Thank you Jeanette and Melo 🥰I just bought the software. Looking forward to learning how to make patches. You are a great mentor for me and I greatly appreciate your honesty. I'm still trying to learn me SE1900 but I'll get there.. Thank you so much for sharing all your videos ❣
Hi! I'm so glad you are finding the videos helpful. You are going to really love your SE1900! I have a full playlist of videos on the machine! Happy Sewing and Embroidering!
I purchased a serger needle that has a hook and allows me to thread back the tails. I was using Fabric glue before. Now I am always using the technique of threading back the tails.
Thanks for the video. I missed the live.. when you launched embrilliance and went over the modular I couldn’t see anything you were explaining noting popup and couldn’t see the Air Force either
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts I’m going to play around with it some more I made my first successful patch yesterday for a school cardigan and my customer was pleased so I guess I have a lil skill in the making🤣
How can you make the boarder around it with embrilliance essentials and stitch art 1? I can’t figure it out and can you do a fill in stitch art 1 that’s all I have so far
A serger's basic stitches tend to be sturdier and stretchier than regular sewing machine stitches, making your garments and accessories more durable. Finally, sergers come with a blade that can slice off excess fabric as you stitch. This means you can get perfect hems with no extra cutting required.
I bought stitch artist 3 and no one to talk to about it. Do I have to purchase each program from embrillance to use thumbnailer or other programs under it. Already paid 669. For something I can’t use.
Embrillance sells modules that each have a different capability. Artist 3 is for those who are interested in digitizing their own designs. Their website have the description for each module.
Yessss! Love to see our Latin community in embroidery! Just now starting out. Hope to learn a lot from you! Fern earned a sub ! 😊
Awesome! Thank you! Enjoy your embroidery journey.

Such a cute puppy!! ❤❤ I am glad I can catch up watching this patch. I keep telling myself I will jump on my em-1010 but I’m still not there yet 😅
You can do it!
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts I need to get a refresher lol. I got a magnetic hoop but forgot which setting to use
Thank you so much for answering my question regarding if I had to purchase the Merrowly software.
Happy to help!
What kinds towels did you purchase for cutting into fourths? I really like that idea
I will be posting a video how what I use and how to do this soon.
For the end thread you use a large eye needle. Thread the tail end of the threads back thru the serger stitches.

Newbie here. Toward the end, you mentioned using felt for patches, how well does it wash?
No issues with the patches. They hold up great.

Thanks for letting me know. I'll do a follow up video.
Jeanette, your blue denim cap is cool where would I get one like yours?
These are Adam’s hats.
Thank you for this video, it was very helpful. Where do you buy the twill? Is it plain twill fabric or the bonded type like some companies sell?
Glad you like the video. I purchase the twill from Stalhs.
Thank you!@@BoricuaSewingCrafts
I wish I saw this last night before I got frustrated and purchased merrowly at 1am this morning🤦🏽♀️
There is still alot of value in getting the Merrowly module. I don't have any regrets in getting it. I love that I can do custom patches.

I use the patch module. Or you can buy border designs.
I am beginning to sew and I am curious what is the purpose of a serger?

You can get twill in lots of different places. I order it from Amazon and Stahls. But looks around to make sure you get a good price on it.
