I posted this before, but Reuben Langdon (Dante's actor) told Max that he showed the "Doods React to DMC5 Reveal" video to the game's director Hideaki Itsuno, who reportedly cried tears of joy seeing how excited the doods were for his game. Right now I'd love to get his reaction to this video too.
@DeadMemes NeedToStayDead No. I'm currently on Dante Must Die, and have unlocked all of the practical skills and meter enhancements by playing normally. All that's left is to buy a certain aethetic skill for each character, which can take some grinding.
@DeadMemes NeedToStayDead what i like to do for any dmc game is start off fresh on devil hunter, finish that first playthrough, then run through human mode to farm red orbs before i start the higher difficulties dmc5 is also very generous with red orbs; im halfway through my human mode farm run and i almost have every ability unlocked for each character
@DeadMemes NeedToStayDead as others have said they really arent. on demonhunter you get like 10,000+ minimum on every mission reward screen, then the few thousand from the level itself. it's really a non-issue. even if you dont grind you'll get all the abilities you want on the first playthrough, and the second will get you all the rest except the stupidly high cost one which isnt useful anyway so no worries. and hell, bloody palace is out in april which will make getting orbs simple anyway.

But, I was too young at the time. 5 left me in tears. Fangirl tears and I couldn’t stop myself from squealing throughout my first play through. 💕
Ever get sick and end up with that tickle in the back of your throat that some times makes you cough so hard that you feel like puking? That hit me during the scene as I was dying of laughter and I ended up puking while laughing. It was a weird experience.
Just finished DMC5 yesterday and it was one of coolest endings ever. Seeing DMC getting back to their original self, the character interaction, the gameplay, the story it all made me very happy to be playing this game.

I absolutely love your reactions. I felt the same way playing this game. I was cheesing like a little kid the whole time. I love that feeling of being taken back to childhood giddiness. Not alot of games that make me feel that way until recently. RE2, KH3, and now DMC5. So happy to be alive right now.
This game was my game of the year still playing it until this day. I bought at launch and honestly I didn't give it the love it deserved but the Vergil dlc got me .... Motivated.
I really really loved this game. I think it's one of the best ones ever made. I'm thankful for Max's stream, that way I can always go back and see how a first playthrough of this masterpiece is.
I just hope Capcom decides to offer DLC in costumes. Let us have Nero's DMC 4 outfit, while we can choose from a bunch of Dante's outfits from his old games =]. Hell, throw a little fan service such as Street Fighter in the mix ;]. I just love how we have the classic costumes in Re2 Remake (and the '98 pixelated costumes as well).
Max's joy totally summed up my experience playing this. Everything was such a beautiful call back to previous DMC games that I felt like I was sneak playing my dad's copy of them as a kid again. I've never been so happy to have my ass whooped by Vergil again.
@@DanOMega215 well there is a dynamic music thing going on depending on your stylish rank, but in the case of using the buster arm as Nero against Vergil, Max was just lucky.
TheMightySwooj - I agree Cerberus was extremely tough too, I fell to him twice also, but idk I feel like his attacks weren’t hitting as hard and I was just making dumb moves, but either way good boss fights all around lol
I think the final Urizen battle took me four revives to manage and I don't even know why he was so brutal. Then again, took me till the last 25% of his health to remember I had Sin DT. Whoops.
Calling it, best action game of the year. Nothing else is going to have mechanics as strong as these, nor feel like you're having as much fun like all those years ago when the original three came out
