I can see that property in your future Silas. Those buildings are just what you need to protect your equipment and run a fantastic scrap operation. Dream big Silas, big dreams are what living the life is all about. Stay well my friend.😮😊😊😊❤
Nice property. If the bank auctions off the property it would be interesting to see what it goes for … now that we have had the tour. Thanks for bringing us along
Thanks for risking life and limb Silas for climbing into that grain mill. Do think you could climb that big metal ladder to the top and give us a view of Kansas? Lol.
I really enjoyed this Silas. It would be amazing to go back 50 years and see this farm in full operation. That would be a great place to purchase and clean up and set up a new house for sure!
Silas, Son! Get your hiney off those precarious steps and ceilings! Please be safe out there, especially when exploring alone! Love this second channel right after your original!
That Was WAY COOL & I THINK YOU Got Yourself Talked into Buying That Place & Then You Would Be Set For What Ever.& When You Were Going Up Them Bad Stairs My Wife All of The Sudden Yelled Don't Go GET OUT OF THERE, & SCARED THE HECK OUT OF ME HA ha
That old house is what they call a "Corn Belt Cube". - two rooms high and two rooms wide. Built around 1910-1920, probably by the parents of the old man who passed away.
The machine in the attic of the building with the bolt bins is a seed cleaner. My dad was the maintenance man for our county Farm Bureau Cooperative. Helped him work on their cleaner when I was a kid in the 70s.
Thanks Silas, once I put my foot on a rotten step in an old house and took the quick way down to the basement! Went through 3 steps, it certainly got my heart racing, didn't hurt anything, but I wouldn't want to try it one handed holding a camera!
Silas, you already have the building you want...it's just in a different form, old cars , trucks, scrap etc. Clear your property of those items and then build your building 🤔
Silas Suggestion regarding crush cars, can you explain why it's okay to crush cars with tires , glass, plastic and electric wire? But not aluminum rims? What happened to these cars how do they handle the material above? Maybe a visit to these facilities would be informative?
Silas those small round grain bins, I've seen people use as a outdoor wood burning boiler furnace area, it can store wood also. I loved the farm tour 😍 thank you
Enjoyed the tour. A few months back on the other channel you bought 3 or 4 semi-trailers at an auction. Ever going to do an unboxing video with them? Those make good content. Thanks!
Hey Silas that old mill building was very cool, I imagine in the day that was a really awesome place. Definitely a very expensive operation. This entire video was really interesting , great job ! Do you have any idea how much the bank is asking for this property?
Just a guess, since I have no idea what livestock may have been on this farm... But, I'm guessing that the building @ 2:00 mark, possibly could have been a sheep shearing barn. The way that the stalls are laid out, and the height of the interior panels, is very similar to how my grandparent's sheep shearing barn was (pre-1970).
Grain bins, not buildings, silos were used to hold green field corn & grass/Alfalfa silage to feed dairy/beef cows. Tower averages 100' tall. Too bad you can not take steel bldgs. down in sections on low boy & erect on your site. Thanks for old time video.
So there is a sricp auctions in butler Nebraska rural Nebraska and its about 15mintes down the road from my great uncle rod and Alice house in butler Nebraska
Nice, relaxing video; except the part of you on that ratty staircase. This is the first time I closed my eyes on one of your videos. Me and heights don't get along well at all. I handle the drone shots just fine though.
As a point. I only like videos if the creator of the content takes the time to make a video personal by asking the audience specifically to thumbs up/like it. It is just my feeling of creators being real people trying to communicate with their audience. I did like it 👍
Well the shot you did good with the drone was quite peaceful. Thanks for taking this inside buildings to get a look at them. I kind of Wonder with all those feed sacks about the foods cycle. You know you got the bugs because of the grain like you said the mice and the rats. Raccoons snakes Nucor somewhere out there you coyotes and owls. Some danger but some perfect wildlife video if you can get it. Even if they would let you back in you know they probably want you to have a million dollars and insurance just to take down that structure. But like you said a great video.
Already liked and subscribed, but I sure do appreciate you taking us along. I grew up in an area a lot like yours and I've been in southern California for 30 years. I explored back then and I would again but I'm not built the same now and I know too much about danger. And you're right, going down a sketchy staircase is way scarier, even if climbing up is usually harder. And I understand looking at the buildings and dreaming. We're currently house shopping and seeing that big old house left to rot really hit home... no pun intended. Lots of room, big screened porch, detached garage, not too close and not too far from town. Nice. And absolutely destroyed.
Hello from Myrtle Beach SC I subscribe to all your videos just a question have you thought about a bodycam for it would leave you hands free thinking out loud but you are doing a great job with what you do thanks Samuel Phillips
What's the feasibility of hiring a building mover to come in and lift up the building and pute on wheels and role it over to your property. It would not heart to make a few calls and investigate the options, the positive side it so close that it could be economical??
I can see that property in your future Silas. Those buildings are just what you need to protect your equipment and run a fantastic scrap operation. Dream big Silas, big dreams are what living the life is all about. Stay well my friend.😮😊😊😊❤
I agree, he was dreaming while he was talking about it.
favorite part ... you thinking and dreaming and goal setting. Be Blessed young man!
😳
Be careful Silas, we need you for more great content!
😉
Beautiful piece of property in the buildings very good video silas
Saying hi from Michigan
Nice property. If the bank auctions off the property it would be interesting to see what it goes for … now that we have had the tour. Thanks for bringing us along

