Got excited for a second, then I remembered it’s probably only for new customers. I’ve had Mint for 6 or so years, but I’m switching to the Total $25 promo after watching you videos
One hack. I was planning on switching, so I called them (Mint) for the transfer PIN. They asked me what plan I am moving to, I mentioned US Mobile unlimited. So guess what, for 20 dollars, pm, they upgraded my plan to unlimited 40 GB. I thought it's a better deal than US Mobiles 17 dollar plan, so I went with it. You should contact their customer care too.
Can you make a video of how people have been using their main phone number on google voice and using call forwarding on a new number to get these deals since they’re for new customers only? I wish I can get this deal or others like total wireless but I lock myself in yearly mint mobile plans to save the most.
great video. there international roaming services sucks in Canada. I hope the other networks bring similar plans to match this deal. thank you for the information
Kind of defeats the purpose of mint mobile, it’s like going to Costco and complaining about why they don’t sell stuff individually. Selling it in bulk helps them keep it a little cheaper
@@ilikemen7859 If I go to Costco and they had a huge sale on case of water, I buy 2 cases but turns out I don't like the taste then I just screwed myself right. So no MM should do monthly to insure customers are happy with the service.
@@ilikemen7859he is right I won’t want to pay so much for service up front specially if I don’t like it if it’s month to month I can just shop around vs being stuck in a yearly plan
Thanks for the great money-saving tip on mobile service. I'd appreciate a video explaining when it's financially beneficial to pay off a financed phone early to save on monthly service costs by switching to a cheaper MVNO. Specifically, if I just signed a 36-month contract for a discounted flagship phone, how long would it take to recoup the early payoff cost through lower monthly service fees?
Note if you do run out of minutes, 512kbps suuuucks. It barely moves. Made pulling up a boarding pass before a flight a chore when I didn't realize I wasn't on wifi.
I’d just switched to US mobile from MINT less than 30 days ago. Does anyone know how long you have to be gone before you’re eligible again for new customer deals?
I had mint for 2 years, but the speed got way too low, to the point of being unusable during the day in urban areas. Probably deprioritized last in my area.
Cricket wireless, visible wireless and total wireless they already made a 25$ discount on the plans like both cricket wireless and visible wireless instead of paying 300$ and 120$ for 3 months your gonna pay 75$ and total wireless they already given customers a 2 year or 3 year for 25$ and the 50$ and 65$ plans will be double points for switching over to total wireless
Mint mobile needs to upgrade its 40gb plan to 50gb premium data or have it 75gb premium data the 40gb it's too slow and doesn't even work when you reach 35gb
They need to make mobile phone networks replace home internet, or make home internet replace mobile phones. Currently, I'm doing Spectrum with free unlimited mobile for a year. And after that year, I switch to a MVNO, then back on. It's a PITA, but paying for internet access in 2 places, when your device is always near you in the first place is stupid. To flip the script, I'd do US Mobile annual unlimited premium for $300whatever. 50GB hotspot data on any network is a good start. I think we should just turn our routers into repeaters and when you get home, you have the same internet you always have, at half the price.
@StetsonDoggett always following your research and advices bro. Keep up the great work! 💪🏻♥️ Just wish your app would also be as detailed for Android as it is for iOS. But again a great effort and respect for your time and efforts!
I switched to a mobile plan because they offered the first three months for $15 with unlimited everything, and it was amazing. So, I renewed for another three months. During that time, the service was a bit slower, but not enough for me to blame the carrier outright. I figured it was just a temporary issue-you know how it is, you make excuses when something has been great before. Honestly, the first three months were so good that I didn’t notice much difference compared to my previous provider. Then, I renewed for six months to save a little money, and that’s when things went downhill. The service got significantly worse. Before I had a chance to address it, they sent me an offer for a one-year contract. If I paid a higher rate-about 50% more than the previous six months-I’d get a full year with an additional 25% off and all the bonuses I’d already been stacking. It seemed like a good deal at the time, so I went for it. Big mistake. The service is awful. At home, I turn off my mobile data completely, and when I’m out, it’s embarrassing how unreliable it is. It’s through AT&T, and I do have their so-called unlimited plan, but it’s terrible. I wish I knew how to get my money back or at least do something about it.
Shame I only signed up for mint mobile last month for the 3 months for $15 a month. Suppose they care more about new customers than keeping old ones. As a result, I will be leaving mint mobile when the 3 month plan expires.

Same for total and most carriers, they mostly only care about new customers

That’s all carriers they want new customers from other carriers
@@jal.ajeeradude after one year mint is expensive for a pre paid carrier
Metro also has a BYOD $25 plan on T-Mobiles network.
$17.33/mo including tax and fees, 1 year paid upfront of course.
recovery fees and taxes are too much when compared without this deal. I would recommend to switch over after 1 year

Also keep in mind the price for Mint doesnt include tax. Its more like 18 dollars a month.
Can I buy the offer and activate later when my us mobile plan ends?
great video. there international roaming services sucks in Canada. I hope the other networks bring similar plans to match this deal. thank you for the information
Its a great plan but they need to switch to monthly payment. I'm sure majority don't want to pay upfront, especially if they don't like the service.

you think the total wireless 25$ monthly promo is a good choice?
Ye
its probably the best plan out there right now.
Can’t beat it!
Im using that plan out of the States, and sometimes I have 5G Roaming in MX, absolutely insane value
facts. nothing beats it. if they want to be better then can bring back their $15 dollars promo from September deal.
And, per your chart, Red Pocket has 720p streaming over Mint’s 480p.
It's not accurate
In what way? U never explained your comment.

3 months!
How was MINT service in comparison? Was it nearly the same in performance, network speeds, & connectivity?
Total wireless is too good
it will also become a better if they also match this deal.
Im a new subscriber guys!
I just signed up for their $15 unlimited plan for 3 months for their Black Friday sale. Could I still sign up for this now?
No
if you get a complete different line and plan. that is not under your old account
Nope. Isn't that lame?
Great video
Thanked for the video Stetson, what do you think about Consumer Cellular?
I do not think Consumer Cellular is a good value. I suggest looking at US Mobile or Cricket Wireless instead.
Only thing about them is that they only offer 5G and not ultra wide band or smth
It turns out Mint Mobile does offer 5G UC! They just do not show the 5G UC icon in your phone's status bar.
Can I bring my old number or do I need a new number?
You can bring your old number or get a new number. Both are eligible for this promotion.
@ thanks!

It’s only for new customers. Will transfer from mint to another carrier and then back to mint work?
you can't bring back a mint number, unless you ported the number from a different network to mint. if its an original mint number then it won't work.
Ive heard they don't have great service
They don't

Yeah, I'm already a customer so they offered $30 off the 30 per month plan which brought it to $360 for the year and that is what I paid.
Otherwise I would have paid $390. I considered Visible thanks to finding your channel. Too bad existing customers don't get the deal.
US mobile, red pocket mobile, mint mobile they ripping customers by almost paying 400$ a year it's 300$ plus 100$ tax for the yearly mobile plans

Is only for three months 😂
They have a one year option too
I prefer monthly payments, I don't have the kind of money to spend it all at once lol otherwise I would probably get these wholsale plans
