Tony is a emotional person, and his guilt finally caught up to him, Civil War and many other things were the result. Mind you, i still like that Tony more then this one, Tony has made a LOT of mistakes, often times by just being a asshole (Killian is one such good example).

Back then he was the only superhero, and he damn well knew it. He knew he was top-dog. Maybe not because of the Hulk, but he barely cared. He was making the world a better place, and EVERY piece of military up to now (that he, for the most part, had invented and knew by heart how to dismantle and destroy), was not as advanced or as strong as he was. So he was 'top dog', and he was arrogant for it. Makes total sense. But then he saw an army of Chitauri rain down. Then he peeked behind the curtain and realized what he had just spent the last afternoon fighting was only the first, 'easy' wave, and he realized there was an entire army capable of destroying the earth. So he got scared, made mistakes, and now he'd rather try to fix his mistakes and make sure the world is ready for an alien attack, rather than smart-mouthing his way into thinking he's still top dog, when he clearly isn't.
Relationship advice people: Ew, he said "You complete me". That means he hasn't fixed all his problems. You are in a toxic relationship. If you marry him, you'll regret it for the rest of your life.
Also the guy who is put in a cell with Ivan is the same guy in front of tony in Ironman 3 when Killian has him hostage. He is one of the two guards guarding tony when his suit flys on him.
I know. It's not that Don Cheadle's a bad actor or any thing, but Terrence Howard was so perfect for the character. It seems like they just thought, "oh let's just get another black guy in to take up the role of James Rhodes: any old negro'll do! " Which isn't to say that Don Cheadle or for that matter Terrence Howard can be called "any old negro," but at least Howard looked the part. I mean why not get Will Smith to play hom in part 3; after all , he's black and has the tache gin on too!
Absolutely - I thought the were going to finally incorporate the Black Sabbath title theme into the suit-up and fight entry scenes. I understand why they didn't but even the mock-ups looks so BA when you combine the two.
