They will be offering a discount to owners of the Arrow apparently (though I’m not sure how much that discount will be); if it’s a decent discount, I’m sure that will persuade many people who are bit on the fence (like yourself). Nice! Funnily enough, I very nearly recorded this out of Burning Blue Designs White Waltham haha (but saving that for another day). I’ll definitely pick the Warrior up myself, just for old times sake. All the best! : )
I live in Maidenhead and spend most weekends at West London Aeroclub pottering about 😊 I do have to say, I was a little disappointed with the Burning Blue Designs EGLM. While I am chuffed they recreated my home airport, it isn't the best rendition of the airfield in accuracy. Now if you have a look at the Pilot Plus Booker, that is a work of art, and highly accurate.
Oh really? That’s a shame. . . Haven’t had a chance to look for myself yet, but I’ve been enjoying their other stuff so far. I’m hoping to rope in a friend that flies out of Waltham, to help with the review (though finding a time when we’re both free is proving tricky). I did see some vids of Booker. I really should pick it up. Flew out of there a bit myself many years ago. . . : )
@@IntotheBlueSimulations With the Pilot Plus Booker, they really have got the buildings looking correct with the right textures and age of the buildings. Pilot Plus do have a track record though of getting whatever they design spot on, and to the highest standard. So it may be a bit unfair to compare the two airfields. The BBD White Waltham, while everything is roughly in the right place, the grass strips are as they should be, the textures for the buildings look wrong. Far too modern. Understood. I have been to Waltham myself, but only to the clubhouse building and then straight to the flight line more or less. So the bits I (vaguely) remember looked fairly true to life in the scenery, but it sounds like you know the airfield much more intimately Chris. Haha, well there you go! I did not know that about Maidenhead United XD Totally off topic - but was it Maidenhead that has the massive indoor water park haha? I seem to recall that being a thing many many years ago. . . All the best : )
I can understand that this aircraft is interesting if you have done training in one but personally I don't see any reason to buy this when I already have the Arrow III.
Mr misterno What you're talking about? The warrior is different to the arrow and its a proper training aircraft, I fly it in reality and it will be a supplement to my training. Can't wait to get it!! Warriors are very popular all over the world. Look outside your window at the sky .. most ga planes in training are 152s, 172s, anD WARRIORS.
Whilst I know a few people (including me initially) are unsure why you would want this one - but I think I might get it. The other Arrows are great - but sometimes I don't want to think so much - rpm, throttle etc... The C152 is easy and fun to fly. I wonder if this would fulfil a similar role. Fixed prop (low wing?) with good navigation that's not super fast. And with JF flight dynamics and realism - this is on my list. Also - I now enjoy shouting long with you "clear prop". great video as always! thank you.
Indeed Mark. I’m sure for many, this isn’t going to offer much that the Arrow III doesn’t already, but it certainly has its own charm. The Warrior is definitely the Piper equivalent of the C152 / 172 and for me, I will enjoy the change of pace of flying it. Pootling along at 90kts. Simple to operate as you say, but still a capable platform (with the GTN750 for example) and the excellent flight model / systems from Just Flight that we’ve come to expect. JF will also be offering a discount on the Warrior, to owners of the Arrow. I’m not sure how much this will be yet, but I’m sure that will persuade a few more people to take the plunge. Haha, thanks very much, all the best - “clear prop”! ; )
Well I can appreciate JF creating this plane for the simple fact that this is the closest plane in the simulator to represent what in training in IRL. Now I'll be able to simulate my flights and practice.
Thanks very much Dave, glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, I’m looking forward to the Warrior as well, for those slow and cruise-y VFR hops. There should be a discount for previous owners of the Warrior and also for owners of the MSFS Arrow (not sure how much that discount will be yet though). Agreed, once again Just Flight have done an excellent job with the engine sounds! : ) Cheers again, all the best!
It is a damn god mod. I presume / believe it’ll go payware eventually, but I’d almost certainly still pick it up. I just tried it out in the M20R (should be a vid ok that fairly soon), an excellent (and much needed) addition to the sim! Cheers : )
Nice! How’s it been going thus far? Glass cockpits are somewhat of an anathema to me haha (albeit they are far more user friendly and capable platforms - I’d certainly prefer to have one, if the proverbial hits the fan in the real world). I just prefer the character that steam gauges bring. To each their own though of course! ; ) Definitely worth giving the GTN750 that was mentioned a go. It’s freeware for now and very good overall (a little bit fiddly to set up and you will need a Navigraph subscription to get the most out of it). I will hopefully be featuring it in a video soon. Cheers again! All the best : )
Great video. The aircraft is looking good. Can't wait to add it to my PA28 collection. You mentioned they were tweaking the flight model but it looked ok on the video!