I was going to, but the wind wouldn’t stop
Love watching these types of videos, I don’t know why, but I do 😊
Whoever own this ..., What a work effort. It's a shame that the county got it. You don't see that kind of gumption anymore. Enjoyed!

I bet that shed has no termites!
Cool, thanks for the tour Silas,
Stayin tuned! 👍👍👍👍
Another part of Americana, past away. Sad to think of the operation that used to be, that's now gone.
Closed up shop in 2004 I found out later. Operation was at its peak in the 80s
I had a kitchen sink like that at my old farm. Best sink ever. With a picture pump for water.
The story's those building could tell.
Great old Buildings
I really enjoyed this Silas. It would be amazing to go back 50 years and see this farm in full operation. That would be a great place to purchase and clean up and set up a new house for sure!
A lot of us were dreaming right along with you! Great video!
I’m always happy to see what is left in old buildings. I like gears of all sizes too.
Love these Adventures of yours
I love the old farm tour!
Silas, Son! Get your hiney off those precarious steps and ceilings! Please be safe out there, especially when exploring alone!
Love this second channel right after your original!
Never Stop Dreaming Mr Silas. For your Family and yourself. Thanks for the walk around. I just loved it. A day out in Kansas. JR/UK
Hey yea, this is a great additional adventure
Those little grain bins take the roof and top 2 rings and set 4x4s to hold them up they make a cool gazebo
Thanks for taking the r8sk id take to see what's up there!
Hey Sillas I hope you keep us informed about what they do with the farm and buildings.

Drone shots are excellent! Great video!
Places like that kinda make me sad, to see someone’s dreams all falling and rotting on the ground.
Helpful hint: dont step on the middle of the tread. Walk on the edges. Put your weight on the stringers!
Very interesting Silas👍.
Your exploring that's why your up there. Your just as curious as we are.
Yeah, the building @ 9:10 mark would have been referred to by many, as a "grainery".
My grandparents had one of those too (pre-1970).
Silas
Suggestion regarding crush cars, can you explain why it's okay to crush cars with tires , glass, plastic and electric wire? But not aluminum rims? What happened to these cars how do they handle the material above? Maybe a visit to these facilities would be informative?
First building with the tanks was and old hog building. Most likely used for farrowing pigs
That little grain bin by the building and one out back in the woods is worth a bunch of money for people to make into gazebos
I'm jealous, that would've been fun to explore.
It's always nice to dream big . Stay strong never give up you'll get a big building one day .lol
That was COOL
Love the farm great adventure as always
What a great walk thru thanks for takeing us along
You should see what they want for this building and try to purchace the propety great vid silas 👍👍
I didn’t know you had 2 channels 👍👍👍👍👍
Great content

Love this ❤
Grain leg and the grain bin on the big stand with the hopper to fill a semi-trailer worth a lot of money not scrapped
Once again, another entertaining and informative video.
Another pleasant informative adventure!
REALLY enjoyed this video! Thanks!!!
Thanks for the great content.

It also looks like a pig barn, we had on the farm when I was a kid
@@barbfrank917 yes, you're right! I didn't think about pigs.
Hello , I think you should make them a offer on it
Cool stuff always 😎
Difentaly gave you a like on this one. Very scary steps
Noooo! Those silos make cool houses, hunting cabin. 😄 I saw a can of Chemi Fume in that building.
You always do good VIDEO'S !

What's the feasibility of dismantling the building and reassembling on your property 🤔
Pretty gutsy guy
I hope you get the opportunity to tear that stuff down that would be a great video
family generations may have worked on that farm and had to walk away
It's just so sad that the Government ends up just stealing this beautiful property, I hope they didn't sell this place to the Chinese.
Boy what a bonfire those old buildings would make?
That little shed @ 16:20 mark, looks like it might have originally been a chicken house/coop.
You’re crazy for going up there
So there is a sricp auctions in butler Nebraska rural Nebraska and its about 15mintes down the road from my great uncle rod and Alice house in butler Nebraska
Yes you got it right

That power is 440 NOT something you want to play with !!!!!! Serious hot voltage. Please stay clear
