Great video Corinne! I’ve used Crafters Square faux leather in all 4 colors they offer. I like to put heat and bond on the back and use it like an htv on things like wood round door hangers and other rigid materials. Never made a bow yet, so I’ll have to give that one a try with your recommendations 👍🏼 -Valerie :)
Thanks Corrine! Nice to know what my options are at Dollar Tree. I've often perused the CS vinyl but have not used it as yet. Now I will try it thanks to your informative video.
I normal cut my faux leather fuzzy side up and faux leather side on the mat. I find that i get cleaner cuts. Ive never tried dollar tree faux leather though...will try soon.
thanks corrine another great video.i just found faux leather halloween sheets dollar tree last week.trying to figure out what to make with them. i would appreciate if you have any ideas to add .
I notice in this video that you use the fabric mat to cut faux leather. Do you recommend using that instead of the purple mat? I make faux leather earrings and keychains and sometime the leather lifts even with painter’s tape along the edges. I also roll the faux leather with a brayer before cutting it.
As I state in the video you can use the heat press I just chose to use the mini press because I didn’t want to to heat up my big press for such a small simple project

Bookmarks would be so cute!
May I suggest a clothespin, or black clip to hold the band together while you crimp your clamp?
Good idea! I was thinking I could also use like super glue next time for that extra hold
I like the iron on okay so far, but the vinyl to me was very hard to weed, Images without a lot of detail work fine.
When doing the key fob, did you iron on the HTV to the front or back of the faux leather?
The back

Either one is fine. It’s whatever works best for you.
Is there a link to those hinge key chains you used in this video? Thanks!
Yes totally! I must have forgotten them. These are the ones I got amzn.to/45HI0jy
Why not use the heat press? I think i missed the reason.
