- In this episode, we install 13" inch Legends Revo Arc Rear Shocks with Remote Reservoirs on our 2005 Harley Davidson Road Glide. We purchased them through Deadbeat Customs.

Instructions for installation of 2009-2013 High Mount Reservoir Brackets on 1998-2008 Touring Bikes:
We were able to mount the Remote Reservoir Mounting Brackets for a 2009-2013 Touring Bike on our 2005 Harley Road Glide by removing the stock "U" bracket/ license plate bracket. To keep structure in the rear of the bike, I used "U" bracket delete plates (link below) that can be purchased by many suppliers. By doing this, I was able to mount the reservoir brackets to the fender struts and fender braces. With the mounts in this position, I am still able to utilize the stock quick release sissy bar mounts.
I used all hardware/spacers provided by Legends with no additional holes or fabrication necessary. The only additional hardware needed was four 5/16s lock nuts for the supplied 5/16 mounting bolts that would normally thread into the fender support.
One necessary modification, to achieve a more factory look, was to notch the stock fender strut covers to clear the spacers on the Remote Reservoir mounts.
The remote gas line was mounted to bracket where the rear hard bags mount.
To relocate the license plate below the tail light, I used a factory style light rear bar off of a 2009 and up touring bike.

It's a tough decision for me lol..I like true duals on certain model Harleys and 2 into 1 on others..like I've always said, it's your bike, do what you want to do lol...the both of you should flip a coin and see who wins lol..

That looks so good. I went with legends, too. They are so much better than stock. Even the new stock suspension is better than the air shocks. Now it just needs 2 into 1 exhaust

They look great, hey Tanya I noticed that you tighten bolts up the hard way, just a little friendly advice, if you tighten the bolt cranking down ,you have more leverage, then cranking up, not trying to tell you what to do or trying to offend you, if I did I'm sorry, keep making the great videos

so I live by the motto "happy wife happy life" but there's always this adder "unless a 2 into 1 looks better with these mods than a dual exhaust". My wife doesn't always agree with this caveat however once she see's that I'm right she will concede. lol looks great you two! and what happened to the red solo cup rating? 😂😂😂

I'm not much of a fan of those canisters sticking up like that but at the same time if they're going to be there I really think that they should be all black without the stickers just my opinion. KEEP THE DUALS.

I'm trying to do a similar "cleanup" on my '05 Road King - the rear looks awful with that misplaced grabbar. I moved the plate below the taillight, got an LED trim cover (to light the plate) - but I'm still unable to really put my finger on how I keep my sissy bar mount, once I remove that grab bar. Does it mount to the strut cover?

A lot of research. Really like what they have to offer with their adjustability and customer service

I have a dumb question the eliminator bracket I got a set an idk y but it seems my top bolts are to short did you guys get longer ones or use the stock ones
