Orchard did not luck out genetically. He does not have enough muscle on his bone to break through the top level. And, apparently, he has decided to not be on the juice. He is taking the noble warrior’s path. ... I wish the others walked with him.
Why would muscle be the secret to breaking through? I think you're right though that the lack of juice would explain why this 20 year old is beating Nate with all his experience.
@@aplus1080 Strength matters. Orchard is a wizard. He has exactly the sort of physique that one would expect from someone who trains aerobically/anaerobically for hours a day - drills/rolling. That sort of activity does not produce muscle mass, it produces tendon on top of bone sorts of bodies - like marathon runners. Unless you are on the juice. Orchard can destroy almost everyone on the planet except those who have got to his skill range ... and injected/popped the chemicals that allow them to develop muscle mass and strength while doing something that makes the natural man lean and raw-boned.
@@aplus1080 one trained from 4 years old, one didn't. Jimenez represents a generation of grapplers who have a fully developed game even before being old enough to compete at adult. Even amongst that new generation, he's still stand out.
@@abraxian7090 Hilarious. Tons of people have been grappling since birth and the kid who mysteriously gains shit tons of lean muscle is coincidentally one of the best? Yeah hE A NeW GeNeRatIoN - unlike literally any of the Gracies or any kids of bjj instructors. Yes the magical difference between all of them and Roberto is that Roberto started early and is a standout.
@@aplus1080 my comment was merely comparing Orchard's situation with Jiminez' situation. A lifetime spent competing vs a few years competing much later in life is huge when it comes to the many factors at play in the outcome of a match like this. It's very far from a hilarious observation.
I'm sure Mr. Sonnen has many skills and talents.
Unfortunately calling jj is not among them.
Considering how good Nathan is, this was an incredible performance by Jimenez...
That sweep at 54 seconds was really nice
Anyone know what that sweep is called?!?

@@Grandroborox good to know thanks!
Chael probably has the worst knowledge for a black belt.
Nathan’s a good friend. He’s on another level. Having said that, Jimenez literally dominated! These damn kids getting better so fast!
It's probably steroids.
@@aplus1080 steroids!? look at the size of roberto idiot wtf does that have to do with technique anyway
That full mount take from bottom makes jiu jitsu look easy, but that was world class.
lol chael, ive been watching jiminez throughout his career. u should see his highlights from purplebelt worlds amazing what this kid can do
Saw him at a local show as purple and he was a f'ing pheeeeeenommmmmmmm.
Jimenez is a wizard

This makes Gordon’s easy win over Jimenez even more impressive.
