Also, make sure to check out my video on Sunday, where I rank all of the Star Wars movies!
@Homer I was just implying that the 41st wore the green camo on Kashyyyk. (Perhaps I should've just said green armor instead)
Clones to Imperial Soldiers… as a Swedish man once said “it’s evolving… just backwards”
Pewdiepie... is that you?
No.
A little fun fact about the proto stormtrooper armor, it’s actually based off Ralph McQuarrie’s concept designs. It’s a nice little callback to him.
Yeah they do they do this a lot in shows like Rebels with Darth Vader and this one with the Tk Troopers.
It's definitely a creative way of changing things up.
This was the first video i saw from your channel. After watching your older videos I'd have to say, your voice is so much more pleasant to listen to in this video compared the older ones. Please continue like this.
Thanks for the support! You'll be pleased to hear I am moving into the future with my normal voice like in this video, and I actually have a short coming out today about why I'm changing it. I still have 2 more videos coming out in the next week or so with the old voice because I already made them a while back, but other than that, everything will have my normal voice moving forward.
@@DaBlueBountyHunter All good dude, content creation is all about literally and figuratively finding your voice. You'll find the right stuff in due time, and it's great you have an audience that's willing to give *constructive* feedback.
@@DPham1 facts
Finally someone with eyes in his head, so many RUclipsrs still claim the color change came with Phase II although The Clone Wars proves that unit colors began to appear quite early in the war despite many troopers still wearing white at the beginning.
Thank you!
As the comments have pointed out, I still missed a couple of things lol. But I guess that's hard not to do with so many details.
@@DaBlueBountyHunter Yes, sure but like you said it's really much.
Speaking of colors, what do you think that the Stormtrooper pauldron colors symbolize? Currently the only information I have is:
None/Black=Private
White=Sergeant
Orange=Squad Leader
Red=Captain or Commander
But the Sergeant is the leader of a squad, besides "Squad Leader" can't be an official rank, next in the command line would be Lieutenant.
And Captain and the four different Commander ranks all have red? Looks like s very weird military structure to me.
What do you think?
@CraftMotion - Star Wars & Fantasy According to Wookieepedia, orange is for unit leader, but I don't know if that makes a difference. Also, I always assumed only Sandtroopers wore the pauldrons until I played Jedi Fallen Order.
@@DaBlueBountyHunter Well, a unit can be everything. Can be a squad or a corps. Yeah, Fallen Order is using pauldrond pretty frequently although they don't use the white ones (only Purge Troopers have three different colors). I too didn't know that Scouts have them as well but it kinda makes sense. Hopefully this gets explored more in future content
The tk armor looks cooler than standard stormtrooper gear to me
I actually agree.
@@DaBlueBountyHunterI’m really upset the new republic didn’t get some cool armor like this
@Stone Sky Sunrise That would've been cool.
Love your video bro you have the makings of a great Star Wars RUclipsr
Thanks man, the support helps a lot. Really mean it.
Love this video great job man my the force be with you
Thanks for the support! More stuff on the way.
Kinda looks like the Imperial Navy Commando from Star Wars Force Unleashed PS2 version
Just looked it up, and I can definitely see the resemblance. I'm pretty sure they based the Tk-Troopers' design off the original concept art for Stormtroopers if I'm not mistaken.
@@DaBlueBountyHunter i love the imperial Navy Commando design
@@DaBlueBountyHunter look up the Imperial Evo Trooper they look sick asf dude
@DemonSoldier467 I can confirm it looks epic. He looks like he's holding a hand-held Gatling Gun.
Good stuff!
Thank you Sir Shad
The stormtroopers were elite, and did have good aim. It’s just that we rarely see them not attacking main characters.
what about the khasykk troopers or the triton squad clones they had unique armour
I didn't cover all variations of stormtroopers and clones, just the important changes to the armor like Phase 1 to Phase 2.
But you are right that there are a bunch of interesting clone variants out there!
