Pokemon Pull Rate Experiment - How Many Evolving Skies Packs to Pull an Alt Art Eeveeloution?

In today's video, we try our best to debunk the myth that it is IMPOSSIBLE to pull an Eeveeloution Alternate Art from Evolving Skies. In order to do this, we looked at pull rates for this set to determine how many packs on average we will need to open in order to pull 1 Eeveeloution Alternate Art. After we calculated the packs needed, we cracked them all open to see if we could pull what we are looking for. Did we have success?

Sorry for the poor quality on this. The file size was extremely large and the audio got all messed up during rendering. I tried my best to fix it up in Premier, but it’s a bit over my head. I’ll have to dig into obs to see how all my settings got messed up.
Turned to gain up too high to probably compensate for an audio recording problem that resulted in quiet audio? It will start to distort really quickly as you turn the gain up to change the overall volume. You can try to compensate with a bit of compression on the audio to keep the louder audio from distorting.
If I’m way off, feel free to ignore 😂

I'm currently 13 mins in and these pull rates are absolutely bonkers for loose packs. Significantly better than a booster box. Blows my mind.

Had such a blast watching this!! So happy to see those insane pulls! From what we've seen on Twitter at least, loose/mixed/single packs seem to yield better luck with pulling alt arts. But of course, it's all a toss up and random in the end, as we have also seen some loaded booster boxes. Our luck with this set has definitely not been great, but hoping to get more packs when the reprint drops to try our luck again, feeling inspired after watching this! I’ve seen a lot of ES openings (being my favourite set and all) and people get skunked….. hard. Glad to see you were one of the few to have the Poké-Gods bless you with absolute fire pulls. Great video as always Senpai.

I've opened around 7-8 booster boxes worth of Evo Skies and I've pulled nearly every alt art in the set...aside from the eeveelutions. The only eeveelution alt art I've pulled is Glaceon V.
This makes me more appreciative that I was able to pull Espeon V alt art on my first Evolving Skies pack. Just recently got back into collecting

Yeah but you need to go ahead and back out of collecting. No reason for you to have started collecting again. You're just buying into hype and in the long run it's not going to benefit you in anyway

I opened probably 2-300 es packs without getting an alt art eveelution. Then I got one out of a single collectors chest ( was only 1 es pack in it lol ) everything I went through to pull the umbreon alt art was worth it tho 😭😂
i opened 20 es packs and got no hits :( only a couple holos

That was a pretty insane rip!!! Not just the quantity of hits but the sheer variety of them. The number of duplicates was reasonably low.
This set, man. Talk about an abusive relationship. It kicks my butt all the time, but I keep going back to it. SMH. I can't say for certain until Lost Origins comes out, but I think this is THE BEST S&S era set.

The sleeved boosters from PC were super stacked... have 6 alt arts from 5 orders of 12-18 packs.. also got like 7 rainbows....

I managed to pull the Moonbreon two weeks ago from a booster box, so it IS possible.

I was absolutely surprised by the amount of eevelutions. I love collecting them and was honestly overwhelmed by the amount that appeared.

Love the video. However, your audio was too loud in this video. I had headphones on and it almost hurt my ears lol. Also Card N All Gaming just released a video on the ES reprint may already happened and it was small. Same for Selig's Pokemart. Maybe there will or won't be more honestly

@@randyblouin I had the same issue and turned the volume down but even with the volume almost on mute It still kind of hurt my ears because his mic was kind of fuzzy and glitchy when he got loud.

I am not surprised this rumor exists. From personal experience, between two ETBs, several three pack blisters, and tons of packs from other products, I have opened well over 130 Evolving Skies packs and have not gotten a single alternate art of anything, let alone an Eeveelution.

I’ve had my fill with Evolving Skies. Pulled, Rayquaza Vmax Alt, 3 Glaceon V alt, 1 Sylveon V alt, and a Glaceon Vmax Alt art. Gonna buy the rest of the big hitters I need to complete my Master set!
Im down to needing just the Umbreon vmax alt art to complete my set. Seeing you pulled 4 in your data set but the same amount of sylveon vmax alt art as my hurt my soul
I pulled Glaceon V Alt from my first pack, so yeah it's all about luck.

