Running my Lexani-20s currently since you recommended them already got 30,000 miles in and not a problem ! Keep up that good work J! I paid like 500-550 with warranty for 50k and everything . Solid price for solid tire . I would recommend some toyos those were some tires I had in mind besides the lexani but lexani were recommended by you and they haven’t failed me yet!
Well I have to say you kinda inspired me to purchase a 2014 q50 3.7 black on black. Man I love it! Good vid on tires. Hopefully I'll be able to get the lowering springs and a set of wheels and tires this summer. Yours is badass!
This Infiniti is tough & I've seen alot of them but yeah tires are really critical, my favorite are continental dws all season or the bf Goodrich comp 2
As always awesome video. Quick question my dude. Is it true goodyear tires will stay black? Or is it a myth like Bigfoot, the lochness monster and wrinkle free shirts?
I run riken raptor, a sub brand of Michelin on my Sentra spec v. Pretty good grippy tire 300 treadwear. Once they’re almost gone tho I’m gonna have the wheels curb rash fixed and get Falken RT660’s
If you’re over 350 wheel, they aren’t great from a dig if you’re RWD with an open diff. Having an lsd helps a lot so you could go up to 400, but beyond that, they’ll break loose
@@SpeedCultureStudios hmm i haven’t put the car on a dyno but from all the research i did im right around 400 give or take 10whp but bmw for some reason made these open diffs🤦🏽♂️ but thanks for the feedback
@@SpeedCultureStudios i have them on my front wheel drive 14’ taurus , with the 3.5L n/a , tune , e85, cold air intake, ngk plugs, in 255/45/19 it grips really well from a dig and it’s a good looking tire. It’s gripped somewhat better from a dig over time as they’ve worn down. not the best handling tire but great handling at speeds over 100. great in bad weather. kinda bulky. barely slides than grabs by 10 mph and it’ll do 60 in 5 sec. don’t know if i should stick to that on the q. I want to run the widest tire i can on my 15’ rwd 3.7 with the 9.5in 2 tone wheels for now, i thought about sticking my 1 inch spacers on it. would 275 be the widest i could go ? how wide of wheels would go on that ? with or without the spacers ? appreciate it and i love your videos. someone totaled my awd 3.7 and think i want to go for the rwd this time picking one up a white one in okc this weekend. i’m looking for a grippy performance tire that is also good in all seasons that has plenty of surface area that’s why i had went with the nitto before hand but i’m honestly considering those indy 500’s for summer and some cheaper a/s for winter.
@@adamowens5507 great to know! A 275 will fit in a 9.5” wheel no problem, but wheel offset will determine if it fits your wheel well. I’d stay away from 1” spacers. The indy 500 is a great tire up to about 350hp. They are great laterally but they won’t hold much torque beyond 275ft lbs. from a dig.
@@SpeedCultureStudios sweet thank you so much , you’ve been really helpful , i love these cars i’m on my 4th. why do you advise against the 1 in spacers ?
@@adamowens5507 spacers just put strain on your hubs/bearings. The larger they are the more strain they put on them. And a lot of times the lug bolts are not as durable as fsctory lugs and the construction of the spacer itself is not that great so it’s just not ideal.
Hi SCS, I was wondering if you know whats the biggest size tire you can fit in the front without any rubbing. 275? Ive seen other vids with 275 with 9.5" wide rim. I just wanted to see your thoughts on it. thankss
Would you recommend these for awd? I’m soon to be pushing 450whp on my 3.0t, I would like to get budget performance tires but I don’t mind paying the extra, would just like to know if these tires would be good

I swear people need to talk about the actual tires more. Digging the content I'll definitely refer to this when I'm ready for new ones!
If you where to upgrade set the back or front first, which one would you do?
Rear for me just because rwd

Our Q50 is in need of tires soon too so this was a great reference of tires to check out. Thx 💯
Perfect timing!
I love my Pirelli P-Zero Nero's! Great value tire with AA grip. Done about 12 passes at Bandimere with them. Maybe some more this spring!
Great tire. I like the P Zero but spendy. I don’t think the Nero comes in the size I needed but they aren’t priced too bad. Around $250
Is it OK in wet?
@jayjunior2023 yes!
Awesome thanks as always
Thank you for watching!

Those are great tires, but a little too pricey to make the budget list. They will likely make my upcoming best overall performance tire
Have you see the new Z1 differential brace? I hope you do a review on it.
Stay tuned 😉
I have Continental extreme contact DWs06 plus. Love them. They are really comfortable, road feedback is amazing so it’s predictable af, and grippy
They are a great tire, but wouldn’t include them in as a budget tire. I have a video coming of the best performance tires-it’ll likely make that list!
Kingdsteph are they good in rain?

What do you mean stay black?
@@SpeedCultureStudios the overall color of the tire.
@@flameon515 As opposed to looking grayish? I’ve never had a tire stay looking new without tire shine-including Goodyear.

I recommend kuhmo tires I love them and Iam stanced
They do make some good ones!
What you think of Forcem Hexa-R
What do you think of Goodyear Eagle Exhilarate??
I’m not familiar with that line. Goodyear generally puts out good tires, but I just can’t speak to that specific tire.
How do you like them from a dig my tire guy tried to recommend the st-1 but my 340i is at around 400rwhp but need something that hooks from a dig

how do you feel about the w rated nitto all seasons ?
Nitto makes a good tire. I don't have experience with the all seasons though.

The link to the Firestone and the Federal tire brands is the same.

Depends on offset, drop and camber. You could make a 275 fit in sure
What do you think of the Achilles ATR sport are they quiet
I’ve never run them personally but from what I hear there is a moderate amount of road noise. Not overly noisy but you can hear them
Loud

Nitto 555 cost a little bit more, but a much better performance tire.