Thanks again Geebee : ) Yeah, the flight model already seems pretty solid, though I haven’t tried a stall etc yet. It’s pretty standard from JF, that they still have few things to tweak when I get access to an early version. On the original Arrow for example; they were still tweaking the sounds - which seemed unnecessary to me at the time, as the sounds were already excellent. Nevertheless, they were even better on release haha! I’m sure whatever they continue to tweak, will be all the better for it. You shouldn’t have to wait too long before this one becomes available anyway ; ) Cheers, all the best!
👍 hey, every time you show us a new aircraft I get a strange feeling😁 I say Yes my CC says NO. I say Yes my CC shouts NO NO. I win🤣🤣🤣 Thank you for the brilliant first impression. Another must buy. Take care
Hahaha, well I can only apologise. . . If it’s any consolation, I’ve been picking up these Just Flight PA28s myself, so my credit card is feeling the pain also. In fairness though, thanks to Just Flight and their various discounts (of which there should also be one for the Warrior also), the credit card isn’t hurting quite as much as it might otherwise be XD I’ll have to put a financial warning in my videos, like they do when you apply for a loan at the bank! : P Thanks as always : )
Oh, is that so Jason? Great to know, thank you! In previous sims, there was always a separate control. I suppose this would work fine on something like the Warrior, but not ideal on an any aircraft which have both Carb Heat and Anti-Ice systems I suppose (in case you only want to operate one and not the other). Again though, very useful information, thanks very much! All the best : )
Great vid as ever and nice to see it performing in its training role. I didn't bother with this one in FSX or P3D as I was too immersed in the A2A Cherokee to see any real point. I think taking this over to MSFS is a good move by Just Flight as it appears to fill that less hurried and complex GA aircraft niche very well. Will get this one for sure.
Thanks again Terry! I was always a bit torn with the Cherokee / Warrior in FSX / P3D haha. As usual, the A2A Cherokee was the gold standard, if you wanted a single-engined Piper, but I could never quite fall in love with the aesthetics of it (not a fan of that constant chord wing etc, or the older cockpit really). I’m not sure I didn’t (shamefully) spend more time in the Carenado PA28 actually haha. I did in fact pick up the Just Flight Warrior in P3D, but only flew it once, as MSFS came out very shortly thereafter (I don’t remember it being anywhere near this good mind you!). Agreed though, personally I think this will make for a nice addition to MSFS, for some more sedate cruising. . . Cheers : )
If Just Flight is gonna spew an entire family of PA-28 they should do so all at once. So you can have your pic. I have both of their Arrows, and a Carenado Arrow. I can't see any reason to downgrade to this. They would be better off with something else so we have something fresh and different to look at. Watched the video because I like your style. The plane was about as interesting as pocket lint.
It's about choice. Some might want this and not the Arrow's. We're also working on a number of other things already so there will be no end of fresh and different things for you to look at. Check out our In Dev section on our website for details of anything that's coming soon.
Well you can’t win em all I suppose ; ) Personally I’m quite keen for the Warrior, having flown it previously, but I totally understand where you’re coming from. I’m sure there are others who’ve had their fill of PA28s for the time being (then again, I know there are quite a few looking forward to the Warrior also). As always, horses for courses. I think JF (as they mention) have been working on the PA28 family in quick succession, whilst continuing to work on other projects in the background. They have an F28 in the works, that I’m quite looking forward to for example. Anyway, I’m certainly not trying to sell anyone anything they don’t want! Thank you very much for watching nonetheless, much appreciated. Hopefully I can show you something a little bit more in your wheelhouse next time! : ) All the best!
I think many feel the same Payt. It’s an excellent product in its own right, but of course it is quite similar to the Arrow. Just Flight will in fact be offering a discount to owners of the Arrow (I don’t know how much yet); if it’s a significant discount, I’m sure that will still persuade many who are sitting on the fence, to take a punt (like yourself). All the best! : )
Been watching your channel ever since i found your video on the P.149. Keep it up! Will you do a video on Sim Skunk Works F-104 for MSFS when it comes out?