@@DaBlueBountyHunter yes the ones i am talking about come from the force unleashed prolouge the ps3 and the ps2 versions they are like a transition phase
@vector My bad, I thought you were talking about the 41st legion, but you clearly know your stuff 👍.
@@DaBlueBountyHunter yes its a very good game i recommend the force unleashed☺
@@vector4753 It definitely looks cool, I'll check it out.
They got there name from German storm troopers from ww1
Bts, yes. I was referring to in-universe, but that is a cool fact though.
I read the thing about the storm of galactic history off of Wookiepedia. As you can see, I didn't completely understand what it was saying.
Great video 👍
Thanks
Good vid
Glad you enjoyed.

The T.K. troopers are a tribute to ralph mcquarrie.
Indeed, love his concept art.
@@DaBlueBountyHunter it's so good.
Phase II for life
Based.
That armour reminds me to the commando troppers from starwars the force unleashed
They do look similar...
You should make a video on all the different storm trooper variants
I'll consider it. I have a lot of videos already planned, but that is a good idea.
TK troopers look cool.
Yeah, it's a cool design for sure.
@@DaBlueBountyHunter but nothing beats the clones
@Super Jump Bros Especially Clone Commandos. Unless it's Bad Batch, and then they're randomly weak.
@@DaBlueBountyHunter true!
I call the TK trooper armor phase one stormtrooper armor.
This is so true though.
Love the video
Thanks, Mr. President
The thing about storm troopers is that even real soldiers misses shots as much as them .
Stormtrooper aim in combat would actually be considered good aiming on earth
I could see that.
It’s hard to keep up with cannon on how weak or strong these armors are
Yeah, I hope I did a decent job covering it.
@@DaBlueBountyHunter you did great my dude was speaking in general you know
@Skyler Wilson Ight thanks. Yeah, it is kind of hard to keep up with all those details.
Original from concept before a new hope so if you don’t believe it it on Google and Star Wars concept art book
Yep, Ralph McQuarrie is the goat.
@@DaBlueBountyHunter that the one!!!
Short answer it didn’t evolve to first order the first order is not canon
I'm assuming you didn't like the Sequels, which is fair, but technically speaking, they are "Canon," at least in the Disney Canon. 🤓
I just covered the basic steps in this video, like Clones, Stormtroopers, and then whatever happened after the stormtroopers.
Stormtrooper Aren,t bad at aiming
I didn't realize we had Rebel vets in the comments. Sorry I triggered your PTSD.
Triton Squad > TK Troopers
I could've guessed this from your pfp 👌
You also flip through scenes and pictures too fast. Tik tok attention span. Slow the pictures down just a second or two more.
I stopped caring after return of the jedi because the new trilogy is just the terrible.
I will admit that The First Order Stormtroopers are kind of boring to me. They just feel like less interesting stormtroopers (in my opinion).
Let me correct you chief cause your horrible at Star Wars lore….. imperial storm troopers were highly accurate and in the movies they were ordered not to kill… and why anyone who wasn’t a true storm trooper couldn’t see out the helmet because the suit was made for that specific trooper and if you weren’t him the suit would turn off…. Disney took a joke and has amplified X30 for absolutely no reason it was a little joke before now all Disney do3s is make storm troopers look bad and when they do get a way they let them win against unarmed pirates/thieves…
I do wish the stormtroopers held more of a threat in the Star Wars media.
They're starting to get the vibe of just bad soldiers that are easy to defeat, which I don't think is a good direction to move in.
It evolved because George lucas made it so..m duh
You're telling me that his whole time, I had made this video when the answer was right under my nose?
Stop spreading meme about stormtroopers aim. Its absolutely wrong.
I believe in content such as Star Wars Rebels we can see that certain characters couldn't see through the helmets which on top of the overwhelming amount of times the troopers GENUINELY miss the characters probably led me to this conclusion. But as many like you have pointed out, this is arguably incorrect.
Just because I said it, though, doesn't mean I like it. I wish Disney would treat the Stormtroopers as threatening soldiers instead of low quality idiots.
what is this stuttering voice over
Someone wasn't loved as a child...