I have noticed that ES’s packs I’ve been opening from the 5 pack tins have had the new style code cards. Reprint is already hitting.
When the sleeved booster packs were on Pokemon Center, I picked up 20 packs and got 2 eeveelutions alt arts. I think I had some of those "stacked packs". Also had a rainbow vmax too.
These are some awesome pulls. It is true. You can pull the alternate art eeveelution in single packs. I pulled my alternate art Umbreon Vmax from an umbreon single pack. It's a gorgeous card. Awesome channel Danny.
I’ve had really good luck lately with sleeved boosters! Just recently pulled the Espeon V alt art and Rayquaza V alt art

This set is definitely for collectors. The top cards are hardly ever seen in competitive play.
That does not help the value of cards at all, if a card is meta and played the card will be more expensive to collectors over time, because more copies were used in actual competitive play, thus resulting in less desirable copies to grade.

Great pulls. Usually cost per pack is more expensive in boxes and tins. 30+ packs from random boxes would be expensive.

If it helps anyone at all for stats, I recently received an Evolving Skies Elite Trainer Box for the holiday and the 3rd pack opened actually landed the secret rare Umbreon Vmax alt art. Honestly the only packs I've opened for that particular set so it was on amazing chance.

Pulled Umbreon VMax Alt Art from a single ES pack in an Umbreon tin. Was literally the 5th pack I ever opened. After watching several RUclipsrs opening packs, I couldn’t fathom how lucky I was. Getting it graded by PSA.
Nice video Danny, this is actually a more fun opening compared to the booster box opening. Because I am more keen to guess the unpredictable pull rates.
I had someone open 22 or so packs for me during a live break all random loose packs. They pulled 2 Alt Art Leafys for me lol. It was super weird and OP break since Umbreon came out the box after and then Rayquaza Alt art came out in the box after that. Was a crazy 7 hour stream!

I’ve pulled Umbreon Vmax and Leafeon V from 30 single pack blisters, Glaceon Vmax from one of the 3 divergent tins…the only thing I noticed, because I track trends as well, they came from the packs with the old code cards…

I'm right with you on the quality control issues. It's really frustrating. I've been looking through the 1000s of commons I have for Pokemon Go for what I feel are PSA 10 versions of the cards. I'd say 95% of the cards have centering, printing, and edging issues (many are folded up on the sides I don't know what that's from). I've never played any of these cards so it's just frustrating to feel like I'm being given a substandard product.
This was nuts haha. I remember pulling the Sylveon alt art v and vmax out of the same first wave booster box then going cold for 4 mos my next alt art umbreon v then back in mid May the espeon v blessed me .
I haven’t opened much Evolving Skies but I pulled the Umbreon VMax alt from a random sleeved pack about a month ago, and 2 Sylveon VMax alts from Divergent Powers tins. Haven’t pulled any others though.

I was lucky enough to pull the Alt Art Umbreon V (not the vmax) a while back. By far my best pull from Evolving skies. Pulled the Rainbow Rayquaza in the same booster box after getting nothing in a couple of other boxes. Then the prices went crazy!
I pulled the Umberon too from my box too.
I have pulled most of them. I know the Moonbreon as it's been called I bought 72 packs from PC and 3rd pack pulled it

I've opened a decent amount of ES but managed to pulled only glaceon v alt art and sylveon vmax alt art from collection boxes. Terrible pull rate or it it just me? 😅
Only one I've ever been graced to see isn't even from ES lol. It was the espeon vmax from fusion lol. Which I'm not complaining about at all. Still wish I could find the other ones tho

Nice pull. As for the exeggutor v box i got 3 hit off of it. 2 mewtwo vstar and a dragonite vstar. My luck with pogo is better then other set
ES was the first set I bought loose single packs for from a store and my lord, I wish I had your pulls. I didn't pull any gold, rainbow, alts, and only 1 full art out of 40. Felt like a fool.

I opened a box from the pokemon center a couple months ago when they had them for retail (in may) I got the leafeon vmax alt art and the batman vmax alt art