Ah well thank very much Vincent, that’s been a while now then! Really happy to hear you’re enjoying the content : ) For sure I will be doing a video on the SSW F-104. I love every SSW product that I own and the real F-104 is one of my favourite aircraft of all time! I have their P3D version of the aircraft and very much enjoyed it. Excited to see it come to MSFS. I presume you’re keen on it too? Hopefully we won’t have to wait too much longer. . . All the best!
@@IntotheBlueSimulations great to hear! Absolutely, I'm really looking forward to it. Got some training on them as an aircraft mechanic like on the P. 149. So it's something I'm really keen on. I think it will release in early August. Can't wait to hear your thoughts about it
Nice! Must have been a hell of an aircraft to work on! (Although I imagine maybe not a very mechanic-friendly aircraft?) I didn’t realise it will be releasing so soon potentially, looking forward to that then! It’s SSW, so I’m already expecting it will be pretty great haha ; ) Catch you soon then hopefully Vincent, cheers! : )
Thanks very much Mobbe. Glad you enjoyed the video, if not the product so much. I think quite a few people feel the same way as you and that’s very understandable. As I say, for me I’m quite happy to see the Warrior, having flown it previously. I think we’ve seen a succession of PA28s because it’s easy for Just Flight to develop one off the back of another. This allows them to put the aircraft out in fairly quick succession, whilst continuing to develop other products (they just announced an F28 for example). As the sim continues to develop I think / hope we will start to see some more variety though. Thanks again and all the best! : )
Thank you for your time once again, I really like this format ( 3 Landing's ). To me it seems to better, showcase the vehicles characteristics. Good on you. I Like and have a lot of Just Flight's add-on's Love them. I will not get this one through, not because of any other reason, other then, well I have more airplane's then I can fly now. I have not flown 4 or 5 of the plane's that cane with the Simulator. It's too much content when is it going to end, this is madness, I can't take it anymore. Please make it stop. LOL.
Thank you very much once again Paul! I’m inclined to agree that it probably is a better showcase on many aspects of the aircraft. We might revisit this format again in the future (especially for training aircraft). I must admit though, my own personal enjoyment in flight simulation generally comes from taking an aircraft cross-country, so I like to do that where I can (I figure it’s important to make content that I enjoy as well - firstly I think that comes across in the video, secondly I don’t want to get “burnt out”). This format may well become more prevalent in the future though, once works starts to ramp up again (as it’s a bit more efficient time-wise). Totally understandable and I know exactly how you feel haha! Imagine having to try and review them all! There’s quite a few aircraft that I would love to revisit as well and I just can’t find the time. . . Still, not a bad position to be in overall. It’s great to see the flight simulation world so vibrant once again! Enjoy what you have, happy flying and all the best! : )
Another great video, thanks. Looking forward to finally being able to play FS2020 on my Series X on the 27th... Should hopefully look nice on my OLED tv.....
Thanks very much once again Dave! Much appreciated. Yeah, exciting! I’m sure it will look great on an OLED. Not too long to wait now : ) See you in the virtual skies soon - all the best!
@@sakumisan I'm not.....but I don't have £2000+ to spend on a PC to run it at the minute either...... I'm spreading the cost with Xbox All Access with Gamepass Ultimate. I'm sure I'll get to the PC version eventually, once the pandemic is over.....
Hi Hugo, thanks very much - my pleasure! Have you tried using the mouse scroll-wheel? I seem to recall that’s what I used to unlock the primer. . . Let me know if that helps? All the best! : )
Ok, thanks for the feedback. Yeah, audio is definitely still a bit of a weakness on the channel at the moment. I’m by no means a sound engineer and I’m using a pretty cheap, rubbish microphone at the moment as well. I keep telling myself I need to get a new one. . . In the meantime, I’ll see what I can do. Was it a bit full-on throughout the video, or just at certain points? All the best : )
@@IntotheBlueSimulations I’d say all the way through but it’s more noticeable on large speakers than a mobile device. It’s just clipping slightly so probably just needs attenuating slightly.
The Arrow's will be on there in the next week or so, depends how quickly the MS team get them tested and on sale. The Warrior likely to be later this month or very early next month.
Hi Raphael, Thanks! Glad you think it’s adds to the realism, that’s certainly the idea. I use TrackIR in most of my vids (and indeed that’s what I’m using here). It’s not cheap and it takes a bit of getting used to, but overall I think it’s well worth it (especially for making videos like this). Cheers, all the best! : )
Is it normal that you'd leave full flaps in for the takeoff on a touch and go? I'd think you'd want to remove one notch before pulling back up. Curious if thats the way you'd do it IRL.
