Bane!!! 2024 needs you!
They’re playing Furnacefest in Alabama
Living in a small city in Mexico I got into sxe scene back in 97 and this was the first band i related to . few years later 2001 I had the opportunity to move to LA all by myself leaving behind everything i knew (family, friends, ) and the only thing that keep me going was every hxc show i was able to go every weekend. I saw these guys a lot of times (glass house-showcase-troubadour-the smell) and every time was a great show full of energy and the negative aspect to be so far away from home was not there anymore i felt i was home again .
Thanks for keep the scene alive ...
live for this shit man ...I'm Mexican to bro props
+owen j. that was cheesy as fuck
+xMallNinjax1 fuck you man, might've been cheesy, but it was real
that's powerful man. I'm right there with you. in 2010 I returned from Afghanistan, my 3rd deployment of the " war of terror ". shit! where the hell did I fit in???? hardcore gave me a home. and then I heard this album, heard this song. Goddamn I cry every time I hear it. when I finally saw them play in Atlanta, I just stood there, screamed the lyrics with them and cried my eyes out. myself I will say this. 1) hardcore is far more than music. 2) a high power tell s me that Bane's purpose is far from over....I hope they realize that and continue to allow that high power to speak through them.
+MrBubRubb why is is crazy, because he found something that most people search there whole lives for. People are to shallow to see what lies right in front them. This band changed my life and countless others, they singlehandedly rekindled a scene that breathes life into so many. However. very few get it, so very few; you know what, I'm ok with that
It took me years of listening to this song and living a benevolent lifestyle to grasp why they had to shout goodbye after saying they were not good at it. Today this song makes sense to me. Sad to state I had took a few shots of whiskey to calm my nerves. Some situations arrive so new to me it's incredibly hard to cope at times. I had the strength of friend to get me through it. I'm blessed for everything I've learned in life. Thank you bane for the power and understanding, and clarity when I really needed it. Live on
They're back
This is by far one of the best hardcore bands to do it. I saw them fifteen years ago it was one of the greatest live shows I’ve ever seen.
RIP Stu, Cancer ruins everything man.
This is one of those rare bands that should just tour til they drop dead like the Ramones.
R.I.P Stu
"A wasted life is worse than death"... Goddamn that hit hard.
Just such a subjective thing though
I started listening to Bane in the late 90's, I lived near the NH/MA border so I got to see them live a bunch of times. I'll be 40 yrs old in a few months and not afraid to admit hearing this song for real chokes me up. They are fucking legends.
36 y/o now and I started listening to Bane since late 2000s ( yes I’m too late to the party), this song still chokes me up every time when I listen to it.
Holy shit. Good ole Bane. Use to listen to them religiously when I was a teenager. Pushing 32 in December 2020. FeelsOldMan
with you all the way, i'll be 32 in dec 2020, used to blast bane regularly, this particular song I dedicate to a former co-worker/friend who left the job when this song came out.
As a 36 year old, I would like to adopt both of you as little brothers
Into my 40's and have been listening since I first heard can we start again. Was so frustrated with the state of hardcore and that song resonated with me so much. Each record got better and better. Now my son listens to them with me.
I see them in august, im so happy.
just got back from tonights show.
holy fuckballs.
thank you bane for all the memories.
What other band could have ever touched the world class integrity on display here. Bane's music is what discipline sounds like. Bane's music is what refusing to settle for less in life sounds like. God speed, protect your values and your values will protect you.
Right here right now
It's never felt more real than this
Right here right now
The depths of my heart
I've been abandoned my whole life
Sad songs, early deaths
Bones piled to my knees
It's always been the minor-chords for me
So if it's the last scene
Make it a bloody scene
Because when I die
I want it to be because someone hates me
With every fiber of their being
I won't carry you in my heart
You are my heart
My everywhere and everything
The walls I'll climb and the wars I'll fight
Loved you in the deepest way
Became the man who I am today
You made me feel just like a hammer
In a world lined with nails
I'm not walking away from here
With a bunch of things I still need to declare
A wasted life is worse than death
It's up to you to figure out the rest
This is my final backward glance
I've never been much good at saying goodbye
💔
🖤🎭
Perfect song, perfect video. You guys will be fucking missed.
biggest loss for the scene since forever.
Marvin Budka The scene always changes and unfortunately time/life moves on but i'm pretty sure that bane's songs won't be the biggest loss for our lives :)
fitting that it ended with Bobby looking unhappy. He was always really stoked on touring it seemed, the last time they came to Pitt he was optimistic that they would return, the rest of the band... not so much. fucking Bane man. Love this shit.
Nothing but the deepest love for you guys, and everyone in the scene. Good or Bad, you either teach me who i wish to be, who who i never wish to be. Thank you for all you've done in the scene and for staying true. I know i speak for a lot of people when i say that you had a huge influence on me growing up that i wasn't even aware of till i got older. The love i had for you guys growing up is nothing compared to the love and understanding i have now. Carry on ladies and gents, i will see you April 11th at chain for a hell of a goodbye.
Obviously influenced by youth of today's vocals
Tanner bucellato you goin to chain the 19th for em again? i sure fuckin am
Just amazing, perfect end to a perfect album.
Such an amazing song. And Calling Hours. Give me the chills everytime
This song will never grow old or less meaningful
Only had the chance to see them preform twice, but both shows still stand out as being the best I have ever seen. I'll never forget, the second time I saw them I was up front singing my face off along with everyone else and Aaron grabbed me by the arm and pulled me on stage to sing with him. One of the best feeling moments of my life. When I heard this was going to be their final record it was pretty hard to deal with. But no matter what when I need something to cheer me up, throwing in my copy of Give Blood always gets me right pumped. So much love and respect for this band. Thanks for the memories!
still in my rotation, love you guys
It is sad, this is one of my favorites by them I love how much power yet emotions they poured into this I love the part in the end where they are just screaming “This Is My Final Backward Glance!” So beautiful but so sad
This will be SO nostalgic live.

Fuck man... Every time I listen to this song by the end I have tears rolling down my face.

Finally got to see them the other day with Title Fight and it was an amazing show. You can bet I'll be seeing them next time they're back in NY cause who knows how many times they'll be back before they break up
bane is life..
a wasted life is worse than death, its up to you to figure out the rest
A wasted life, is worth than death. It's up to you to figure out the rest.
That's a goddamn tearjerker if I've ever heard one
We need Bane. And wake up of this routine nightmare. Cheers to all the hardcore community.

😂🤡
This isn't very good. Pretty sure they've been beating this poor horse for years.
Im not sure what your hearing but your comment belongs to someone who should not have even pressed play on this vid, this band has changed countless lives and brought so much heart to a scene that very well could have been dead long ago if it wasn't for them. They deserve respect and should be carried out on our shoulders as the curtain closes.
There have been bands I've wanted to see play their final shows. MCR, Armor For Sleep, The Chariot, The Mongoloids, etc. I had planned to see them, but didn't have the money, or couldn't get to the venue, but I WILL be there for Bane's final show, whenever and wherever that may be.
Matthew Heckman While that may be true, they were a big part of my music in middle school. Shit, I haven't actively listened to Linkin Park since Meteora, but I'll go see them if it's a farewell tour.
Matthew Heckman what's up with people thinking they need to express their negative fucking opinions everywhere..? are you unhappy and feel the need to rain on everyone else's parade everywhere you go to bring them down to your level or what? i seriously don't fucking get it anymore. when i see people talk about something they like, even if i fucking hate it, i let them enjoy themselves because im not a selfish bitter cockbag. why are human beings so pointlessly shitty to each other ..for fuck's sake
The real Kings
