      It would be nice if in the future you could move the head completely into the frame. Somewhat it felt a bit hard to look at in the beginning, because your hands where so far up. I think it would be nice if it would be more centered. Besides that, very nice video. Clear explanation and not to quick. You have a lovely voice.

      Me too. Just tried it on my 8 year old's hair. Couldn't do it. I'll have to try again later. I was going to do it so it stayed up while doing fireworks for the 4th of July.

    O.m.g. you have no idea! I have never been able to do a French braid, even after 37 years of failed attempts on my own hair. I've had a daughter for 3 years and have lived with the mom guilt of not being able to do one for her. I've watched dozens of videos on RUclips to no avail. I just came across your video and after one watch I FREAKING DID IT!!! I never leave comments, but I'm so excited I just had to THANK YOU for this simple, easy, fantastic how to video. 😍🙌🎉

      Way back used to do it for my own hair.. when it came many years later in doing it for my daughter, I was some fingers n thumbs.. takes time to retrain the brain.

      Taking the strand from one side into the middle then pulling a “horizontal” section from the corresponding side into the middle with that strand then repeating on the other side...that just makes so much more sense then taking a chunk of hair with you when putting one strand into the middle. I don’t know why I always had it explained to me so wacky. Thank you!

    THANK YOU! I have literally tried to french braid for 15 years now and always thought I was doing it wrong but didn't know what I was doing wrong. Well come to find out I was putting the "new" hair into the outer section instead of the middle. I'm so happy and proud that I can finally french braid!

      SAME! It’s called a Dutch braid lol!! So we’ve been doing Dutch braids! Which are cool too, but now we know adding to the middle part of the hair is a French braid!

      @@EverydayHairInspiration Well I can NOT do it myself because I get weird neck cramps when I try to raise my arms like that. It is crazy, I know. I can do my granddaughter's - no problem! So I watched your video and its a good one! Showed my husband, hoping he could do mine. He watched a few times - but he still can't do it. I am dying laughing. But good video!

    My partner was never taught how to French braid, nor was ever sent to school with her hair braided or done all neat, so if I have to learn every style of braiding, styling, hair care, etc. I will because she deserves the best, thank you so much for this video!!!     This has been super helpful in remembering how to do these braids. My kiddo's had her hair short for a while, only growikg it out more recently and I found I COMPLETELY forgot how to French braid.

    This is so helpful thank you!!! I can only French braid on my self right now and some how it always turns into a Dutch braid halfway threw, well not anymore!! I just bought a Manikin to practice on and I am super excited to try this out!! I work with medically complex kids and always Rely on my coworkers to do hair. I have always wanted to learn and this seems like the perfect time.

    Might be more helpful if you could show it on your own head as it's more difficult to do when you can't see and your hands are twisted!
