Nice video! Definitely handy to have a steamer around - so versatile. I don't know why I didn't think of it before, but using a steamer on door jams is gold - no matter what kind of wash you're doing. Great tip! 👍
I love using my steamer. You can go so much cleaned with it. Do you think it would break down any protection you have on the outside? With that temperature and stream. I would think as long as you keep it moving and a safe distance you'd be good.
It’s another tool for cleaning. If used in conjunction with chemicals it boosts their cleaning power 10x. Just be careful not to burn anything. Keep it moving.
I don't think I would do Feynlab pure rinseless in a steamer. Feynlab wash products seem to pack a "punch" so to speak. I'm not sure if they would be safe for the interior of a steamer or not. It might work fine?, who wants to test it? Several people have done testing with ONR (myself included) and it worked fine in my steamer. Supposedly the addition of a rinseless wash sort of "supercharges" your steamer. Just using ONR or N914 (both of these don't have waxes or sealants in them) are perfect for steamers and cleans pretty good as well as leaving a perfect matte finish. I would recommend this "hack" for an enhanced steam clean. It's not going to blow your mind or anything as the steam itself (without ONR) is a pretty good cleaner and way to break down dirt and other contaminants, etc. But adding ONR definitely wouldn't hurt and probably give you a better overall cleaning experience. And that VX5000 looks like a really nice steamer. I've got the McCullough like 90% of most enthusiasts and a lot of professional detailers out there and it does pretty good but I would definitely like to upgrade to something like this machine at some point. I could tell right off the bat that this steamer was in a league above the McCullough just in steam production/volume of steam. That high setting when you were blasting off the engine cover looks like it did a really nice job, almost like a mini-pressure washer blasting away dirt and breaking down some of the grime on the hood. It also looks to be much better build quality. Nice video and a good topic.
@@joevanseeters2873 yes, I wouldn’t want to put Oure Rinseless in it either! This steamer is definitely high grade and commercial use. Very hearty with plenty of power(psi) for normal cleaning. It has that flood button which I haven’t seen on other steamers and that is excellent for certain circumstances, like waterless Wash or floor mats, even engine bays. I highly recommend it for the next step up. Now if I were to go higher it might be one of those CHIEF steamers with continuous fill although I don’t go through enough liquid to need all that. At Sema in 2019 I did play with Steam Americas (I think it’s called Optima), their $7000 unit and that’s insane.
@@DetailingBreakdown LOL, The Chief continuous fill with chemical injection has actually been on my "short list" of units I was looking at to upgrade to. But it is pricey for sure. I want my Kranzle pressure washer first. Then i'll go for the upgrade in a steamer! LOL This VX5000 looks like a great unit though.
Can you please share how the steamer is holding with the chemicals in it? Typically manufacturers are advising only water. I myself want to try ONR in Dupray NEAT or McCullough steamer. Any advise tips you would like to share?
@@DetailingBreakdown thank you so much for confirming. Hoping to use with regular water and ONR possibly could help with not building up salt and keeping the inside of the steamer clean. Appreciate you showing us newbies with so many different techniques and products to choose from. Definitely something will stick and would stay !!!

Thank you for watching! Yes, the steamer is definitely handy on door jams as well as many other parts.
Awesome video and tutorial/content good friend. What a steal 4 that steamer.
Ya, it was a good deal on that steamer
Great video. We in the dry west need to use these techniques to save water and get a great result.

Do you ever get those crease marks on the seat? The sides where your thighs touch. I was told steam cleaner would straighten it out but no luck here.
@@JC-JC20 nothing will fix crease marks.

Just keep it moving and you should be fine. It’s a great way to clean. Be careful of seals and emblems as it may be too hot for them.
ever tried using it in the air vents?

Could be used to remove stain from white seats in my Tesla?

Is feynlab pure rinseless also safe for interior and steamer?
It is, but I’m not sure it’s ok for the steamer

Just use a little. It hasn’t had any negative effects. Helps with the car cleaning as well

Stupid question putting chemicals into ur steamer doent harm it?I don't have a professional steamer that the reason 4 the question. B well brother
They will but this particular one won’t.
I am a detailer, I am almost positive that teslas are real leather , not fake leather! Steam can harm those seats very quickly 😢
Well, it’s not the real leather like king ranch trucks or like real leather jackets. But I’ll take that u think it’s real.
That will be $80.00 a car.
At least
