That K5 Blazer in the beginning and the Nova looked pretty good to have. oh and yes that paver is mounted to the back of a dump truck for really small projects
Bracket on the side of the dump body is where a tarp arm bolted on same as our trucks where I work but our talented backhoe operator removed it while digging.

Decided to Subscribe to your channel I use to live in Skagit county,and now live in Idaho but nice to see Washington , don't miss all that rain.
Not that I want to give all my secrets out, but a lot of the wear and tear in a cab is a good indicator of how many times a person got in and out of the truck. I would open a door of auction trucks, and look at the brake pedal to see how much wear was on the rubber pad, if there was little wear but high miles, you would know it was a highway truck!!

New style clear radiator tank have the low level indicator slide up and down inside tank making ding when full and swapping tank isn't that easy and switch don't always fix. I jumped wires to get buy folk weekend and caused lots of issues clashing against themselves

The good thing about auctions is that you can get something for a really good price. The bad thing is that you don't know what kind of condition it's really in until after you buy it. As a general rule I will avoid a patrol car or squad car. More often than not they are really beaten up and you are going to have to replace or rebuild everything. But if you can get your hands on a detective's car it can still be in good condition.

I love auctions. Did you end up buying anything? That KW dump would be nice, but im not too crazy about aluminum dump bodies. It limits the trucks use.😢

I’m a little surprised to hear the 08 was a really nice truck. Seems like it was road hard. Do you guys check the oil and blow by?
Usually a good sign of a well kept truck can be seen by fluid levels. I’m a retired heavy equipment operator and I’ve hit those tarp springs at least a couple of times usually positioned right the center of the grill!
I drive a 7 axle dump truck 4 lift axles I can haul 25 tons I'm in Las Vegas it has an aluminum bed my friend who I drive for I tell him that's the worst mistake you can do aluminum bed you're limited what you can do I can't hold big broken up pieces of concrete or asphalt broken up pieces I also drive one of his semis the truck has a pusher axle and I pull a 5-axle side dump I can put 33 tons in that
It may have pulled a pup with a turntable that had a hydrolic lock pin for backing
Never seen one of those hooked to the PTO
That's identical to the one I drive 😢