He said the clone wars last tip 3 years 😆 I believe that elasted 4 years 22BBY to 19BBY Sometime in 21bby to 20bby Phase 2 clone trooper armor was introduced at that time it's physici'm just fizzing out the phase one coin trooper armor Season 4 episode 1 to 3 I think clone wars Showed the phase one being phased out by the phase 2
And dude I know what you mean but I love the hints towards you know I'm will rampart telling the import telling the Imperial senate a storm took out Camino I love how you said that A people who don't know that neither wants to the episode of find out how the storm troopers got their name And so they got their name from a lie About a storm Put that together with trooper Stormtrooper
I think you took too many deathsticks.
Dude I'm just coming in here to say don't you mean 41st league core not legion There are not Allegiant there are core Is the 41st elite core Not a legion The thigh of 501st legion is a legion The 7th sky corps that had the 212 tack battalion That's a Battalion 327 star core The ones who are on Felucia Is 91st where Kansas core The 104th wolfpack Just wanted to help you refix your name The 41st elite core Allegiant it's not Allegiant it's a core Literally a video on that explaining the differences In naming various clown units you see As RUclips channel literally is a channel that combines legends and cannon Thou tell you which ones are various units you're talking about dude
So what you're saying is... Battlefront lied to me.
Bad aiming?
Those dead rebels at Tantive IV, Hoth and Scarif said otherwise
You make a good point
@Homer That is very true.
@Homer Or it could be just a skill issue on the Rebels. The Stormtroopers had little troopers on their part that got knocked out while stormtroopers were literally blasting the rebels. Why would the big bad troopers of the Empire have plot armor instead of the very good and very admirable rebels?
@Homer They had good cover and home advantage and had many(not that many) men on overwatch yet the very bad and very evil stormtroopers managed to break through and kill many rebels.
I like the armor of the TK troopers a lot more and it looks more functional than the stormtroopers armour.
I agree, it looks great.
That’s exactly why they changed it.
Stormtroopers aim and efficiency seem to be pretty tremendous if it's not used against main protagonists as beginning of Star Wars show and quite a few other examples. Also they can see clearly through their helmets but others can't as it's not coded for them. Han Solo and Luke could not see anything through it as it was not theirs.
Who knew stormtrooper aim would be so controversial.
@Homer Based
@Homer They miss but their accuracy is much higher compared to marines which needs hundreds to thousands of shots to hit a target while the Stormtroopers only need tens to a hundred shots.
@Homer Imagine saying comics and novels weren't canon making the comics and novels where the movies and serier came from as not canon.
@@DaBlueBountyHunter Not really.
I actually think I prefer the TK troopers armor over the stormtroopers armor
It's definitely a cool design.
I am pretty sure phase one clone armor was more blaster resistant then phase two. That's the reason captain Rex kept his phase one chest plate
That would make sense
Yeah the main reason they switch to phase 2 because it had more mobility/comfort & was more modular, you can put a variety of gadgets & equipment if only they had a phase3 with the best of both armors
@KidDeath888 :/ Yeah, that's what I read, too.
Bad batch design of storm troopers is tye best looking of storm trooper armor
I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes the look.
Great video man, just got this recommended to me after binging some clone wars videos, glad I found it!
Just subbed!
I'm glad I could help.
You know what i thought about?
I was thinking about: what if we'll make a stormtroopers movie. You know? From theyr perspective and so on. (Lets name them uh... Gary and Larry for example)
And i imagined the way, they kill droids, or clone troopers or evoks... and then i remembered about Jedis existance.
I though of the way how those two humble pals, must kill one.
Blasters? No, no, Jedi will reflect shots and kill poor Gary.
Close combat? Well, thats rediculous. Larry boy will have his arms chipped of.
And then i remembered something...
That "stunning mod" on Bad Batches, blasters.
1: they are larger (no need to aim so much)
2: they can stun Jedi (or kick him on the floor so it'll be an easier kill)
3: Its imposible to reflect. (Or is it?)
Are there any hard fans?
