Listening to Dire Dire Docks always felt like being underwater. I love laying at the bottom of a swimming pool and just imagine this song playing. Hearing this underwater theme now captures that feeling of being in a pool and swimming underwater. (I love swimming in water.)

At the same time, you need to release air from your nose; it's like deflating yourself so you don't float up. When you feel you released enough air, immediately pinch your nose with one of your hands; this is so the water doesn't go up your nose, and paaaaain. ¡Voila! You are laying at bottom of swimming pool. Then it's a matter of how long you can hold your breath until you need air. If you do practice, please do so in the shallow water area; the surface is quick to access.

this is a game ive never played until my late teens since it was made before i was even born, and despite this im already feeling nostalia now, 7 years later at 23, almost 24. i hate existing almost perpetually, but this song as well as a few others are what keeps me together... but fuck man, this song makes me feel calm yet sad, and this is coming from someone who's numb a bunch of the time. i want to go back to simpler times, younger years. but there's so little control you have over your life. now there's a bit more control; not a lot but a bit more, but everything just feels like its crushing me under everything we need to deal with as adults. typing this out makes me think about mario in this way... on one hand, hes able to explore these magical worlds within the canvases, vibrant bustling and active lands in and out of the mushroom kingdom, with an almost-carefree feel. However, he knows of his responsibility, to protect the princess and the kingdom, despite how easy it would be to just wander and explore without worry or stress. maybe he's tired like me. puts on a face and handles his responsibility, knowing it won't end and knowing it will weigh on him for as long he'll remember and exist. maybe mario fears and is terrified of the inevitable moment when, eventually, he'll use up his last 1-up, and then face the darkness. maybe he's scared of when that time comes, but he'll still welcome it like he's accepting his fate. i know i feel like that... stuck in this shitty point of limbo where i dont want to exist, but at the same time i dont want to be gone from existence where my memory in others eventually disappears, and i'm gone for good, as a nobody, a forgotten memory. this probably sounds like a bunch of unrelated crap... i guess i needed to just air this out in some way and for some reason my mind went here due to music

I used to go to the community center to swim as a kid. Large indoor pool, With some BIG speakers mounted to the ceiling…. This is how I remember the music sounding at the pool. Relaxing, deep, focused on the low end.
I remember being 4-6 years old just having a good time on SM64 ds. This music felt ethereal, or otherworldly to me. I thank Nintendo for all the nostalgia and memories they have gave me, and maybe even for future generations.

I have never played any original Mario or overall Nintendo games by myself, only a few Mario flash games and the classic Mario Bros with dad's friend's son who owned a cartridge console, but I gotta say this franchise has some really solid soundtrack.
Why do I want to pass on into heaven at this moment? The music… It calls to me from deep within my memories and my heart. I feel that I can truly relax. That I can let go. That everything in existence, no matter how chaotic, no matter how incredible, no matter how terrible, will all wash away into the waves of time and nothingness, eventually being forgotten by all but God Himself. That because of that fact, I can rest. Truly rest. I can have my spirit float off into the unknown, the endless abyss of the ocean.

Not yet, though I have had a few people ask for Aquatic Ambience, so I have 100% been considering it! Maybe next year as I do plan to do more music content. As of now, I have to finish a lot with Twitch and other projects, so that is currently taking priority.
I remember my dad giving me an N64 in my sixth birthday and I did play Mario 64 but it took me a while to get to the stage this music is perfect thank you I'm a little sick while saying this but when I listen to this it always calms me down thank you very much and I hope I feel better
