Are there any similarities I missed?

I’m a huge fan of the Lucas-era Star Wars saga, I can probably list off a whole lot more…
Here’s one STRICTLY in Return of the Jedi - how Leia and Vader conduct themselves when enslaved to Jabba the Hutt and the dark side/Palpatine: they’re both silent and unable to express their truth. So what they do when Luke shows up in Jabba’s palace and the Death Star throne room… is bide their time while maintaining their willpower to strike at the right time, to free themselves! It cements further why Leia truly is daddy’s little girl in the Skywalker bloodline.
Also in the larger scheme of the saga, Anakin started off growing up as a slave in Episode I and hated it. Fast forward to Episode VI - Leia hated it too, but she ended the Skywalker’s curse with slavery.

First comment or so it seems. These movies were filled with parallels. This stuff made Mr. Plinkett's head burst.

7:54 Snoke is kind of related to Palpatine so is that the case here?

There are other parallels in all nine movies. I mean for example, all three trilogies involve R2 fixing up 3PO. All first movies of the trilogies involve destroying a battle station. Anakin, Luke and Rey being trained as a Jedi and were separated from their friends while on a mission until they go try to save an help friends or families. All first movies involve a mentor getting murdered by a Sith Lord and a hero give the “NOooo” shoutout.

I don’t think Qui-Gon knew he was going to die in that fight -BUT- he strongly believed in everything that happens is the will of the Force. Had Qui-Gon not died then, he wouldn’t have found the secret to immortality in time to teach it to Yoda and Obi-Wan and then Luke never would’ve blown up the Death Star or trained with Yoda.

10:07-10:19 Another parellel: In both situations, Anakin/Vader makes a move to their person on his left.

Sorry, but these "parallels" are just the proof that history repeats itself as a farce. The prequels and the Sequels and even the Streaming Shows were nothing compared to the Originals.

Maybe you should give everything outside the originals a second chance. You never know, u might enjoy something.
