I’ve lived in the US for 31 years of my life and I’ve been in 49 of the 50 states and this is the first I have ever heard of Yard House.
because yard house is only in about 6 or 7 states and there's only 1 location per major city.
they barely exist. the closest one to me is 3 states away lol

Agreed. Traveled most of the country, lived in several states...this is my introduction to yardhouse.
I hadn't either, apparently they are scattered around the US in major cities, except for in LA where there are like 18. I live in Alabama and the nearest to me is the two in Atlanta.
as someone who's never heard of yard house before this episode, after hearing the "fun" facts of it, I understand why I haven't heard of it

After hearing the facts, I’m not sure it actually exists.
It's a really fun place, tbh. Best happy hour spot I ever found at my old job, lots of great memories. The food was really good, eg the seared ahi, and excellent cocktails.
honestly it’s really good 😭 they have sushi nachos that SLAPP. and good drinks
“There’s nothing to complain about, even though I did complain about something” sums up Link perfectly
I love GMM but sometimes Link is the absolute punisher on the food feuds and “We tried EVERY” episodes.

I have only been to TGIF once and she did nail it. The waiters drank and talked to one customer all night and it was a slow night. Plus the food didn't taste good. Plus it was for my birthday.

I've never heard of Yard House, I was only half paying attention during the intro and I thought they were grilling in their yard against TGIFridays.

Ive been to Yard House a few times but Ive never gotten "bar foods" there, always had more "traditional/formal" meal options like garlic noodles, sashimi and salmon. I never really thought of it as a comparable restaurant to TGI Fridays from my experiences.

They're both sports bars that charge pretty similar prices and food quality, any illusion of enhanced classiness is a product of marketing.

I barely discovered Yard House last year. I’m from Southern California & they have them mostly in the nicer suburb areas. It’s a “fancy chili’s” same menus but the inside looks a lot classier

I will never eat at either of these two establishments as I mainly eat at local restaurants instead of chains. That being said, I will watch every single Food Feud episode just to watch the servers play up their schtick. Another amazing episode team!

I feel like they should have done this episode with Applebees and TJI Fridays as Yards definitely a step above with quality and be more comparable to a Millers Ale House.

Having worked at Friday's I can say you can buy the fish in any freezer section in a grocery store
as a fisher who has also worked in processing facility i can tell u almost all fish u buy has been previously frozen even if ur buying it from the deli

Waiting for the day y'all try an A&W fast food taste test so I can see your reaction to *their* cheese curds. I got a box of them unexpectedly a few years ago and immediately realized they're the only thing I ever want from then on.
There used to be an A&W in my local mall but it up and vanished and left a hole in my heart that no amount of lesser mall food could hope to fill Dx
Are you Canadian? There aren't many A&Ws in the US anymore, which is sad since my great grandparents owned one in the 50s with servers on rollerskates and I never got to experience it. I haven't seen a real A&W drive-in since I was a kid in the 80s.
