I wish 0:18 was in the film, would of been a great way to see how strong Ultron was with moulten metal pouring over his arms and body. I kind of wish Ultron was a bit more scary in this film. The trailers made Him sound scary, but in film He felt more comical than scary.
Looking back now, what would have been amazing was if they would have made Age of Ultron, a two part movie since it's Age of Ultron it should have lasted longer than a couple of days 😂 should have made him feel more threatening and made him take longer to defeat!
I'm literally watching Pinocchio right now, and I paused it to watch this trailer because I remembered how epic and intense it was. The trailer is the film for me. The actual film was alright.
You clearly don't know joss Wheaton writing, anyone who does would know that ultron dialogue was all Wheaton from buffy angel firefly even cabin in the word which is a horror.
god watching this trailer 5 years later and 1 year after endgame makes me feel so weird. This trailer is so good, it really depicts the upcoming demise of the avengers and what would then happen in civil war. If I saw this in cinemas at the time I would have been so hyped to see this film, genuinely. AoU was one of my first mcu films and I’ve always wanted to see it in cinemas, so I feel like this would’ve pushed that desire so far, all in all it’s one of the best mcu trailers I’ve seen
I was expecting this film to be a bit more on a scary vibe. The trailer made it feel scary, but the film itself was not really scary at all. I thought Ultron was more comical than scary in the movie. I still loved the film dont get me wrong. But I do wish we had a scary Ultron.
it was in a sense. Ultron caused the Sokovia accords which made the Avengers break up and the Russo's confirmed that the reason why they lost in Infinity War was because Civil War was not made up.
I remember being so hyped and terrified that Ultron was finally making it into The MCU. I was expecting a Dark, Vicious, Emotionless and overall psychotic Ultron like the ones from Next Avengers HOT, EMHs & Etc…….Instead we got Tony Stark in a robot’s body🤦🏽♂️
"There are...no strings on me." The way he said it, so sinister and drawn out, was absolutely evil and I was so bummed they didn't have the trailer rendition of it in the final film. Trailer was incredibly well done though and I still come back to it from time to time. James Spader was such a brilliant choice for Ultron.
Now imagine this movie with a mad bastard director who had no strings attached and could really bring about......the AGE OF ULTRON. Rather than just “the roughly one week of Ultron the screwed over some nothing country in the middle of nowhere that we’re all supposed to care about. I enjoyed it enough but Ultron never truly felt dangerous like Thanos did. There wasn’t really that heart wrenching feeling that the avengers had met their match. The whole world should’ve been effected and in a huge way. There should’ve been entire swaths of the first world left in ruins, the avengers should’ve been tattered and beaten down, the world on the brink of collapse. The fallout from that should be the cause for Civil War. Not “yeah this guy who lost his wife got ahold of a book with codes in it and made Bucky kill the leader of some third world country run by a technocrat and then the avengers had a brawl at an airport where no one died.........come to think of it the marvel universe is basically just a ten year long case of blue balls that only paid off with Thanos. And even then nothing was permanent. The avengers never truly Avenge anything. Really they’re just Prevengers. And now they’re going for the Woke/Broke model rather than just letting it be over with.........
Scarlett Johansson was pregnant during filming, so many of her scenes were scheduled early in filming before she began to show. To help hide her pregnancy later in filming, three stunt doubles were hired. This caused a lot of confusion amongst the other actors since, according to them, all of the stunt women looked very similar to Johansson. Chris Evans stated that it got to the point where he would say hello and start a conversation with one of them only to realize midway that the person he was talking to wasn't Johansson. Ultimately, some scenes used CGI to hide Johansson's belly
Their apartment was destroyed whilst the avengers were fighting someone, that’s why they were yelling (keep in mind that this was also before they were experimented on from the space stone.)
@@inkygoat4315 yes it was the mind stone not space The tesseract was the space one but it's understandable why they got them mixed up they are both blue But there was a scene of them taking a yellow stone out of the secepter
5 years old and still my favorite movie of 2015! The first movie was a fanboys dream come true seeing multiple heroes come together and try to get along But it did take an hour and 42 to get the crux of it all Here, this was way more entertaining balancing the character moments as well as the action Love James Spader as Ultron next to Scarlett Witch almost tearing the Avengers apart And this movie paved the way for the next couple of films for the showdown with Thanos with the Infinity Stones The score is really good too
This is the only trailer that has made me go WhahhhWhooooo and get goosebumps every time, it’s the creepiness of the music and the voice of Ultron saying he has no strings on him. God I love this trailer.
2021 and you'd wish they would've done a horror type movie. It was still the same ol' schtick. Villain plan to destroy the world and the heroes still make jokes. The darker tone was the lay out. The first Avengers seemed all bright and colorful. This one looked like if it were shot for a middle east movie
Unpopular opinion... but I kinda prefer this movie over The Avengers (2012). Don't get me wrong, the first one is freaking amazing, but to me this one had a little bit more weight to it.
Except the weight part was what turned me off from this. Every robot in this movie felt like weightless dolls. They were large in number but they were really weak, even Ultron himself.
This movie was good. However, i really would've like if Ultron would feel as menacing in the movie as he feels in this trailer. Count your blessings, i guess.
In this movie Tony Stark and Bruce Banner created Ulltron. So how was he supposed to be so perfect and not have an exact motivation ? He was insane and obsessed but still lacked a specific motivation. What to do at the end of the Battle. The Avengers had to help Tony and Banner get their motivation and End Game, but no one was able to do that for Ultron.
I took it to mean that the Avengers are controlled by moral codes, loyalties, laws, etc. Hence his comment, "You want to protect the world, but you don't want it to change." In the actual movie it was changed to HIM being tangled in strings, referencing Stark and Banner's attempt to create an AI under their control.
Really wish they kept the "there are no strings on me" scene in the final cut, it makes Ultron seem so much more menacing
He did say that