Can somebody explain if tahts even posible?
Considering Scorch was able to stay conscious after about 5 blasts from a blaster on Stun, I doubt a jedi wouldn't be able to recover from a shot with ease.
I'm not sure about reflecting on Stun-blasts, though. You'd have to research that.
Lol my man said they have more tech then the droids... lol the droids were all tech
True
“Petronky Arena”
for a moment there i forgot all about the sequels..
The First Order be like
Don't get me wrong, but Stormtroopers are no inaccurate. They miss due to the plot, or simply ordered to.
Could you elaborate on when they were ordered to miss?
@@DaBlueBountyHunter On Deathstar 1, the Stormtroopers were ordered to miss against the rebel group (Luke, Leia, Han, Chewy - maybe Ben too even though he was shot at much). If they were to let them escape, these rebels will eventually go back to their base - where there are MORE rebels (or all of them). So if the Empire now knows the location of a rebel base, or the entire rebel army, well say good bye to the Alliance.
Also when we see Stormtroopers getting shot in the death star, they needn't be worried of being shot since their armor pretty much tanked the shot itself. Heck most of them acted like they either got paralyzed to make the rebel group (Leia, Han, Luke, Chewy) to continue escaping.
@@DaBlueBountyHunter Also, Leia even said that the Empire intentionally let them go after responding to Han being cooking about the escape.
@@DaBlueBountyHunter If stormtroopers were taken seriously, they are even more dangerous than Clones if you look at the details between them.
@Massiel Hernandez Ok, thanks for explaining. 👍
Prototype Stormtrooper armor looks goofy af.
I guess it's not for everyone lol.
Some stormtroopers are clones who survived and well are in the first order yep go clones
How could they survive to the First Order!!! Grandpa Clones, but cool though lol.
@@DaBlueBountyHunter whoops i forgot the accelrated growth so only to the fall of the empire and mots of the 501st stormtroopers where left ofer clones
@Foster Wasn't Rex on Endor in Return Of The Jedi? (canonically speaking)
@@DaBlueBountyHunter yes if you look at rebels rex you can see him
That sounded weird but yes
Very cool video, there are so many variants, which would be awesome if they were covered in the future movies.👍 BTW I subscribed cause I wanted to! 😁
Awesome, glad to see someone that watches the outro!
Dude in the movies they were supposed to miss i forgot why. And so of the battle they were in places that it was to get a kill because they live there. And they had a thing that helped them see good.🎉
All facts.
Ngl I kinda like the early design of the Stormtroopers. They look more sophisticated and intimidating
Some say you can't beat the classic, but I do really like the Tk look.
The Imperial Army Troopers and Stormtroopers fighting capabilities by the time of New Hope were basically diminished due to the prolonged conflict between Rebels and the Empire. At this point, many highly trained Imperials from the Army and Navy either killed in prolonged combat or defected to the Rebel Alliance, so the Imperial had to shorten the training duration to quickly replenish the losses.
As for the issue about why did the Imperial abandon TK trooper's armour was because of the Tarkin Doctrine. TK trooper armour was design for better combat efficiency just like the X Wing fighter, while Stormtrooper armour was more like the TIE fighter design for intimidation and cheap manufacturing.
Yo Tarkin, I'm a big fan. You should watch this short I helped make about you on my friend's channel: ruclips.net/user/shortsD8Hps-paruc?feature=share
Also, cool information!
@@DaBlueBountyHunter It's great to see another Star Wars fan on youtube.
@@ReviveHF Of course, imagine the internet without Star Wars.
Compared to the Clones. The Stormtroopers were more loyal. But there isn't any question about IATs deserting to the rebels.
You missed phase 1.5 which is what the ARC troopers field tested
At 3:25, I briefly mentioned the ARC troopers that tested the new armor, if that's what you're talking about.
The first order doesn't exist, that one girl doesn't exist, Luke drinking green cow milk didn't happen, the feminist rebel admiral doesn't exist, Leia and Han are still alive... it was all just a bad dream and it didn't happen
