It is sad that most people will never experience what it means to be on a well built Turbo Hayabusa. I ride bikes myself, I have been a passenger on many different bikes before I started riding myself, but NOTHING even comes close to 400+ hp Hayabusas (besides ones with even more horsepower), it literally feels like you are warping through time. I was a passenger, when the Turbo kicked in it took my breath away, and that is not just a phrase, it literally made me stop breathing in the first moment. It's just fucking ridiculous.
@@NoControI Mostly my uncle, a lot of trial and error involved, it did cause the life of two engines and a turbo though. It's not cheap and pretty time consuming. But once you make it run properly it pretty much runs like a regular bike in terms of service needed.
Wow that's awesome! The reason that Hayabusa engines are so special is because they are 1340cc which is huge, but also Hayabusa engines have a really long stroke engine compared to liter bikes. A 2nd generation Hayabusa has a 2.6" stroke versus a 2.0" stroke for a bike like a new R1 Yamaha. This is why a Hayabusa is actually one of the most fun bikes to ride, because they have incredible torque, even more low end torque than a Kawasaki ZX-14. Long stroke engines work exponentially better for turbo charging too. A turbocharger makes the combustion process (explosion in the combustion chamber) longer in duration due to more air and more fuel crammed in the cylinder, which requires a longer stroke to take full advantage of the longer combustion cycle. Theoretically if you have a short stroke engine, it won't make as much horsepower at the same level of boost.
@@LiphzzySorry I’m 2 years late, but I’m new to the whole turbo thing, will I just go to a motorcycle mechanic or custom shop and they just build a string turbo Hayabusa for me? Like 500 hp and higher?
You’re the reason I got into motorcycles as a kid back in 2017. It’s grown into my greatest passion in life and I’ve been riding everyday for the last three years. Congratulations on 1 million! You deserve every one of them!
I returned to riding in 2020 after many, many years. It is also my passion and I've went from 1 to 3 motorcycles in the last 2 years. I only wrench on one of them (KTM 690R), but have done a lot to it and still have a backlog of projects for that particular bike. Enjoy and stay safe, brothers.

I started riding on the street in 2017, right around that time I discovered this channel and absolutely fell in love with the goofy nature of your jokes. Since then I've owned a number of bikes finally culminating this year in purchasing my dream bike - a 2020 Triumph Street Triple RS. If you were to ask me 4 years ago that in a couple of years I will be riding my dream bike into the sunset I would have laughed at you hard. Yet here I am, half a dozen bikes and two hard years of pandemic later, a different person. A person that I'm proud of even if it wasn't always the case. Thanks Yams and the team, you guys rock and deserve it. To anyone reading this and feeling down - hang in there, it gets better in the end.

I agree 100% I started binge watching this channel the night before I bought my first street bike, has been very educational and extremely entertaining. I cant wait to see what comes next
Congrats, Yammie and team! Since we're all getting sentimental here, I figured I'll share my own experience for how you guys got ME onto my first bike. Before this summer, I knew literally NOTHING about motorcycles. Nothing about how they work, nothing about what styles are out there and, heck, even nothing about proper gear for one. But I resigned myself to do something new this year and learn how to ride, and I watched your videos on the different styles or bikes you can get, the proper gear, the generals for how motorcycles work, and much more. I looked at your footage of you guys riding and saw how intimate the road and landscape become while you're riding, and that just motivated me even more. 6 months later, I've been out riding with friends and can proudly say I own a 2019 Honda Rebel 300 as my first starting bike, just like the meme. So, truly, thank you for being such a good channel with easily accessible and digestible information for noobs and veterans of the sport alike. Well done on 1,000,000 subs!
