Buick launched the first-ever Envista earlier in 2023, wearing not only a new badge for the American brand, but a new design language for their SUVs moving forward. James is the first to check out this premium offering from General Motors, after we had our first taste of it's sister vehicle the Chevrolet Trax earlier this week. James goes over all the specifications, features, and tech found on the 2024 Buick Envista ST along with the exterior and interior design and feel.

Bought one three weeks ago. Love it!
Great to hear! Hope it works out well for you, enjoy it!
How long does the gas last? In city in days
In the city I average 8.8 L/100km. Highway, I get 5.5L/100km. I don't drive much in the city, so if I am not driving outside the city, I fill up every two weeks.
Me too
This is one of the best reviews I have seen for this car so far. You did an amazing job reviewing this car. I'm really considering get an Envista in a few used.
Thanks for the kind words, we appreciate it!
Love my Buick Verano, I order the Envista Avenir coming in April.
You'll love it!
Excellent review as always! This is literally the only car made today that I am actually intrigued by. My current daily driver has required a number of repairs lately so it may just get traded in for one of these. Even fully loaded, the value compared to everything else is pretty amazing.
We lucked out with this one, as James and Nile both booked Avenir trims during different weeks, but a mix-up at GM meant James took home this ST instead. It'll give us a chance to feature two versions of this in a short time span. We're seeing them everywhere, people absolutely love them!
Good review man!
Glad you liked it, thanks!
Went and seen one of these in person and it is beautiful. They sell fast, so I will purchase mine on the next restock.
We're seeing lots of them on the roads out here, they're definitely selling quickly!
The Buick Envista drives great in the snow. With big and wide tires it grips very well.
Glad to hear it! We had the Trax the week we had a major snow storm here in Ontario, but opted to drop the vehicle back off just as the snow started to avoid any issue.
I agree, i've had mine (envista) for about 4 months, and in 3-5 inches, it, to my surprise, did very well, on stock tires
I think a great set of winter tires and you shouldn't have any problems.
I’m
Not getting many answers from the dealer. How is this in the snow? It’s. FWD only
Winter tires will make the difference, and a good set. We drove the Chevrolet Trax at the start of a snow storm with Michelin X-Ice tires and found it to handle the snow well.
I been seeing a lot of these on the road lately its a good look for Buick
They're popping up everywhere it seems! Definitely a strong seller for the brand, they've got a winning formula with this one.
All blacked out like that, personally not my cup o' tea, but it sure looks nice.
Same here, we like colour that's for sure.
I don't get why people are all over the all wheel drive thing. Yes, it does make it a little easier to drive in winter conditions only if you have winter tires. But there are so many options out there tobthis day that are front wheel drive those drivers still make it through the winter ss when using winter tires. I'm considering this Buick and I believe the front wheel drive is a plus. Less to go wrong and if something does an all wheel drive system repair is going to be way more expensive. I made it through 10 winters in a rear wheel drive Astro Van and I'm pretty sure I can handle the front wheel drive in winter conditions.
It's why we always recommend a good set of winter tires. There's certainly nothing wrong with FWD-only.
Wow looks like a beamer 😮
Buick definitely nailed it in the styling department!
Watch for roof leaks. There is a service bulletin out for it.
Damm- how did manage to screw that up😊
@@federal6616 Seam weld where the roof and side pnels meet. just look for pin holes.just look up envista roof leaks.
I bought mine two weeks ago and I love it !
Glad to hear it! We're seeing tonnes of these on the road, it's a real success for Buick.
The front end looks like a 2023 Kona and the back end looks like an Infiniti q55
I don't disagree!
Very narrow front seats.
Doesn't look like a Buick Invicta.
Underpowered. I'd pass.
What is super-cruise?
We've covered GM's Super Cruise several times on the Cadillac Escalade, CT6, Chevrolet Bolt EUV, and will be discussing it on the Cadillac Lyriq again soon. It's a hands-free driving aide designed to use GPS, LiDAR, cameras, and sensor data to essentially drive for you while on certain roads.
