I just got my Cricut Maker after Thanksgiving. Normally I am a person that would be hesitant to make mistakes or break something. But I got right into it. I use it everyday and make at least one project a day. I have made a lot of Christmas gifts that I think my family will love getting. I’m pretty much hooked. I don’t know why I waited so long to get one! And I watch all your videos and am in the middle of reading your Cricut Coach book now. Thank you for all you do!
Perfect timing Jennifer and team. I have a last minute gift to make- signs for a large home-made bird house- For rent, Bloom where you’re planted, and a directional sign. Printable vinyl on Cricut wood probably protected by modge podge.
I love this....I need these..lol I am always forgetting which way the mats protective cover goes. and all the other tips you have. and I really like your saying when you are done. thank you for sharing
Thanks for the tips! Even tho I still can't get my machine to stop cutting into the center of the earth with a mat. I now have several mats with deeps cuts in them. Smart materials are fine. I think something is wrong with my blade or housing and no matter what I do it won't stop deep cutting everything. I'm going to try a new blade/housing first and then I'm gonna call Cricut. It's so frustrating b/c it's brand new and giving me so much grief. At least the smart iron on finally worked and I was able to finish Christmas gifts. I love my machine but also want to throw it in the ocean haha
The best thing about this purchase, is that my husband bought it for me while I east in the hospital. He ran to Walmart while I was resting and he grabbed some dinner. Then came back to stay with me for the night. Lucky everything turned out ok and returned home to see my gift. I love this man since I was 17 and I am 60 now.
I have just starting making stickers and became frustrated with glossy sticker paper! The sensors are misreading the cutting. I have recalibrated several times, put scotch tape over the registration lines, and turned off all lights! Help??? Colette
Hi Jennifer, I missed the live. I've had my Cricut Maker since 2018, and recently, it started stopping and shutting off. Two years ago, a small plastic piece came off the machine. When I called, they told me they didn't know where it came from, and as long as it's running, there's nothing to do. When I called about the shutting off, I was told the tool guide ( small plastic piece) was part of the problem. I'm past warranty do you have any suggestions.😢 I was one of those who waited to open my box it could have been something I could've seen before. 😮
I'd check your power cable -- is it secure in both ends? Is it plugged into a reliable outlet? If you move it to another outlet, does it still do the same thing? If that's not it, make sure there's not something behind your Cricut, like your cord, that is stopping the mat from moving -- if it hits something, it will stop.
i keep trying to get into using it, im very tech minded but i cannot get along with the design space, tried numerous tutorials, cant even make a basic card unless i spend more money. Im at my limit with the amount ive already forked out and thats after buying the 'ultimate bundle' of the explore 3, not cheap, didnt include a brayer or a basic score tool even, no mats for cutting the materials on. so i had to buy more and more until ive got to the point im done. Last straw was needing the cricut cards and inserts (how much?!) and a mat for another $20, $50+ if i want to make the most basic card (no tutorial on cutout words, buy a cricut pen instead for a bit more money!), without getting a headache from tutorials telling me numbers in inches for this, then attach that, then make and insert but not the same size.....if there was really beginner friendly tutorials i would love it, but its all just more cash grab :/ sorry

Do I click more pressure if I want to cut through to have totally seperate stickers?

Is there any way to upload multiple SVG images at one time? Like when you purchase a bundle because uploading one by one is way too time consuming.
