He stayed where her calendar stopped - In her mind she thinks she is still the young and he just loves her the same everyday till they grow old together. And yes, I cried my eyes out too when I first watched this, and I still cry everytime i watch it again. Thanks for your reaction. Lee Hi does it again...This song is such a sweet ballad. It deserves to be heard more.
In the beginning the calender stop at 1996 which was the last time the guy receive the news from the doctor (about her condition probably alzheimer). Then when the guy start to dance alone at the hospital, he basically practicing and preparing for her favorite dance together. You can also see each of the scene is an reenact of them together again and again with the same cloth and enviroment from 1996 until 2021 september (which is when she is no longer able to keep up at the last scene). This MV literally made me teary. Especially the last sentence "I stay where your calender stops" 😭
I would say that I'd go back and rewatch to analyze the video better, but it's too painful 😭

The theory is that this is showcasing her with Alzheimer’s and she’s remembering all the moments with him when she was young. Just a theory though. And this made me cry too 😭
