Thx so much for this! After watching this video on 0.25 speed, I realised he switches his polearm around from right to left hand and back. Never noticed that he plunges with his spear in his left hand, though it really shouldn't surprise me to find a 2000+ year old yaksha ambidextrous XD Man keeping track of just his hands or feet position is so confusing, can't imagine having to animate all this stuff by hand. Also the butterflies surrounding him, just like with Hu Tao, might represent death / souls sth... I think they guide souls to the afterlife?
@@andieskywalker do you wanna know everything they toned down? well the op commented about the green colour shadows that follow him in his ultimate. they were originally very bright and looked cool now they are extremely dull and are no where near as cool and flashy as they used to be.
@@andieskywalker just search "beta xiao gameplay". also notice how fast he plunged in beta. even tho emailing mihoyo and giving them feedback to bring back his plunge speed won't do anything, at least I am trying and hoping others do too!
I could never understand how his plunge attackas and the slam at the end worked and whether I could physically learn these attacks and even now at slow motion I can’t decipher how he moves because he’s just too graceful 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

It's cause of the storyline he suffers karma for eternity which makes his attacks turn black when ult used and that is also why he loses hp using his ult
@@Ren-zf9ds agree. Totally makes sense why Xiao has so much jade accessories, his shoulder pad, his tatoo, his signature spear. In chinese culture, ancient Mayan call jade as medium for cleansing negative energy and and promoting healthy flow of energy through the heart. Which in Xiao case, he needed those Now i feel bad for not pulling his jade spear :(
Idk if i am right but he doesn't have a vision. He wasn't granted a power bc he is iluminated beast so his power just imitate the vision but it isn't a vision. And his true form is a bird i think.

Xiao must have been given his vision when he was saved by venti according to xiao's story it says venti's flute saved him, it must have worked as healing or just waking him up from some sorta coma.
I wish they'd made the transition between 3 and 4 more smooth (with the spear). It just sort of fades from the end of the 3rd hit to the beginning of the 4th and it's awkward. So fast you can't tell in-game but still lol. I like little details where it's fine-tuned to be really smooth.
I made a mistake on xiao rerun banner, I actually got xiao on his rerun but when i pull on his weapon banner, I got calamity queller (shenhe's 5* weapon) then I suddenly remembered that I put calamity queller on chart course, that calamity queller should be primordial winged spear, rip😭😭 Ps. Calamity Queller (shenhe's 5* weapon) is the polearm that I equip for xiao, it is still good tho :>

You’re not really explaining clearly but i think I understand your question. The primordial jade winged spear has some kind of ‘stack’ passive, usually it doesn’t shine. But when you stack it, it will glow greener
