I think the reason for the price difference between the Alt Art Umbreon and Alt Art Rayquaza is strictly due to Umbreon's popularity. Consistently voted one of the most popular Pokemon Also, if you look back on the value of older Umbreon cards, you can see how valuable they are.
Nah, if you look at the data, Ray was more valuable for quite awhile, and then suddenly moonbreon jumped past it. I think this in itself is indicative that moonbreon is short printed.
@@JusZard Oh for sure, thats an awesome card. I didn't necessarily mean any one Umbreon is always going to br more valuable than any one Ray, but I've seen some Uncommon Umbreons in sets that are more valuable that some Ray's. Just an observation!
Just pulled this card out of a pokemon celebrations 25th anniversary with Lance's Charizard from Amazon USED for super cheap. The box was definitely tossed around and had some serious damage to the big card. Only had one evolving skies pack and I was lucky enough to pull it today!!!!
Man tell me about it. This set is beating me so badly, I've already open a hundred booster packs last week and only one alternate art. Tomorrow I'm going to record 80 packs and wish me luck. I had to go to eight different locations because of the limit they have on Pokémon cards now. Hopefully you guys can check it out. Thank you Rev for this. You didn't really pump me up to open up the rest. Oh my God this set is crazy!
Lol I know how you feel although I've been lucky with the alts in the set have about 7 or 8 of them but still missing a bunch there's so many. I'm over 400 packs in but still haven't pulled some Vs and Vmaxs 🤦♂️

Agreed im with you on the master set part for this set. Its the only set other than hidden fates that I've liked recently. However, I like to go for the alt arts in other sets as well.
I never get any good luck with ETB's on any set tbh. Ive opened maybe 200 loose Sleeved booster packs from the reprint of EVS and I've gotten 2 alts. 1V and 1Vmax. Im still chasing that Umbreon also man, but at this point i could have bought 2 with the amount of EVS i've opened lol

It’s crazy, when opening these packs I just rush through them too. But when you are looking at wotc cards or opening wotc packs you take your time. Nothing will ever come close to the wotc era that some of us got to experience around 10 yrs old.

We luckily pulled an Umbreon VMax Single Strike with Charizard Vmax, Urshifu Vmax, and Charizard V and some good cards from the Sword and Shield Ultra Premium Collection-Charizard!
My nephew and I bought the Lances Charizard TCG box. His first box that he has bought and pulled the Charizard and also not knowing the Umbreon Vmax. After asking me if this card was worth anything. I knew right away that this Umbreon was DEFINITELY WORTH IT!
I just pulled the Umbreon today!!! It was insane! It was in a TIN too! I only opened up 4 tins and 1 of them I got so lucky to pull this. I lost my mind alittle. Lol
I actually do have the Umbreon Vmax alt art! I pulled it out of a pack(I had 3 in total) I had sitting in my room for a few months. Pulled live on a Tiktok video I posted (Weebpanda) It was back during the first print run so I am so thankful for that as I have seen the pull rates have dwindled exponentially. I wish everyone luck in pulling their own!
I got the moonbreon on my first and only booster box on my first purchase of Pokémon cards in about 20 years. Currently getting graded now. It looks really nice. Guess I got lucky

When this set came out I bought sets of 8-10, 3 pack blisters at a time. Every single lot of 8-10 gave me an alt art. The pulls now are definitely nerfed.
I've pulled this card twice already and the rayquaza but I have not pulled any other alt art vmax. But have pulled V alt arts. Sucks for my master set but great for rarity collecting

I actually did pull that umbreon vmax alt art, I got it from the hisuian starter tins, maybe try the luck there! But that was also the only pull I have gotten from the set but I bought mostly just blisters and those tins

You guys will hate me. But in one sitting of 45 blisters, I pulled 2x moonbreons, 1 ray vmax alt, 1x sylveon vmax alt, 1 Dragonite alt, and one espy alt V, I think they didn’t sort the hits In with the non hits. Was pretty epic.
deadass i pulled the rayquaza and moonbreon in the same 4-pack tins from costco i got for christmas. Rayquaza came back PSA 9 and moonbreon came back a PSA 10

Just starting the video but hope you pull it, like many I’m sure it’s one of my favorite looking cards from any of the S&S sets, crazy it’s THAT expensive though.
I have just started collecting a month ago, bought a few booster packs of EVS while they were still available at local shops and.. one of the packs contained this Umbreon. But now that EVS is gone from all the 'normal' shops getting the other Vmax alt arts seems impossible.
Only good card I pulled from about 100 packs of evolving skies is a rainbow leafeon . Didn't know the odds were so big for an alt art I wanted the leafeon

The pull rates on release were insane, I bought a case of Evolving Skies and pulled on average two Alt Arts per box, some being Sylveon Vmax and another being the MoonBreon. I got lucky though.

me too i have a binder and i got rayquaza and sylveon and sky scraper and charizard and thunderous and i have umbreon Gx and alot of pokemon base sets

I had 12 sleeved packs today and I pulled it!!! They were from the first print run, my local target had them. I could tell by the code cards
I opened EVS some 500 boosters - I had 2x rayquaze vmax AA, 2x rayquaze v AA, but never Umreon :( So i feel you.
