Hamworthy is not the beach it used to be I would recommend moving for the better bass. For instance I've only had a few over 50 this year from Hamworthy but had multiple over 60 from other areas with the biggest at 75cm all on top water lures
Thanks for the comment! I’ve only been fishing this mark the last year. Seen some big ones been caught on socials and had a bit of luck, but it has been on and off! Do you fish around the harbour? Always in the lookout for new marks :) Nothing better than top water action! 🎣
Hi thanks for watching! I use a Diawa ninja 28g lure rod. I used to have the matching reel also, but I’m currently using an affordable brand I got for Xmas as the diawa reel was a bit work out from a couple of seasons. Would definitely get out and have a go! I think my set up cost about £100 to get up and going (with a few lures too) You could probably find some cheaper alternatives but my rod is still going strong :)
I have always fished with big beachcasters but my body isn't feeling it anymore. Have been looking into alternatives I've not tried before and your videos have inspired me to give it a go.
@@MDad365-f That is great to hear you want to get out and give it a go. I also use beach casters, but hooking in to a decent bass on the light set up is so fun. It’s my favourite way to fish and will be a lot easier on the body! Let me know how you get on!
Hiya, I find a black minnow in Karky or white , and then brighter colours seem to work for me. Any ima or hard plastic with a rattle can help get the interest also

Can I ask, what rod and reel are you using here? Keep meaning to go down here and never do, and it's on my doorstep.

Will do. Just need to buy a set up for myself.
@@MDad365-f let me know how you get on! Get a black minnow and a seeker to get you going lure wise :)
What lures do you recommend at night?

Another good video. Did that bass make it home for dinner?
Nope catch and release that time! Thanks for watching 😊🎣