It’s been well over a decade since I last flew the Warrior, so I can’t remember all of the procedures accurately in all honestly; but I’d agree with you and seem to recall that it was standard procedure to retract 1 stage of flap during a touch and go. I did actually do exactly that in this video, though I didn’t comment on it (during the climb out, I mention that climb performance is reduced, with the 2 stages of flap I have out). In short, from memory I think you’re correct. Cheers, all the best : )
Any idea if the just flight planes will be put on the Xbox marketplace at some point? Really like the immersion of the various failure possibilities and such.
I’m afraid I really don’t know anything about Just Flights plans in this regard Joshua. I haven’t heard any mentioned of their aircraft coming over to the Xbox, but that doesn’t mean to say it won’t happen at some point. . . Sorry I can’t be of much help on that one. All the best! : )
@@IntotheBlueSimulations appreciate the response. I feel once Devs realise/start tapping into the market opportunity that console brings it'll speed things up. No real downside to it if they can keep the performance without kneecapping it. Here's hoping anyways :)
My pleasure! Yeah, I’m sure some devs are waiting to see how things pan out on the console; but if enough people continue to show interest in the sim (and I expect they will) it’d be a no-brainer for them to start tapping into that market as well. I just hope we don’t get too many console-only exclusives either! ; ) All the best!
strange - dont usually check the controls again for free movement after a power check as you checked earlier - never checked them twice - and you didn't turn landing light on lol
Hi Nigel, I was using a real-world checklist and that was the stated procedure. I agree it's a bit unusual, but I have come across this before in the real world as well. In fact, if memory serves me correctly, in some countries its the law that you check your flight controls again right before takeoff - so I guess maybe this checklist was covering for that. Certainly can't hurt anyway. Looks to me like I did turn my landing light on? Did I miss it at some point during the video? Cheers
Another great overview - thank you :-). I think i'll give this aircraft a miss. I have all the Just Flight PA models but this one just seems a little too underpowered for me. I dont have a pilot's licence so I don't have the connection that yourself or others may have with this who have flown it in RL. It is however a very nice looking aircraft and very well made by Just Flight. Can't argue with their quality of output :-)
Thanks as always James : ) Yeah, that’s totally understandable and I’m sure a lot of others will feel the same. There’s no doubting, compared with the Turbo Arrow, the Warrior is a bit of an unrefined slug haha. Luckily for Just Flight, I’m sure there are plenty of people on the other side of the fence, that do have some experience in the Warrior and would like to pick it up just for that reason. They will also be offering a discount to owners of the Arrow; if it’s a substantial discount I’m sure that will perused some to take a punt. Once again though, as you say, a really solid effort from Just Flight and it’s great to see that their output continues to be of a high quality. Quite looking forward to picking this one up myself. All the best!
@@IntotheBlueSimulations I think on the basis of getting a substantial discount you really couldn't pass it up to be honest :-). I think its a great little aircraft - i am just not sure what I would use it for. Can't haul cargo in it lol :-). Keep up the great work. All the very best
Haha, my last Air Hauler career would have to disagree with you James! Spent a year running the Warrior around the Scottish Islands. You might have a point after all though - as MY GOSH was it a grind! XD I always like to start off as basic as I can and work my way up, but usually real life gets in the way before I can purchase anything substantial haha (and then I end up starting from scratch at a later date). I still need to get Air Hauler sorted in MSSF! All the best : )
@@IntotheBlueSimulations LOL i couldnt face that level of grind - that's super human lol. My minimum starting point is the Grand Caravan lol ... and that is a mighty grind hahahaha :-)
I have Saitek rudder pedals and I use a curve of -50 in the sim on the rudder axis. I would say for takeoff, only an inch or so. For climb (to keep the ball centred) I was using about 1/4 deflection maybe. In inches, somewhere around 2-4in I would guess. Hope that helps a bit? All the best : )
I’ll choose to take that as an veiled compliment on my landing skills Peter ; ) I just re-watched the video though. I think you’re right. It’s seems there is a small amount of strut compression, but perhaps not quite enough. That could be a quirk of the replay engine, or it could just be that strut compression requires a little more work. Without further testing, difficult to say. Good spot though. Cheers. All the best! : )
Thanks! Hmm, funny you should say that. . . I had the same sort of comments with my DC6 review. I put it down to the DC6 being heavy on framerates, but it seems generally my system is struggling a little bit with the sim at the moment (which is annoying). I can’t say for sure, but I don’t imagine it’s the fault of the Warrior particularly. I actually didn’t notice anything myself during the flight. Ultimately I think it’s time for an upgrade, although it’s sounds like the next sim update should dramatically improve FPS, so I might wait for that and see how I go first. I’ll touch on the FPS etc again during my full review of the final version : ) Thanks again and all the best!
