Wouldn’t waste my money on a recast. The Sideshow Mark 3 released last year is much better. No arc reactor, no thanks.

Definitely some difference but not terribly far off from the original. Had the original licensed version many years ago from SS. Believe it or not the paint apps were not great on it either. The base paint flaked and chipped off. Right out of the box and there were some imperfections with bubbling and texture. So I returned it.

I love seeing something like this. I’ve been looking at other life size pieces and really are considering getting something at some point.
So looking at this piece I think overall it’s ok looking. I would almost say it looks like it’s homemade or from a “kit” that you make on your own from a mold.
So overall it doesn’t have that polished look that we are expecting from Stark, a shiny advanced looking technological piece so it puts itself up for scrutiny since Stark was so meticulous.
With that being said. This piece is great and would be perfect with just a bit of tweaking, some extra touches to make it perfect.
So overall this piece has so much potential! I agree this piece is kind of a good find because it’s close enough to capture the essence of Iron Man and for me that’s good enough.
Makes me wonder if there are other versions and I do want to see what this looks like after the enhancements you make.
For a third party piece it’s spectacular! Anyone would be lucky to have it.
Please if you are able to review the life size bust of Aquaman by Infinty Studio X Peguin Toys I would love that!

to be honest I'm always careful of recasts, I come from a props and costuming background and I generally don't like supporting recast. there's usually this notion of mushiness to a recast due to the nature that you're making a mold of the final product which has painted angle parts and if there's any slight imperfections those are accentuated with recasts. generallly speaking recasting is the lazy way of making something. in this item it shows in the paint I would be mind in repainting this and if it resin please ensure that you have the proper protective gear in a well ventilated area. I think this should be an interesting revamp.

Its a trash recast. The eyes arent even accurate, theyre suppose to be wider and mimic the curves of the faceplate. I would rather buy a blank kit and paint it myself.

@@JustinsCollection Sorry, I now realize I sounded like a dick. But we shouldn’t support these recasters. Theyre ripping off someone elses work and not doing a good job at that.
