good video i really enjoyed. but i have a different experience with the 8k polling. usually was fine but when i started to play fortnite there was a massive difference with stutter from 4k to 8k polling (when i try to flick). if severely harmed my frame rate and i have a decent pc so im not sure with the issue it is on that game but it was good everywhere else
@@jerrorr yes i am on windows 11, and i mainly play overwatch and valorant i can only remember only 1 occasion for each game that it stuttered. But for fortnite its every time. it drops frame rate down to 20 when i do a simple 180 turn, i play low settings (with a 6800xt gpu and 5800x cpu and usually get +300Fps on 1080p) and once i take off the 8k polling rate it gets back to normal. i get its a beta feature just want to also share my experience and hope it gets fixed later on
Finalmouse's firmware is top class but their QC is still disappointing on the Tarik models. Glad you got a decent unit but mine and many others have left click problems (grinding and wobble).
@@jerrorr if my perfect right click is a 5/5, my left click is a 2.5 or 3/5. Usable but very distracting and feels like it might get worse in the future
@@sa17dkif it gets really bad I can recommend sending it to Finalmouse for repairs. They might take a week to respond but the whole repair process on my ULX lion was very good and fast. Sucks to send a mouse back tho.
what are those skates you have on there? i have the ulx mini from the 2nd batch and im kinda sick of my skates and want something super smooth if those are that
@jerrorr I have the first batch ulx lion and it is pretty good. But just got a beast x mini today, going to give that a go later. Thing is insanely small, smallest mouse I have in my collection by far. Second being the sl12 small and darmoshark m2 magnesium.

Did you try it with other games? Are you on windows 11?

Beast X Mini is safer option in terms of qc. Firmware is better on ULX, but availability is a lot worse.

I think the mini is slightly smaller and flatter than the cheetah, and the colours for the mini are such a big positive in my books lol

Used mine for about 5-6 hours and I can already see slight stains on the main clicks. This new coating sucks 😂😂
Soft touch is always risky 😬 you could try 70% alcohol but sometimes nothing works for the stains.
