Welcome back to my another insights series video ! I visited Hochschule Darmstadt and made this video on Masters in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology course offered there. In this video I have tried to give you insights on the course, curriculum, specialization areas, living expenses, accommodation options etc. The video initially talks about the admission procedure, course structure, gives detailed info on subjects, then about job prospects after masters, part time jobs etc. Then it proceeds with general information about monthly expenses, university fees, life in Darmstadt etc, and in the end it also shares review about the course, tips to come prepared for the course. Is it mandatory to show german language proficiency . Because on website they mentioned in language requirement that ,
Language requirement : german. But individual course can be taught in english .
The course is in English
There is a catch. German level A1 is required for the internship in 3rd Semester. German level A2 for master thesis. You can get a certificate from India or you can take the german course offered by the university itself.

Hey Rushikesh, can you make a video on ECTS requirements? I have total credits of 160 in my bachelor's course of 4 years in Electronics and Communication engineering but since German universities require 180 credits (ECTS) then how can I get those 20 extra ones

Actually our b tech credits are not considered as ECTS, in general for every semester = 30 ECTS, 4 years = 8 sems*30 = 240 ECTS.

Hi,
Could you please resolve my doubt? I gave IELTS on 17 Aug 2023 and want to apply for Oct 2024 intake in Germany. The visa requirements say that language test scores should not be older than 1 year. So should I take IELTS again? Or is the current test result sufficient in the event that I get an admit and apply for visa before 17 August 2024?
I think dont needed...because if college gives you admission..offee letter is sufficient

@@aakashv483 sorry bro.... That i don't know..... I think it will not be needed... If you you got admit into a public university then you can submit your earlier ielts score...
Usually you will get admits by June/July max.. you should be able to apply with the certificate then

Thanks for your comment, but I really don't have idea about this field 😬 mostly because these course are only in German and very few people are interested in it.
