The class 380s have only been operating the Glasgow to Barrhead route since early this year as the line was only electrified recently. Before that it was the older and noisier class 156 DMUs that operated the route. They still operate the route where journeys continue past Barrhead
@@777Trains I’ve never been on a Northern 156 only the Scotrail version and they have the infamous ironing board seats that a lot of regional trains have these days so not as comfy as the class 380s
@@gftyhify Ah yes, I know what you mean. The Northern 156's don't have those seats, they are more comfortable, you could always Google the interior of them to see the seats if you wanted to!