Should bring back some nice memories then Biffy (if you pick it up)! : ) Wasn’t the first aircraft I flew (might have been the first GA aircraft I ever flew on though, now I think about it), but I did do some of my PPL on it and I always preferred the Pipers to the Cessnas. Definitely have a soft spot for the little Warrior. All the best!
Ah, thank you! Someone else pointed this out also. I have no idea how I missed it haha. . . Either they added it more recently, or I’m just very unobservant (I tried searching carb heat etc in controls and nothing showed up). Anyway, thanks very much, very helpful! All the best : )
Thanks Matt! Glad you enjoyed it : ) Im afraid I have no idea. In fact, I just had to go and google what Dolby Vision even is haha. Defiantly can’t be of much help on that one, apologies. All the best!
Hmm, interesting. You aren’t the first person to say that Jeremy. I had the same issues with the DC-6, but I put that down to it being an FPS-heavy aircraft. Maybe in actuality a recent update has upset my sim / system, or I’ve inadvertently tweaked something somewhere. I can’t imagine it’s the PA28 causing it, given that it’s now been mentioned in other vids as well. Ultimately my system is probably due an upgrade at this point, but it sounds like the next sim update could dramatically improve FPS. I’ll probably hold off, see how that affects things and go from there. Thanks for the feedback. In the meantime, I’ll have to make sure I haven’t inadvertently messed with my Nvidia settings or something. All the best! : )
Huh. You aren’t the first to mention that (I actually didn’t notice anything myself at the time I have to say haha). I’m not sure it’s specific to the Warrior, as I’ve had it mentioned in a couple of recent videos. I’m wondering whether a recent sim update, Nvidia update etc hasn’t upset my system. . . It sounds like the next sim update may dramatically improve FPS; so I will see how that unfolds. Otherwise I might be due a system upgrade. I’m even wondering if RUclips isn’t partly to blame. I uploaded a video the other day; the source video was fine, but on RUclips it looked super laggy. Either way, I will have to investigate further! Thanks for the feedback, all the best : )
I don’t 100% know the answer to that Shoto, but Just Flight do provide a version of the Archer in FSX / P3D, so I’d be surprised if they didn’t bring it to MSFS at some point : ) All the best!
Yeah, it’s “clear prop” haha. Usually (in the real-world) it’s shouted just before starting the engine, to make others around you aware. I started doing it in videos just to be procedurally accurate, but I think it’s become more of a running joke now anyway XD All the best!
It's not kind mate its advertising. :-) Why do the developers copy each anothers aircraft? There are so many aircraft. I'd kill for an Argos Whitworth Argosy and 200 other aircraft that no one will ever build. :-(
Haha, well that’s true! I still consider it “generous” of Just Flight though. This channel is pretty small fry and there are plenty of other, bigger channels out there that would net them better advertising opportunities, they certainly don’t have to give me early access to products etc. That being said, I imagine they feel like I do a half decent job at showcasing their products, hence the offer. Overall I think it’s a mutually beneficial relationship and it’s win-win all round really, as it means people can get a good feel for whether the product is right for them before purchasing. I totally see you point; the sim is new and it would be nice to see more variety coming to the table. I think at this stage though, developers are brining products to the table, in an order that makes sense for them and minimises development time. The Arrow / Warrior for example, is a relatively easy aircraft to develop from one to the other I would imagine. Just Flight do have a decent track record of brining some interesting aircraft to the sim though and I’m sure as the sim develops we will see a wider variety of more interesting types arriving : ) All the best!
Correct! Haha, I like to try and keep the taxi times down for the sake of the video though. Granted this was a very sort taxi, but there isn't really much of interest for any one to see at any rate. . . All the best
The only thing missing is the smell.

Totally off topic - but was it Maidenhead that has the massive indoor water park haha? I seem to recall that being a thing many many years ago. . .
