    Bobby is absolutely gold. Definitely anti-stack and tilt and more traditional. What I like is that he is crystal clear with the key pieces of the swing. Get upper body behind the ball, start downswing by pulling arms down while not turning shoulders, and turn (not slide) through the shot. I have seen tremendous progress in my own swing in a short amount of time. Thanks for all you do Brendan. Your channel is one of my favorite channels on the tube currently. Brings me back to the first video I saw of yours years back when you gave instructions on how to create the swing plane training aid out of pvc pipe... Classic.

    Brendon these videos with Bobby are pure GOLD! I have moved my weight to the rear leg and stopped sliding, this has helped my ball striking tremendously by giving me more room to swing by arms more freely. Keep it up. Great golf content!!!

    This video does a good job of highlighting the problem with (most) golf instruction. Pros have a mold they want their students to fit into. Often, people practice and learn a good swing... but they didn't learn the best swing for them. Sometimes I think golf is just better learned on your own. But some teachers are fantastic, obviously. They're just not easy to find.

    Brendon, I really appreciate the little Pro Tip pop-ups you put in the videos lately. They're spot-on in terms of asserting that there aren't any true absolutes in the golf swing.
    One of the big things I hear from all of the Pros/Teaching Pros you have on the channel is that ultimately the key is what works best for you that is also consistent and repeatable. Everyone loves the aesthetics of an Oosthuizen or Scott, for example, but it's entirely feasible to play great golf without trying to swing exactly as they do. And they probably have a key flaw or two that they've managed to overcome or compensate for that no one else is really noticing, because they make it work for them.

    Thanks for bringing Bobby Lopez to my attention. This guy knows what he is talking about for sure. I have put his tips and instruction in to use for only one week and I am hitting my irons so much more solid. Still having heavy draws/hooks with the driver but that is going to take some time.

    Watched this again because not getting offside is a key for me!!

  • @bl6369
    @bl6369 8 лет назад +1

    I also wanted to add, Bobby pointed out that Jack Nicklaus had a swing thought of making sure your hands out race your shirt buttons to the ball. I have been really trying to focus on this feeling, and I must say it feels really good. It really makes your hips stay quiet and makes sure my shoulders are not too open at impact. At least that is what it feels like to me. I like what this swing thought is doing for my swing and helping to keep me in sync. So thanks Bobby and Brandon!

    Brendon your stuff is the best! Can't wait for the "OFF SIDES" video with Bobby that's a huge problem I have and I know it will help a lot of us sliding lungers. Also I've already bought the premium videos bundle and would be happy to pay for the power series as well. The content and depth is beyond anything on youtube. Thanks for all the hard work you're doing to help us all get better. Keep it up your investments will be paying off!

    Good quote by Bobby about learning how to play. John Jacobs once said if he could teach you how to hit it like Nicklaus, you may not break 80 because you'd still have to learn how to play like him.

    Enjoying the time with Bobby Lopez. Your ideas for the 'documentary' and upcoming content sounds great. Appreciate your time and effort. On a aside I have a friend that claims he has to time his lunge perfectly to play well. He actually plays OK I just find his explanation funny and self deprecating.

    Awesome video!! I also have done the free swing analysis with Bobby. It is really the best value. Love his and Monte's thoughts on the swing, both have really helped me, they are pretty much on the same page, with some minor differences. Which may may just be different ways of saying the same thing. I just wish I could play and practice more.

  • @ianjones6910

    All that stuff sounds great Brendon...I've been working pretty hard on my swing lately, and I plan on keeping at it. I've increased my speed by 10-15mph; my goal is another 15. The leftward lunge is one of the things I'm working to eliminate. What I see in the video is my head moving left a few inches, then stopping....better than a total lunge but still a big drain on power.

    Another great video! Thank you for doing this for us. How do you manage all the information that you are given and use it in your own swing? You have Monte, Dana and now Bobby telling you so much information. Do you choose pieces from each instructor or do you feel it is similar information told differently? Thanks again!

    • @BEBETTERGOLF
      @BEBETTERGOLF  8 лет назад

      +Paul S right now I am going with Monte Bobby and Tony's philosophy of a more upper body driven swing with the lower to used as reactionary. George and Dana have had a lot of success with students teaching a more pivot driven swing but I'm not going with that right now

    Thanks for all the time, investment and effort you put in to this channel Brendon. Its good following your journey. Great insight from the coaches you have on. The more senior guys have the wisdom that needs to be documented. While you're in Mississippi you should hop down to New Orleans and see Brian Manzella - he's seen it all in golfing and fixed every woe in his time!
    A few more different courses would be icing on the cake!

It will be out around October 20 but I will start a presale soon where people will get access to all the raw footage immediately as it is shot (2 interview done already) and then will get the final edited together documentary/ series on the launch day.
