You hope this was helpful? ABSOLUTELY it was helpful!! I've never tried running a track on my Ultrex because I've never seen how to do it until now. Thank you SO much for this video. Now I've got some homework to do. LOL
This video made my day! When I go out trolling Its going to make my day on the water. Been manually controlling mine for over a year thinking I needed a hummingbird graph to do this.
I've been laying and running tracks for a while now and love it. Never tried doing it at speed, tho, so I learned something!! Another pro tip for you: when you see youre getting toward the end of your track and you just want to turn around and run it again, just hit "Reverse" and it will just turn you around and go back over the track again in the opposite direction. Just one thing to hit. VERY IMPORTANT!!! Make sure you reel in all your lines before hitting Reverse or you'll have a mess!! 😂
Thanks Mike you just saved me some headaches trying to figure that feature out....we have some awesome tools at our disposal these days i remember when i got my first handheld gps many many years ago and thought how great that was i could fish 30 beds a day with that little garmin versus looking for beds all day oh how far we've come.
Awesome video Mike. Learned a ton. I’ve been doing the manual poor man’s version of this. This should make it easier. Especially the cruise control. I’m always just manually changing the speed
Also, I hope to help you out with some information Mr. Baker??!! You can get a Kippiwa 3 bladed prop for your Ultrex off of EBay and it’s pros are more power and speed when trolling and the cons are you can’t use the Eliminator Prop Nut and have to use the regular prop nut and of course you will have some of the vibrations that the Eliminator Nut eliminates but for me the 3 bladed prop is awesome!! 😊
I probably learned more on how to use my I Pilot with your video than using it over the last 2 years on my own. Thanks for this great video Mike! One question: If I hit Spot Lock while running a Track (because I need to net a fish) when I hit Spot Lock again will it resume the course of my track?
Pretty sure the faster you are going the less resolution you'll have in the track accuracy. Not a problem unless you need to follow a tight turn, which I know I avoid at all costs when pulling out of the back, but could be a factor if pushing out of the front where tight turns are doable.
@@MikeBakerVideos what if your terrova isn't connected to a graph? I run all Garmins and figured I'd have to have at least one Humminbird graph to be able to do this...

Thank you Mike for taking time to explain the I track system
Folks that is how a "how to" video is made. Excellent TY!
Excellent. I didn't know I could record with the outboard. I will give it a try.
Ty Mr. Baker!!! I told you that we needed this video and it will probably end up being one of your greatest videos of all time!!! 😊😊😊
Another great video keep up the great work thanks so much for the help really have learned a lot from your videos thanks so much all you do

Thanks Mike for doing this video really helpful.
Thank you for this video! I had no idea how to record a track, now I think I do! Is there anything else you could teach on the remote?

Could you tell, if I activate track in the middle of track, is it possible to start from the middle?
@@AndrejsIvanovs-n3q not sure.
Can this be done with a Terrova as well?
Yes, if it has IPilot.
