seen. Have fun on Cara!
I'm not an artist myself, even though I do play around with the idea of becoming one. I really hope Cara stands out as the space for showcasing art work in a more creditable form. Great vídeo!
Thank you so much! I really hope so too, currently I'm having a lot of fun on the platform and I'm so happy to have a place where I can discover SO MANY new artist. Good luck on your journey, my best advice is to keep going and remember to always have fun!
You feel like such a lovely person! Thank you for the video
Awwww thank you so much 🩷 I really believe in showing exactly who I am in my videos, so I'm glad it's coming across positively. I really hope this one helped and go have fun on Cara!
Thank you for this video! This convinced me that it is worth the time to join this trend.
I'm really glad I was able to help! I kinda see it as, we can send a message whist looking at amazing artwork at the same time, it's a win win!
This is a really informative video so thank you. I was seeing stuff pop up about Cara but still wasn't sure what it was. - Rozay
I'm really glad this has helped! I wanted to make a video covering most of it's story and functions currently so people can know if the platform is suitable for them.
@@kirstteas Yes it was very good. On the same note, I just watched a vid by HalusIDoArt saying Cara may be running out of money to keep Cara up and functioning. Not sure if you knew or if it is something you would like to look into but thought I'd share. 🫡
@mangocafeart oh no! I'll do some searching into this, I try my best to keep up with post made by Zhang and haven't seen anything stating this currently, but as said will have a search!
so glad i came across this video this site looks super cool, installed it right away!
Thank you! I really hope you enjoy the platform as much as I have been
Hi, first of all nice vid! 😊
I wanted to ask, you aren't active on Artstation, right? Because a lot of features on Cara are actually very similar or directly inspired by Artstation. But just as a little fun fact. For example the "Jobs" and "Explore" page are exactly like on Artstation, also that you can add availability on your about page and the Portfolio options as well. ;)

I've already been on Artstation (besides IG, now also Cara), so Cara felt pretty much like home for me right away. 😃
It's like a mix of Artstation and half-IG half-Twitter functionalities.
Also since you mentioned DeviantArt: I definitely cannot recommend it anymore, not for artists (which is ironic)! DA has gone really downhill and also very pro ai.
Artstation = better than DeviantArt regarding ai, but yeah.. Cara atm = best option for artists who want the social aspect 😉👍
Wait, people really said that Cara has AI on it bc of Glaze?? 🤔😂 Just bc they don't know what it is? That's ridiculous.
In fact I think every artist who's posting online should know what Glaze and Nightshade are by now. For their own art and for feeling safer against ai.
7:04 Oh yeah... DeviantArt has also gone DOWNHILL (and pro ai), I definitely can't recommend it anymore - especially not when you're an artist (ironic i know).
Yeah you we are not going anywhere unfortunatelly 😅 There is a hype "migration" every other year (was it Vero the last time?), I'm tired
Honestly fair, I missed the Vero stuff completely but have defiantly seen stuff like this happen. I do however think Cara is different though due to the name and mission behind it and it's also a well crafted platform that actually serves art. We will see though
To put my two cents in.. So far i always avoided posting the less than mediocre stuff i do on any platform. The latest hype about Cara made me start posting my stuff there. But as you said. We'll see.
