I decided to learn switch 10 years later. I love looking like a person that just picked up skating. When I notice someone judging me I can't hold my giggle, I keep skating switch. Then they see me do a waist high heelflip and I surprise them. It's quite funny.
Haha was practicing switch back shuvs and some guy came up and tried to give me some tips. "With all due respect my guy." Busts out a double flip. "I'm practicing switch."
@@freshbud6113 LOL that's the thing abt switch, absolutely nobody will be impressed you are doing switch tricks except people who know your normal stance. it's more for yourself and taking your board control to a new level
My issue is with trying to nollie up or over something. I generally have ghost pop and can't get up the object. If I come at an angle it's a little easier but still not consistent. Would love to be able to nollie into grinds but I struggle with missing the pop... I can usually nollie ok without anything in front of me tho... I'll give your tips a try. Thanks.
Thanks, nollie tutorials are pretty scarce and there are a lot of specific tips in this i look fwd to trying! I can ollie fairly well but getting the pop using my other leg for a nollie feels incredibly clumsy and like I just started skating. I'm still unclear whether it's that way for everybody at first or whether i'm just so un-ambidextrous that i will never get it. i'm not used to feeling that clumsy on a skateboard and it makes me not even wanna try/practice them
You can do a tutorial on how to do fakie ollie. When you go from nollie to sw, it's hard for your feet to find a good position to explode the fakie ollie.

Haha i usually stop riding switch but yea fuck it keep it pushing and have a laugh
Oh, yes! Just landed my first nollies at the tender age of 48. Gotta get them consistent now. Thx, Tom🙂
My pleasure! You're inspiring!
Hey that’s my age. Might need to match ya
Finally, a good video telling you how to nollie. I’m a new skater and this helped tons. Keep the vids up🔥
Do nollie nose both ways & nollie crook both ways
I’m 47 and back at it. The old skater’s are taking over
One tip I heard years ago from Jeff Lenoce is to push your front foot forward after you pop it helps prevent air foot
Why can i nollie but not ollie 😭
Ur probably riding in the wrong stance
Since you’re on nollies, nollie heel and/or kickflip would be nice for a future video. 👍
Definitely will be doing these soon!

From what I got from this vid, I believe my issue is not sliding my foot back fast enough. I’ll try that next skate!

How can I do a switch Ollie but not nollie to save my live and I don’t even practice switch like I do nollie lol
Dude you are some weird skate prophet. Spent yesterday trying nollies and looking up tutorial. This is what i needed so badly, thanks again man.
Lol sounds like this one was made just for you. 🤝 Seriously though, I love knowing this!
I actually find nollies to be easier than a regular ollie for some reason.

“Just like with your ollies” I think you just fixed my ollie! Even if you didn’t, this just expanded my understanding. Thank you!
My pleasure dude! I love when tips unexpectedly help out with other tricks!
Dude seriously this helped my understanding too!
