Thank you so much for sharing this. I have nothing but mad love for this collective. They defined and owned an entire movement and as someone else mentioned, their music is even more relevant today than it was in the 90’s.
Living in the middle of the country a lot a bands don't make it on the radio, this would be one for me. My gosh this is good for being 24 years old. Still good....thanks for the upload too ;*
Listen up folks... your talking about a true symphonic artist... in 100 years the true value of this sound will be recognised... a single pearl in an ocean of stones.
Her name is Deborah Miller and she has been touring with Massive Attack right up until the present. She's in many of the other live videos on this channel.
hi, do you remember the track M A sang at Féile 95? this track is unnamed, thanks ruclips.net/video/AjqaUA1B2HE/видео.html&list=FLFXeMIPJjgLQUVwpTeBMWsw&index=3
i was at this festival the best festival i ever had the pleasure of going too and believe me i have been to alot surprised i,m still here to be fair lol
Was my first time at a festival, i was19, still remember. Stood next to skunk annansie watching the set from the front. Thanks Delj for that great memory. Hope youre doing ok thru all this madness #bristolmassive #onelove
Thank you for posting. Been a fan for years. New album coming? Am still listening to a few of the tracks on last EP, "The Spoils" and "Ritual Spirit". But "Unfinished Sympathy" is ever and always my fave and this lady sounds great on it even though she is is not the original singer. This lady is very sexy and I love her stage presence. It's the dark year 2020, and Massive Attack sounds as current today as they did in the '90s and in fact the mood of their music is perfect for today's surrealistic/scary chaos.
Winston's best bass playing on show here. lots of improvised runs and thumping. I think they asked him to reign that in to go for a tighter sound, but it adds so much!
Superb performances of all 4 songs. Especially Heatmiser, I think they should perform that song on all live shows, very powerful. Also great to see the use of an orchestra in their live sound, Overall tremendous. Wish I could be there.
Yes, there is only lyrics on the live versions of Heat Miser when they played it on the Protection tour. 3D reused some of those lyrics on Inertia Creeps later on.
i was there at this. strange one off fest or was it 2, was soooooo hot, no shade, you could only drink your beer at 8am. but yeh unfinished sympathy was amazing. how are they going to do that we were asking, well, see yourselves.....
I was 19 in 1996. 43 now. Being from Miami, if you actually knew who these bands were amongst others ((Tricky, Portishead, Groove Armada), & Shadow that will sample anything from anything) conducting a cohesive listening experience will separate from the status quo, and brand you "weird." It was always great to have one of those "status quo" babes who sometimes wandered off alone come to your house, take a tab, and when you were intimate with her whilst LISTENING TO THIS!! Ask you; "Are you an Angel?" and I will look at her pupil as it softly widened and recede like water on the seashore and say; "A bad one." Then watch her pupil overtake her cornea like a virus with speed. The next morning in school, she just wants to be your side..... That's right Miami High!! The weird kid fucked your cheerleader.
It's truly unfortunate because the groups you listed are just the tip of the iceberg of incredible music and the mainstream has never heard of them. Just keep doing your thing!
oooh LA-LA I JUS LOVE THE MAIN SINGERS SEXXY ASS VOICE..DEFINATELY IS AN EAR-GASM 2**♡☆¤MY EARS....WEN I HEAR HIS VOICE I GET CHILLS IN MY BODY..ABSOLUTELY LUV HIM AND LIZ FRASIER IZ BAD ASS LOVE♡♡♡HER TOO..SUM OF THE BEST COLLABERATIONS~¤♡☆..
@@Pedroleum100 Yeah, her performance was phenomenal, regardless of the reversed lyrics...& I'd have thought the same as your premise, had I not also heard her sing them in the identical manner 14 years later, at the Melt Festival...which was an even more astounding vocal effort by her, btw! Cheers & best wishes from "Down Under", my friend...
One of the top musical ensembles of the 90s. Their trip hop style was something quite new then, and still resonates so well today.
many of us:)
I'm watching in 10. 2024😊
Goung through a mad nostalgia moment..... 2024..... Still bloody brilliant xxxx
Songs as fresh today as they were that long ago, can still beat any songs going, such a massive band.
unfinished sympathy just sent a cold shiver through my body - literally. what a live performance that was
I was there. That version of Unfinished Sympathy gave me goose bumps then and still does.
That tambourine with that sexy ass bass and the deep vocals. Best version of Eurochild.
I was there, I came from Italy !
I was at Phoenix that year, amazing line up, best weekend, good times

Man, she is mesmerizing. Almost as much as the music, which says something!
I don't know why it took me so long to listen and enjoy Massive Attack.
This is exceptional talent in this entire group of artists. Amazing!
I was there and it was just unbelievable
Living in the middle of the country a lot a bands don't make it on the radio, this would be one for me. My gosh this is good for being 24 years old. Still good....thanks for the upload too ;*
Was at this gig. I wish the video showed the view from the audience because the backdrop towards the end of the set was the most beautiful sunset.
Just teared up watching this.
I was there, and always remember unfinished sympathy just as dusk drew in... most awesome in the true sense
Bet that was special
mick kane it sure was
Me too ..... and remember it just as you described .... was epic
Listen up folks... your talking about a true symphonic artist... in 100 years the true value of this sound will be recognised... a single pearl in an ocean of stones.
The 43 people that disliked this set go hide your head in shame.
This is a sick set.
beautiful

Stunning vocals
I prefer Shara Nelson's voice - to me, Nelson has a deeper, richer timbre - but there's almost nothing in it, an atom's width.
please include this info in the. description! been trying to find it in a lot of videos
No voy a dejar este plano sin antes haber visto a Massive en vivo!((💓)) Loveeeeed ((💓))

Old but GOLD! thanks so much for this!
I discovered them in 1992, but I've never seen them in concert :( Little chance of that 28 years later in Vancouver Canada.

Well said Pablo. Always have an open mind to music. The spectrum is enormous. Too big to focus on only certain styles or names
It's truly unfortunate because the groups you listed are just the tip of the iceberg of incredible music and the mainstream has never heard of them. Just keep doing your thing!
My friend say never wos on TV,en broke it, now is good.
I miss Mushroom's touch in the Massive sound. He was different from other djs succeeding him.
Carleliana agreed. Such a good DJ and a fun guy too

anybody know if guitarist is Bruschini? the one that will then plays guitar on mezzanine
Yeah it’s him!
я бы поставил лайк на каждую песню по отдельности.
Why does Deborah sing the original "Like a soul without a mind, in a body without a heart" back-to-front here?!
I think this she was just overwhelmed and very nervous. Kudos nevertheless to this performance.