All the best : )
I can understand that this aircraft is interesting if you have done training in one but personally I don't see any reason to buy this when I already have the Arrow III.
solid point, one that I would side with. But, I'm sure Piper enthusiasts are creaming their jimmies though.
Mr misterno What you're talking about? The warrior is different to the arrow and its a proper training aircraft, I fly it in reality and it will be a supplement to my training. Can't wait to get it!! Warriors are very popular all over the world. Look outside your window at the sky .. most ga planes in training are 152s, 172s, anD WARRIORS.
my thoughts exactly!
@@chrisadish what do you mean whats he talking about. JUST LOOK AT IT.
@@chrisadish That's exactly what I said? Interesting aircraft if you do training in it.
For sure Caleb; I’m sure there will be quite a few people picking up the Warrior for exactly this reason. Enjoy your flying! : )
All the best
Nice! The warrior is such a forgiving aircraft.
Yeah, it’s a lovely aircraft to fly. Personally always preferred the Warrior over the 152 / 172 myself.
All the best : )
I've flown in Warriors several times. It would be great to fly in MSFS!
Nice Madoob! I think you’ll probably enjoy this rendition from Just Flight then : )
All the best!
Great video and look forward to getting the Warrior II...Loving the engine sounds
Cheers again, all the best!
Got 30hrs irl on the warrior iii now, would love to see a glass cockpit version of this.
Have you tried the PMS5 mod, pretty good mate.
pms50.com/msfs/
@@MorrisseysMonkey thnx will look into it, I'm flying on avidyne irl
It is a damn god mod. I presume / believe it’ll go payware eventually, but I’d almost certainly still pick it up. I just tried it out in the M20R (should be a vid ok that fairly soon), an excellent (and much needed) addition to the sim!
Cheers : )
Nice! How’s it been going thus far? Glass cockpits are somewhat of an anathema to me haha (albeit they are far more user friendly and capable platforms - I’d certainly prefer to have one, if the proverbial hits the fan in the real world). I just prefer the character that steam gauges bring. To each their own though of course! ; )
Definitely worth giving the GTN750 that was mentioned a go.
Thanks again Geebee : )
Yeah, the flight model already seems pretty solid, though I haven’t tried a stall etc yet.
You shouldn’t have to wait too long before this one becomes available anyway ; )
Cheers, all the best!
👍 hey, every time you show us a new aircraft I get a strange feeling😁 I say Yes my CC says NO. I say Yes my CC shouts NO NO. I win🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for the brilliant first impression. Another must buy.
Take care
Hahaha, well I can only apologise. . .
If it’s any consolation, I’ve been picking up these Just Flight PA28s myself, so my credit card is feeling the pain also. In fairness though, thanks to Just Flight and their various discounts (of which there should also be one for the Warrior also), the credit card isn’t hurting quite as much as it might otherwise be XD
I’ll have to put a financial warning in my videos, like they do when you apply for a loan at the bank! : P
Thanks as always : )
@@IntotheBlueSimulations 🤣🤣🤣 you could probably apply an batch "Destructor Of Finances" 🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha. I think you’ll find it’s just “reinvestment of finances” ; )
Carb heat can be bound to a control or key with “Set Anti Ice On/Off”.
Well you can’t win em all I suppose ; )
Personally I’m quite keen for the Warrior, having flown it previously, but I totally understand where you’re coming from.
All the best!
great video into the blue simulation's keep up the good work well done
Thanks very much once again! Thoroughly appreciated : )
And somewhere in the world a neighbour is wondering why his neighbour is always screaming Clear prop in his flat
Haha!
On the plus side, they’re incredibly unlikely to succumb to any virtual aviation accidents XD
Cool plane, but a little too similar to the Arow III and the Turbo version. Now if I could get this at a nice discount, I might still consider it :)
Really happy to hear you’re enjoying the content : )
For sure I will be doing a video on the SSW F-104. I love every SSW product that I own and the real F-104 is one of my favourite aircraft of all time! I have their P3D version of the aircraft and very much enjoyed it. Excited to see it come to MSFS. I presume you’re keen on it too? Hopefully we won’t have to wait too much longer. . .

It’s SSW, so I’m already expecting it will be pretty great haha ; )
Catch you soon then hopefully Vincent, cheers! : )

Too much the same as the arrow. Would have been nice to get something different!! Still great video as always!!

That looks awesome.
Might need to attenuate your mic slightly though.
Yeah, it should be another good one from Just Flight PG!

