I bought my Magsafe Charger in Germany and it turns out to be the fake one too. It came from Poland!! I would never buy cheaper Apple "orginal" product from eBay again.
I recently bought a fake magsafe, but when charging with my iphone 13 pro max, I noticed that it gets too hot. I would like to ask you if the real magsafe also heats And if that is normal? Should I still use this fake magsafe or not anymore? Because I have read somewhere that the original also heats up, but who better than you to confirm it for me
Apple iPhones are actually pretty safe. even if its hot like a grill nothing will actually happen. and iPhones are pretty smart even if the fake magsafe charger can go above 15 watt charging, your phone will still only take in 15 watt. so yes you could charge with a 240 watt wall brick that Apple sell and still the phone will only take in 20 watts for wire charging even if the brick supports 240 watts charging
The way to know it's genuine is to go into the 'About' setting of the iPhone and you'll see Magsafe Charger and its model number and firmware. But Apple should have put the serial number on the Magsafe, there's nothing on it at all

Hi! Does the original not overheat? What temperature is considered good? I bought one for 3 euros on Aliexpress and seems to work really fine. The heat seems controlled to me. It not super hot, but also not cold, but I can touch it without problems. I guess something like 40-45 degrees celsius.

You can compare the prices. Apple's original wireless charger is twice as expensive as this so-called "fake" charger. As a factory producing wireless chargers in China, I can tell you that the principles of the two are the same. Moreover, Apple's suppliers such as Belkin, Baseus, and UGREEN are all produced in China. Even Iphone is produced in China. Especially after the new standard QI2.0 released by the Wireless Charging Consortium (WPC) last year, as long as the product is certified, the charging power can reach the same 15W as the original Apple. Now in China, the price of a wireless charging pad is about US$10, of course I have not calculated the shipping and tax costs for export to the United States and other places. Our company will certainly not produce products with the same appearance as Apple, but will have different appearances, and our customers are also many store owners like Amazon, or local accessory brands.
I brought the same charger. I found out with the battery meter (that is in the settings) that it is a very slow charger and that is with a 15w wall plug and the cover off the phone.
All it takes is a copy/paste function on a NFC tag and BOOM! It “works”. The MagSafe standard requires a 20w power supply, but for whatever reason these 3rd party copy’s are downgrading the watts to 5-10w, charging the phone slower than the phone dies, or just showing it’s charging but again, not charging at all. It’s interesting that the phone doesn’t recognize the slower speed and tell you it’s not compatible.... similar to 3rd party lightning cables not allowed to charge iPhones. Either way, I purchased a MagSafe on Amazon, doesn’t work, so I purchased the real deal, and I am looking forward to using it because I even got a little car mount I attached to my iMac by the Apple logo and it would be cool to watch RUclips videos or FaceTime while working. It’s interesting because the 3rd party one actually has a great magnet array and feels super attached, so I’m also looking forward to see if the Apple version is even better. Anyways great video!
Your local or in country distributor can claim they’re from California. But how they get their hands on them is vague. Most likely sourced from China. I guess they were just honest about the tracking. Also, an important question for me is.. are the dimensions of the puck exactly the same? Mainly for buying mount on stands.
I got a 5-6 filler one in black and when I use a wall adapter then it shows the MagSafe charging animation and it came with a usb type c to regular usb the magnet is surprisingly strong without case (the box looks the same but a black charger pad)
I got one a while back from eBay and now that I have the 12 pro max it like takes a while to connect and I only get the animation twice I thought that I got and official mag safe charger but i didn’t which is very upsetting
It could show that it can charge but give it more time and it will just heat up the phone and the phone will complain and say " Stopped charging due to heating" or something like that - this happens when it reaches about 81% of charging. I am sure this can potentially damage the phone.
@@deepanshtandon6871 yes since cords/lightning cables (fake ones) ruins your battery faster, and wireless chargers (any wireless charger fake/original) cannot harm the battery since it only sends magnetic waves and not like the cords which sends it directly to the battery
