Well, I can tell you the name of the pattern for the purple lace dress top- Combo Dress. It is from Knit Simple magazine. I don't know the date or volume of this pattern, but it was on page 74 and is called Combo Dress. Knit in Mori, which is a fingering weight. The yarn I used was from Dollar Tree a really fine yarn more lace weight than fingering. I knit the size 6, aiming at a size 4. I modified it with an added in pattern panel for the sides and opened one shoulder to the neck for longer wearing ability, adding two buttons for closure. I'd say the yarn is nice to work with and is still available where I bought it. It is 100% acrylic, but knit more like sock yarn. Last week, I noticed they also have the same yarn and now also in 2 different dark greens. Maybe I would try this held double. Sizes for this pattern are 2, 4 and 6 children's. They rated this pattern a 3 in difficulty on a 1-4 rating. It required stitch markers for the lace pattern, but I found it not that hard to memorize the lace sections. It is a pieced garment.