Pity Just Flight's Models never arrive on MSFS Marketplace or I'd probably buy them all.
The Arrow's will be on there in the next week or so, depends how quickly the MS team get them tested and on sale. The Warrior likely to be later this month or very early next month.

Dude how do you move like that inside the cabin? Is this track IR or VR? It’s amazona how real it looks!
Hi Raphael,
Thanks!
How much longer are they gonna keep us waiting?? Been desperately waiting for this since their first announcement
Haha, shouldn’t be too much longer Lucas! All being well, you should see it within the next couple of weeks.
All the best : )
I just hope we don’t get too many console-only exclusives either! ; )
All the best!
strange - dont usually check the controls again for free movement after a power check as you checked earlier - never checked them twice - and you didn't turn landing light on lol
Hi Nigel,
I was using a real-world checklist and that was the stated procedure.
Thanks as always James : )
Yeah, that’s totally understandable and I’m sure a lot of others will feel the same.
XD
I always like to start off as basic as I can and work my way up, but usually real life gets in the way before I can purchase anything substantial haha (and then I end up starting from scratch at a later date). I still need to get Air Hauler sorted in MSSF!
All the best : )
@@IntotheBlueSimulations LOL i couldnt face that level of grind - that's super human lol. My minimum starting point is the Grand Caravan lol ... and that is a mighty grind hahahaha :-)
Haha, it was a bit much maybe, but I can’t say I won’t do something similar if I ever get that Air Hauler series on the go XD
How much pressure do you need on the right rudder for takeoff? Can you measure the displacement in inches?
I have Saitek rudder pedals and I use a curve of -50 in the sim on the rudder axis. I would say for takeoff, only an inch or so. For climb (to keep the ball centred) I was using about 1/4 deflection maybe. In inches, somewhere around 2-4in I would guess.
Hope that helps a bit? All the best : )
@@IntotheBlueSimulations Thank you very much.
it need the strut compression modeled on landing
I’ll choose to take that as an veiled compliment on my landing skills Peter ; )
I just re-watched the video though. I think you’re right. It’s seems there is a small amount of strut compression, but perhaps not quite enough. That could be a quirk of the replay engine, or it could just be that strut compression requires a little more work. Without further testing, difficult to say.
Good spot though. Cheers. All the best! : )
Nice preview, but you seem to have rather poor fps compared to your other videos. Could it be because of pre-release code from JF?
I’ll touch on the FPS etc again during my full review of the final version : )
Thanks again and all the best!
Dmn this is the first plane i flew
Should bring back some nice memories then Biffy (if you pick it up)! : )
Wasn’t the first aircraft I flew (might have been the first GA aircraft I ever flew on though, now I think about it), but I did do some of my PPL on it and I always preferred the Pipers to the Cessnas. Definitely have a soft spot for the little Warrior.

Carb heat is toggled with "h" key just so you know
Ah, thank you! Someone else pointed this out also. I have no idea how I missed it haha. . . Either they added it more recently, or I’m just very unobservant (I tried searching carb heat etc in controls and nothing showed up).
Anyway, thanks very much, very helpful! All the best : )
Another brilliant review mate. Do u know if flight simulator will support Dolby vision?
Thanks Matt! Glad you enjoyed it : )
Im afraid I have no idea. In fact, I just had to go and google what Dolby Vision even is haha. Defiantly can’t be of much help on that one, apologies.
All the best!
Your sim looks laggy? Whatsup with that? Not used to seeing that in your videos.
Wow, the frame rate looks to be around 10 in the cockpit. Not smooth at all in the cockpit
Will a Piper pa 28 Archer also come?
I don’t 100% know the answer to that Shoto, but Just Flight do provide a version of the Archer in FSX / P3D, so I’d be surprised if they didn’t bring it to MSFS at some point : )

Yeah, it’s “clear prop” haha. Usually (in the real-world) it’s shouted just before starting the engine, to make others around you aware. I started doing it in videos just to be procedurally accurate, but I think it’s become more of a running joke now anyway XD
All the best!
Bingo! : )
Just Flight do have a decent track record of brining some interesting aircraft to the sim though and I’m sure as the sim develops we will see a wider variety of more interesting types arriving : )
All the best!
taxing too fast!
Correct! Haha, I like to try and keep the taxi times down for the sake of the video though. Granted this was a very sort taxi, but there isn't really much of interest for any one to see at any rate. . .
