Out of all the wig styling content I've seen on RUclips in my 13 years of cosplaying, this is easily the best. I hope your channel gets tons more attention and subscribers!
@ It’s okay, when you can identify what went wrong and what to fix the next time that’s already progress! All the best for your second try!! You can try to remove the existing hot glue by heating it with hairdryer then rip it off
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! Your crimping and hairline tutorial are the best I have seen online. Any chance you will do a pig tail tutorial for character like Rebecca from Cyber Punk or Chibi Usa?
that's in the plans! I'm currently working on a ponytail one first, then twintails would be next. tutorials take a while so it may be out around early next year?
omg I didn't know you had a RUclips channel so glad to find u on here!! also may I ask if using uhu glue instead of hot glue for the parting would work?
I love your work and I was thinking of trying to make my own wig for a cosplay, so I have a few questions. What is some of the supplies you use and where do you get the wigs you use?
Ok this is INCREDIBLE - quick question though! Is there a reason you don’t do this same technique to do a middle part down the back as well? For example, for braids or something? I want to do a wig with middle part all the way down the whole head like 2 braids and I’ve never seen anyone show how to use your technique this. Any thoughts? Thank you! You’re amazing!
Hi! I’ve tried this a few times and I keep getting visible glue in the parting. Is there anything I can do to prevent that? I’ve tried adding more glue to each weft, less glue, and I’m still unsure what I can do. I appreciate any advice you have.
im struggling sm to make the wig fit my head esp around the ear area + sometimes the wig is too big that it looks & feel bulky on my head, sometimes the wig is also too small to fit. please help me 🥲
if you cant cut hair from the back and dont have a spare wig, cant you just use the hair you cut off from the middle for the part or will it not be enough?
Your styling skills are amazing (coming from a fellow cosmetologist) but I hate the texture of synthetic hair and how visible it is: I make my personal wigs out of human hair because of this very issue; yes synthetic hair holds the style better but the texture on each hair strand is to visible and I can’t I just can’t lol
I had the worst panic when I thought this video was going to be down forever, glad its back up tysmmmm
im sorry if you were in the midst of styling your wig with it >< i fixed the audio issue asap!

That's a huge compliment! Thank you so much!

Glad it was helpful! Tag me on my socials if you attempt this, I'd love to see it!
@ YES !! I hope it doesn’t turn horrible 😭‼️
Update: I failed because I left too many gaps between the chunk of hair 😭
I won’t give up tho! Perhaps second time is the charm!!

@@HanieCombalso i would love to see a momo ayase wig styling video !
omg I didn't know you had a RUclips channel so glad to find u on here!!
also may I ask if using uhu glue instead of hot glue for the parting would work?
If using UHU glue it would need a different method on construction since it doesn't have the strength of hot glue once it dries
@HanieComb ohhhh thank u sm for answering!
Thank you for this, ill try to use this method for mu feixiao's bangs (i just hope it didnt turn out terrible 😭)
good luck with it!!
I really love this tutorial serise
please keep upload other technic
thank you

The tools that I use are listed in the tutorials, and for base wigs you can find more info in a blog post i've wrote on my website www.haniecomb.com
Finaaally you have Yt channel !!
thanks for hopping over here! may i know where did you find me at first?

for that you may have to construct a hard shell base first, it's more advance than just the bangs~
@ thank you so much! I will reconsider. Appreciate your art and taking the time to answer!

you have to pack the hair tightly together so there are no gaps for the hair to show up~
A crimping tutorial as well would be much appreciated
i've already made one, you can check it on my channel~
So I was wondering how you’re able to have the hot glue not show after parting the hair, cause everytime I try pieces of hot glue make it through 😭
the hair needs to be packed tightly together so that there's no gaps for the hot glue to show
Awsome video!! Would this work for side parts? I have a wig that came with a middle part, and im not sure how i could make it a side part.
yes, it should work similarly
im curious, do u have different sizes of head mannequin to style different wigs?
Yes, I have a few, but often I still need to make some adjustments to fit exactly to the wearer's head
im struggling sm to make the wig fit my head esp around the ear area + sometimes the wig is too big that it looks & feel bulky on my head, sometimes the wig is also too small to fit. please help me 🥲
You can check the head circumference of the wig before you purchase to make sure it would fit snugly. Each factory have slight variation
hi haniecomb!! is it normal for the hair parting to have massive hairloss once you glue it on? is there anything im doing wrong??😭😭
you need to soak it with enough glue so that it gets onto every strand, even if there's minor hair fall, there shouldn't be any gaps shown
@ thank you !!
sorry if i missed it but how does the glue not stick to the wig head?
and is tacky glue the same as UHU
it's adhering onto the wig net and hair, not on the head mannequin
if you cant cut hair from the back and dont have a spare wig, cant you just use the hair you cut off from the middle for the part or will it not be enough?
if there's enough length that it blends in with the rest of the hair, it works too~
Your styling skills are amazing (coming from a fellow cosmetologist) but I hate the texture of synthetic hair and how visible it is: I make my personal wigs out of human hair because of this very issue; yes synthetic hair holds the style better but the texture on each hair strand is to visible and I can’t I just can’t lol
that must be a really expensive wig!
@haniecomb I buy packs of human hair wefts to construct my wigs it depends on the length but for just the materials it’s not that expensive
What hairspray do you use?
