Building an Idea Farm - The Big Picture

- BIG NEWS... we have bought a old cow farm in southern Sweden!
This is the first in a new series of videos documenting the next 2 or 3 years, as we transform the old farm buildings into an off-grid complex of recording studios, creative workshops, a residential gut health retreat, and sustainable kitchen garden and cafe.
This first episode lays out the vision for the farm, a virtual tour, artist impressions, architectural model, concepts and layout, accompanied by an original soundtrack - all created by Robbie Moore in his Berlin studio & lab.
We will spend the next 2 or 3 years split 50/50 between Berlin and Sweden, working half the time in the Berlin studio to buy materials for the farm, and the other half doing the building work - finally moving permanently in Summer 2022/2023 - documenting every detail on this channel!

As a fellow English guy living in Scandinavia I was surprised at the price of properties like this in Sweden. Of course there are downsides... language (I struggle after many years despite lessons), distance to local shops, remoteness of both people (I'm pretty outgoing so I've never really had too many problems) and location (all depends what you like - I like where I live on the South West of Norway)... sounds like you have a great plan as it's not just about music. I think you have picked a great spot as you are close to Denmark and Germany... . a lot of cultures!
Life is an experience and sounds like you want to challenge yourself to do new things! Looking forward to the videos over the next years!
Oh well Neil, your in luck that most Norwegian people speak and understand a decent amount of english, it could have been worse ;) But as a swede trying to learn polish I feel the struggle to learn new languages but at least I've realized the natives will always love you for trying. The benefit as a native english speaking person is you can mix Norwegian and english, its worse with polish and swedish when they don't understand any swedish :D
Oh ja! If anyone can pull this off, it is you guys! Congrats! It's amazing! We can't wait to visit :)

The house and the land look absolutely idyllic, and Söderåsen is fantastic, it's one of my favourite places. HA! - this is such a peculiar coincidence! I found your channel about a week ago and was very impressed by some of your covers and your upload about the build of your lovely Berlin studio (having been "brought up" as a sound engineer myself, in a studio here in Copenhagen filled with lovely vintage gear blacktornado.dk ).
Anyways - yesterday, about to go to sleep, my girlfriend starts talking about her future plans of getting a piece of land somewhere and starting a small eco & art society and living close to and along with nature and then she says "you are happy as long as you have a studio, right?". I answer, half asleep "yes, I would also like to go live close to nature and have some land somewhere and then I can build a studio and other stuff all day long.....perhaps a studio somewhat like that guy has build it in that video I sent you, who covers Beach Boys..but somewhere in the countryside instead of in the city." :-) And now this upload!
Congrats on the farm - the plans and the place looks just incredible!!! Also, Söderåsen is so gorgeous place... I envy you in the best possible way :-)
