MvC Collection, MvCI Beyond.....if Capcom announces a new MvC (which, based on this year's announcements, nothing is off the table????) I'm gonna lose it
Thankfully there's nothing here to C&D. This is just owners of a game modifying their files as they see fit. There's no piracy happening, and no profits are being made by the development team. Hell this drove sales of MVCI over the past week or so.
The last example I can recall was the recent mod for Call of Duty Modern Warfare remastered. IIRC they tried to reroute traffic to their own matchmaking servers, on account of all the custom content they had. These new servers didn't require a legitimate copy of the game to access, meaning it DID enable piracy on some level.
