I didn't have any faux leather, so I used Cricut Faux Suede which I bought years ago (I don't think they sell it anymore which is a shame). I also didn't have any snaps, so I cut out two thin strips of the suede and sliced out a small hole on each end of the bracelet in Design Space, attaching the strips to the bracelet with fabric glue. I just used the normal fine point blade in my Maker 3 but had to cut twice. Turned out great. Thank you for the designs Jennifer.
I have requested and been waiting for a faux leather bracelet svg and video. Thank you, Jennifer. I can’t wait to try these and possibly even create my own!😊
Jennifer! What a great idea! i just bought the snap kit and I can't wait to try this. I would like to make some for our church bazaar. I am a little nervous about the snaps but I know who I can ask if I need help!❤ Thank you for this!
I bought a roll of faux leather at Dollar Tree and just to play around with it, I cut a portion with narrower width to fit on my Joy mat (standard grip.) I decided to cut a holiday theme jumping deer from Design Space. It cut so beautifully. I was amazed! I will definitely give these bracelets a go. I was wondering what to do with the faux leather. Thanks Jennifer! Happy Holidays…Merry Christmas 🎁 🎄🎅
Thank you so much, I watched so much video but they aren'thelpful, your video helped me alot, thanks, would you please learn how to cut very light paper? Like wafer paper,
I have a question and unfortunately I'm not sure where to go to ask. I have been following you for about3 year. I want to customize a clear clip board by engrave something, as a gift. I can't find any videos how too. Can you help?
I watched the video several times.. You showed how to attach the leather to the mat.. but never mentioned which side faced the mat.. but then in the cricut setup instructions to say to mirror the image.. "because it cuts better from the back" but i can't tell if you put the leather side down or the backside down.. or doesn't it matter? (if the leather is the same on both sides, then why would we need mirror?).. Sorry just trying to understand the reason for the mirror
There are more details on the blog post. Turn “Mirror” on for your leather mat because they cut better from the back. NOTE: If you're using glitter leather, leave “Mirror” switched OFF and put your leather on the mat with the glitter side up. jennifermaker.com/how-to-make-leather-bracelets/
