Having had a profound conversion 16 years ago during a pilgrimage where God intervened through our Blessed Mother to save my marriage, I often thought about the mysterious way of God's calling. My marriage was beyond salvageable, having led a promiscuous life with frequent trips to strip clubs and red districts. I was truly a prodigal son brought back to life through God's infinite love and mercy. The instrument of God's leading me back was through the priests with good Confession and Eucharistic Adoration. We are living in a time of moral crisis and need holy clergies to lead us back to Christ, not political correctness.
I was an anti-Catholic. I was raised as such. I prayed at the age of 31 for God to lead me to truth wherever it leads. One day I felt completely stirred by the holy spirit to attend and ultimately join the church. I now attend 2/week a Latin mass parish. How God works is just amazing! I pray the church abandon the Worldly desires of late and return to tradition. When I was struggling with the real presence in the Eucharist I prayed God show a miracle. And a month later, on my birthday, a Eucharistic miracle in the USA occurred on March 5.
You are blessed. Glad you found your way home. Just hope all bishops like this holy one have the courage to stick with Jesus and tradition and rid the church of this anti Christian 'doctrin'

Dear Cardinal Muller I can totally relate to your teaching as the truth as a catholic now in my early seventies. I was catechised by Mercy nuns until i was 9 yrs & then wonderful Dominican sisters in Ireland.
We most definitely knew the 10 commandments & much more.

A very wise guide to the true faith. God bless him. He could have made an excellent Pope after Pope Benedict. In this time of turmoil in the faith, the Church needs men like him.
Cardinal Müller gives a clear statement and it is fully correct. We, here in Germany, are heading straight forward into socialism, politicians and most people do not give anything about religion, but they want to reform the Catholic church into their own way. The problem is, that the church here is jumping on this train and copying the government and the vatican sometimes is not helping a lot here, having similar statements or stating things not clearly enough. There are still good bishops and priests but it does not look good at the moment. Vatican must be clear and threaten the Catholic church of Germany with schism and change these people at the top if necessary.
A LOT of people want this Cardinal for their Pope! Come Lord Jesus...Pax Christi!

It's worth mentioning that His Eminence is a friend of Fr. Gutierrez, and he advocates and promotes Liberation Theology. They have published three books together. This shows promoting preferential option for the poor is different from advocating socialism, and criticizing super capitalism, a term that His Eminence uses, is completely in line with the Dogma. Hope we all learn this from His Eminence.
