I’ve been playing Outlaw for random queue BGs, and I’m finally almost done with purchasing a full honor gear set, but as I’ve climbed the ladder my main goal in all BGs (to remain as useful as possible) has been to CC the absolute F out of people. CC flag carriers as much as possible to stall them and let my team find them/kill them, or CC underdefended bases so I can steal them without even killing the other players, lol. All that being said, which rogue would you say is the most efficient for surviving and having the most CC? Do all rogues share all the same CC ability pool now? Do assass or sub have more than outlaw? Is outlaw still the most movement privileged because of grappling hook, sprint, and shadow step?
Do you have any tips for managing the sheet volume of keybinds we have now with the new talents? Can’t remember ever having to bind SO many abilities that are used regularly.
So since they nerfed rotten down to 30%, do you think it’s better to go down the eviscerate route as shown in your video or is rotten still more viable? Also big thanks for the tips as always
Assa is mega good tbh, probably more viable altogether than sub. Not much has changed since my pre patch video but if you have questions come by my stream or discord!
@@Palumor It feels bad going to sin after sub because having two vanishes (with bubbles) to only one with none really sucks. Honestly just make two vanish on rotating cd baseline for rogues at this point.

I havent been able to play for a week something I was wondering is the FOK slow worth getting and swapping to mind numbing vs casters and just slowing them with FOK.
Is there anywhere for me to look for reliable guides/tips for just getting into general pvp? Its nice to be able to find very specific vids for particular builds etc. but as someone who's trying to break slightly out of the casual sphere of pvp in general id like to get some insight on strong approaches to actually getting a competitive edge/mindset for WoW. Covering metas for each BG and Arena for example.
Tbh I do coaching for gold as the season starts if that's something you're interested in. But for someone in your position the best thing I can recommend other than coaching is just hanging out in r1 streams. Some streamers are super helpful with answers like myself, Kalvish, Nahj etc and just ask hundreds of questions. Learning is all that matters, we play a game of knowledge!
I need an update build I tried with dance macabre it seems pretty good too idk I can get too 150k evisc with shadow dmg but it's weird it takes a lot of time to build dmg
I love how all these classes got hit, dh barely got a slap on the wrist. Windwalker was ignored. DKs are literally dead now. Yet bear druids and prot warriors are nearly unkillable

Definitely possible but very suboptimal. If you get cc’d or mess up during a cast sequence macro (enemy trinkets) it can become a mess. The rotations are super simple! I’d highly recommend just practicing.
once a expansion releases barely a month in, they nerf rogues first every patch, and then they'll buff some shitty 3rd world spec no one plays and then they'll keep buffing that for no reason like when outlaw came out was like shit then they buffed it to s grade
The assass rogue nerf seems a bit much. I get the damage nerf and even a cd nerf but damn from 45 secs to 3 min? It doesn't even line up with our other main dps cd. Should've just made it a 2 min cd from 45 secs :/
Lol. They reverted back to the nerf that's been in place since season 1 shadowlands. I hate when rogues unintentionally are one shotting because then there's an outcry for rogue nerfs and blizzard inevitably doesn't understand their own design flaws and ends up doing sweeping nerfs for a handful of abilities instead of the problem spell + talent interaction.
@@mexcellent227 So true. People seem to not understand how burst specs work. Burst specs are for control as your damage greatly falls off. This is what always made sub fun, was having those moments and then focusing on CONTROL. I have been running dungeons as sub and its super fun in PVE and bursty too. I would love to have DFA days back, but this is still better than the spec has been in mythics since Legion. I really hope they don't cater to people complaining and ruin it.

Atleast this time they didn't nerf it by 200% like they did start of shadowlands (50% to base damage and 50% on conduit). Remember it went from hitting for 9k to hitting for under 3k
Basically we move through the talent tree for the next best thing every time there is a nerf, until there is nothing left, as Blizzard completely disregards the point of the talent trees and the meaning of choice and different playstyles. Neat.

if you think echoing reprimand doing 65k-70k now is bad then maybe you shouldnt play a rogue. you should just re roll meta classes lock,dh, and spriest which you have of course meta.

I had thoughts of switching sides and going for that recipe for the damage increase below 30% but even then, that seems meh and would throw off the build in general.

Sub rogues def have more cc since they can use stealth abilities more often such as cheap shot and sap

assa is totally different and both are good. I think with mage sub will always be better but with spriest or lock - assa might be better
I recently played sub rogue alt and didn't have enough points to get shadow dance, but I still had it. Bug lol?

Just keep things simple. Just press stun and kyrian/strike/evis. Don't overthink it!