If only the film matched this trailer's tone.
"Strings..."
I could listen to that voice forever and I'd watch anything if James Spader was in it.
But now I’m there are no strings on me chilling this needed to go that gritty dark route unfortunately it didn’t
Still think that Disney interfered with this movie. I think Ultron was supposed to be dark not comedic
I actually liked his personality. He was funny but had unpredictable outbursts and he even cut someone’s arm off
You clearly don't know joss Wheaton writing, anyone who does would know that ultron dialogue was all Wheaton from buffy angel firefly even cabin in the word which is a horror.
He was supposed to be the shadow to Tony Stark.
I agree he was supposed to be just like Stark...the only thing I complain about this film was they should give it more time than the original duration
Would have been way better if he was dark
Bro at the end when he said “there are no strings on me” his red eye cuts into the avengers logo thing that is so dope

ultron was supposed to be the prime villain of the avengers
Actually that was Thanos. As far as the movie universe goes.
In the comics I get that but in the MCU Thanos was always meant to be the main villain
it was in a sense. Ultron caused the Sokovia accords which made the Avengers break up and the Russo's confirmed that the reason why they lost in Infinity War was because Civil War was not made up.
@Jexel Bur in the comics he was a prime villain
Ultron is a metaphor villain of AI in 2020 now.
00:39 OMG his voice..James 😍
Trailer: serious :actual movie Ultron making jokes and avengers telling him he sounds like iron man XD
Still, this has to be one of the best super hero movies, especially for Avengers. I have watched this more than any of the others.
I actually wish it was this gritty. When my 14-year-old self saw this, I was pretty underwhelmed, but I didn't understand that yet.

The avengers should have been scrambling to find solutions and counters and ultron should have proved to be enough of a threat to merit it
Can’t wait to see it in theaters......wait
Only avengers movie I care to rewatch simply because I thought Ultron was so cool as a kid and at the time he was an overpowered Heroclix figure. Yep.
This Battle is not save the world, is resolve their mistakes.
