@@schytarxd356 no,they are not scratchy at all. furthermore,you will destroy them if you lube them. lube the springs only and don't touch the rest of the mechanism. that's what i got from my experience.
@thockclack175 they're SO scratchy. Insanely overhyped switch in my opinion. I've tried dozens of different break in procedures with a 3d printed machine and the best was polishing with diamond paste. Even then you're better off polishing mx blacks. When these came out they were cool, but now there's much better long pole switches.
the standard ones are 500 dollars for full alu and 585 dollars for brass mid section and alu top and bottom section. you just have to be quite lucky to win the raffle to be able to buy one in the first place
This video is what made alot of people enter the keyboard community for those who are watching and are not a keyboard enthusiast I don't really reccomend you to get in this hobby you will spend alot of money on keyboards the more you go deeper the more you will feel pain if you wanna get in the community stop at the 3rd stage but if you wanna go deeper that's your choice but I'm just suggeting people not to go deep to the community.
I honestly don't know what all the hype over these switches and the board is about. I'm going to be honest, for Nk creams these sound REALLY good, but that's cause they were actuated and broken into A LOT. The board itself sounds a bit hollow/pingy and there is still quite a big amount of scratch. Other than that this build was pretty good, I just wish people didn't go crazy over the creams because of this in the past 2 years. Yes, my comment is late, but I was there in the stream while Taeha was building this. It has just really annoyed me when people had been saying creams were the "best". Anyway, this build was still really awesome and hella cool.
Yes the switches sound a bit scratchy, but the keyboard actually sounds really good played through phone speakers lol. Its when you use earphones that it sounds hollow and scratchy. However the space bar is very good.
@@ee1yd as in sounds more hollow, like there's more gap between the plate and the case if that makes sense! without dampening it sounds very loud and not as soft as with this keyboard
@@techalex1992 they are not bad at all, most people say that they are very scratchy unlubed (and still scratchy even after lubed) but that is because they take some times to set in and break down. give the switches about 1 month and they should sound amazing and feel amazing. also, i find using a lighter springs help as well!

This keyboard is worth $3500 for several reasons: 1) The keycaps used a rare GMMK Japanese version that is very expensive. 2) The keyboard plating has a rainbow color that is made by having a magical metal pick up a rare 1 in 500 day rainbow from Nigeria Falls. 3) The positioning of the keyboard makes one's armpits sweat during gaming. Good for girls as it collects gamer girl sweat for sale.

One of my favorite switches
I built Tofu60 with DIY'ed silicone dampener and cream switches - sounds almost identical (slightly more hollow), really happy with it!
How is it more hollow with a silicone dampener?
