Thanks for being us with you! Your process is professionally designed to include your subscribers within all your "life parts" of your hunting journeys! I appreciate that so much as it means you enjoy transferring valuable information from your investments that can help and leave with so many everyday hunters like me visions of unfulfilled tomorrows dreams! I just love getting to learn, and travel with you. One Ole Vet that can't climb much now, but it tickles many memories of trips and even plans we didn't get! Keep it up! You're Father must be proud! Pretty awesome experience. You definitely tried your way, but couldn’t find the size you were looking for. Nothing wrong with hunting over bait, it’s a great management tool and takes a bunch of time and effort to set up properly. I want to go bear 🐻 hunting so badly. My brother and Dad are heading to Maine, I wish that I could join them.
Certainly don't see Lynx very often! That was an awesome encounter, great video!! Sad not to see the arrows fly though.. Otherwise you'd have a thumbs up
how north were you? I did a moose hunt in N alberta and I swear you were on the road we were on to get to our guides place. what was the nearest town?(I am trying not to name locations for obvious reasons
Cool video, I appreciated watching your patience play out, but why did you exclude the kill shot? Honestly that was disappointing, we shouldn’t sterilize the hunting experience like that. Just my opinion though.
Thank you for watching and commenting, I appreciate you taking the time. It is always something I ask myself when producing a TV show and there are many different opinions on this topic. In this particular case, I didn't feel like the shot would add to the overall story I was trying to tell. I always hate to disappoint a viewer though, hopefully you'll enjoy the next one better!
In most cases I'd agree with you but I made the judgement that I wouldn't help tell the story any better. This was the cleanest classiest way to depict the hunt for the reason I appreciate. Thank you for watching and for your opinion though, I really appreciate it.

Great video! Thanks for sharing! Love hunting bears in the spring in northern alberta as well! What broadheads do you use for blackbears?
Thank you! I used a G5 Mega Meat on this particular hunt and had great results.
Love it, Hombre.

We were north of Athabasca.
@@jasonmatzingerofficial right on. we were further north . North of Manning.
Beautiful country!
thanks for the video. Just curious, why not show the shot? I'm guessing for ethics but thought I would ask.
Thank you for asking. I didn’t feel the shot was needed in this instance to tell a good story.
Is this from 2024? Haven't seen any bears out in Alberta yet.
Never mind, just finished watching the video haha
I hope you enjoyed it!
Good show
Glad you enjoyed it!

Tough life ahead that's for sure.
@@jasonmatzingerofficial I love all your videos young man
Come on include the shot it’s a part of the hunt and shouldn’t be filtered out.

Not pine trees, spruce trees.
Fun fact: Spruce trees are part of the Pinaceae (pine) family. Once again thank you for watching!
@@jasonmatzingerofficial fair point.
